26/09/2024: It's very cozy, a nice boss, attentive waiters. The cuisine lacks a little bit of vegetable accompaniment but it is very good, especially the main course...the desserts also lack a little choice because in these restaurants you want to taste everything that is traditional so a gourmet coffee must be on the menu...MTN it was a good little restaurant.

26/08/2024: Excellent top meal, after the price difference we expect that. As said, top meal, also top personal! On the other hand, when cashing, the boss finally the mother of the boss. Made us understand that the 5 euros for drinks was not enough. This ruined this delicious meal! Too bad, but after 40 years of experience she should know how to behave. As said, too bad

30/07/2024: We like coffee especially flat white on alternative milk, such as oat milk or coconut milk. So in Strasbourg not many coffee shops which serve this kind coffee. I want to say that this Tonton gâteau cafe is one of the best and delicious coffee so far in Strasbourg. So if you want to try good coffee - it’s the right place. Also location is very good as well. Parking place is right behind the corner. Very convenient.

09/07/2025: Good French cuisine at a very reasonable price! Excellent, it's a local favorite. However, the only downside is the menu posted on Facebook. It's complicated when you're not registered on Facebook.

08/07/2025: The new owners are very professional, pleasant, and helpful. The food is excellent, both the tartes flambées and the rest of the menu. I definitely recommend this beautiful place.

27/11/2024: Family and warm atmosphere, top-notch service and a chef who goes out of his way to (re)awaken our taste buds with his cuisine, we went there for a couscous evening, I had the impression of eating my grandmother's couscous It was so good, oh yes and what's more. The cuisine is generous, we have a very full stomach when we leave.

27/09/2024: Excellent restaurant, all the elements are there to have a good time and please your taste buds. We were there, as part of a business dinner. I tried the duck breast (cooked to perfection, sorry to the chef, but I like it well cooked) and my evening companions opted for the carpaccio. We were all delighted with our dishes. Drink 🍺 Corsican beer, October spritz (orange, cinnamon and...). A very chilled rosé, finished with a glass of crémant. Dynamic waitress, smiling and sociable, good impression before discovering that it was the manager. Setting and decor rather well arranged. Availability Outdoor terrace Ideal for a daytime business lunch Group meal in the evening Oh yes, I almost forgot the tarte flambée as a starter, it was great. 22/09/2024: Worth the detour! The chef has a lot of talent, and makes original combinations of very good products. I recommend this restaurant and the sweetbreads in particular for those who like it. Either way, everything is delicious, the service friendly and attentive. A special mention for the touching attention of a dessert candle for a birthday 😀

I've been going there for years, the service is always impeccable, the people who work there are all very nice, the dishes are tasty... I've been away from Alsace for a few years now, but when I come back to see my family ,I never leave without having gone to eat at the Eagle ^^
