17/03/2026: We were very warmly welcomed at the restaurant. Florence, who took care of us, was extremely friendly and welcoming. Her jokes made the evening even more enjoyable, and we felt very comfortable. We had an appetizer, followed by wine and meat. Everything we ate was truly delicious. Both the quality of the food and the service were excellent. We especially want to thank Florence for her attention, energy, and lovely conversation. Thanks to her, we had a very pleasant evening. We will definitely be back.

17/03/2026: We had a lovely evening. Despite the change of ownership, we were well served and welcomed by Florence, the restaurant manager, who was very friendly, helpful, and always smiling. It's a shame she's not staying. 🫤 I had meat, and it was very tender. I recommend this restaurant; I go there regularly.

25/05/2026: Another wonderful evening at Le Vieux Pressoir in Itterswiller. As always, we received a very warm welcome from Aubin and the owner. It was especially lovely that they even knew my name. 😊 We enjoyed it so much that we went back twice. The meat was excellent, the asparagus perfectly prepared, and the strawberry ice cream was also delicious. The atmosphere in the courtyard during the summer is simply magnificent and makes the experience even more special. Keep up the good work, we'll be back with great pleasure!

31/05/2026: This restaurant deserves ZERO STARS. We arrived at 12:15 for aperitif service, and were presented with a Mother's Day menu, a menu, and a chalkboard. However, after a 1 hour and 15 minute wait, with our order still untaken and the owner and waiter making completely unprofessional remarks, we decided to leave this truly awful place (waitresses, change careers if your job bothers you so much). There are many other restaurants that are much more organized than this one.

04/05/2026: A lovely restaurant in a green setting. Unfortunately, the tarte flambée was burnt, as was the replacement after complaining.

31/03/2026: Every time we're in Alsace, we make a detour to this lovely restaurant, tucked away in the forest but not too far from town, with a large free parking lot. We're always greeted with a smile and good cheer. The dining room is spacious and the decor is pleasant. The tables are well-spaced, the food is top-notch, and there's a large terrace in the summer. The tarte flambée is perfectly cooked and beautifully topped. As for the desserts, even if you've already had a good meal, don't miss them! (The giant profiterole is amazing!) Excellent value for money. Well done, keep it up!

15/05/2026: We were at Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, and since the restaurant at the castle didn't accept card payments, we went to this restaurant based on a recommendation. My girlfriend immediately tried her first tarte flambée and was very impressed. The roast pork with crackling, as well as the desserts crème brûlée and fondant au chocolat, were also très bien. We didn't speak any French beyond what Google Translate could provide, and she didn't speak any German, but with a bit of gesturing and a little English, it was a very pleasant restaurant visit. We highly recommend it, even if it looks closed from the outside—just walk in.

11/05/2026: The best place for carpaccio lovers. It's become a must-visit for my family and me. The carpaccios are all-you-can-eat with accompaniments, always made with high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The wines and cocktails are excellent and the recommendations are spot-on. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and inviting. The team is fantastic, with a special mention for Marc, who is always welcoming and attentive on every visit. :)

31/05/2026: We stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant by chance. It's a bit off the beaten tourist track. The owner is very welcoming, and the food is authentic Alsatian. The tarte flambée is divine – crispy and generously topped. The price is absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely be back. Thanks again for the tip about the charming half-timbered villages. We visited them.

23/10/2025: Excellent stay at the Logis Hôtel du Herrenstein! Very comfortable and spotless room, delicious dinner and a top-notch breakfast with fresh fruit salad and a lovely sweet and savory selection. Very friendly and professional staff, and super convenient parking. I highly recommend it!

20/10/2025: We spent a weekend night there. The welcome was very warm. Our room was clean and relatively large, although perhaps a little dated, but it fit in with the setting. The view from the room is simple but pleasant; I think at this time of year we were almost the only guests. I particularly recommend the restaurant, which is very beautiful and where we ate very well for a reasonable price.
