04/01/2026: By far the best food we’ve had on our trip around Europe in the past 2 weeks. Arriving at the restaurant itself at night through the vineyards alone was already a uniquely fun experience. Their braised ham was cooked to absolute perfection(well worth the extra wait required), the black angus steak was also juicy and perfectly flavoured… If this was located in a touristy part of town they’d have 2 hour lineups for sure, but I sure am glad that this is a hidden gem.

22/12/2025: The best surprises are often the ones you stumble upon by chance. Discovered on my way back from the Colmar market, trying to escape the tourist traps and crowds. A lovely time spent enjoying traditional home-style cooking and professional, efficient service. Looking forward to returning next time.

06/04/2026: A huge thank you for this wonderful experience! From the moment I made the appointment by phone, I was greeted with kindness and professionalism, which immediately made me eager to come. And once I arrived… what a pleasure! A humble, human, and warm welcome, with the added bonus of a great sense of humor—it was so refreshing 🤍 And then the fried carp… oh my goodness, absolutely divine! A pure delight, and all-you-can-eat—it was hard to resist! 😄 To finish, I indulged in a four-flavor ice cream vacherin… and again, pure bliss. In short, I loved eating there from beginning to end. A place I wholeheartedly recommend, and where I will return with great pleasure! A big thank you to you all, and please don't change a thing.

12/04/2026: Wow, what a discovery! The menu is simply perfect and offers very fair value for money. There was a slightly longer wait as there were two of them serving the restaurant. Also, they only have Coke Zero; this should be mentioned when ordering. Until next time!

04/04/2026: A restaurant serving traditional Alsatian dishes, with a very special atmosphere thanks to the witches (who bring good luck in Alsace) hanging from the ceiling alongside small copper cauldrons. The quality is high; I think I ate the best spaetzle of my entire stay in Colmar and the surrounding area (and the Munster pork shank was also amazing). The service was friendly and fast (special mention: we have a small child, and they served him first).

30/03/2026: A quick, impromptu visit with friends to this charming little restaurant after a strenuous day of sports. We received a very warm welcome from the staff, who even offered us a quieter table away from the crowd. The very traditional decor immediately immersed us in the atmosphere, and the menu confirmed we'd made the right choice. Each dish looked more tempting than the last, but don't worry: whatever you choose is guaranteed to be delicious! A simple, pleasant moment, delicious and generous portions, and incredibly friendly staff—everything was perfect for a wonderful evening. The only downside is that we're not from the area, so we won't be able to return…

18/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! The decor is magnificent and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal: the dishes and desserts were beautifully prepared and refined. Special mention for the very generous breakfast the following morning. An excellent place, we highly recommend it!

12/06/2025: A mountain inn with a special warmth, excellent food made from many home-grown ingredients, and simple yet cozy rooms. In summer, we were awakened by the morning sun on our pillows and the sound of swallows. Later, we had breakfast on the large sun terrace in front of the house, with a sweeping view of the countryside and the upcoming hike. The perfect day!

30/04/2026: One star because we can't give less... We sat on the (empty) terrace for 25 minutes and no one came to take our order. So we went to Kraft Point right across the street, where we were served in 4 minutes despite the crowds (plus they had a great selection of beers). I recommend it!
