13/08/2024: I think this is a restaurant more for regulars than for people passing through. We felt a bit like we were disturbing. No menu (it's not possible to know the price of drinks) just a slate with 2 or 3 dishes, I don't know anymore.

23/09/2024: Une auberge nichée dans un cadre exceptionnel, qui propose des menus et une carte élaborés entièrement sur place, à partir de produits frais et majoritairement locaux. Accueil et service très agréable, le tout à des prix raisonnables.

07/09/2024: Cadre magnifique autour du restaurant . Très bel Acceuil avec nos deux bouledogues français. Les plats très bons et très copieux . Un des chefs est venu à notre table nous faire goûter des giroles ramassé dans le coin , j’ai trouvé cela très généreux de sa part 😋. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant, on y retournera avec plaisir pendant les fêtes de Noël😍. Katy

10/01/2026: While passing through the area, we were looking for a restaurant serving local dishes. A very pleasant discovery! The waitress was attentive, and the portions were generous and unpretentious. The dining room is a bit echoey, which is slightly bothersome when there aren't many customers.

29/11/2025: Unfriendly staff from the moment we arrived. The waitress greeted us with a raised eyebrow and a sigh; I've experienced more welcoming service. The meal was simple, hearty, and plentiful. The dining room echoed, so privacy was limited. A nice touch was the thick toilet paper – a welcome feature. 🤌

11/12/2025: In the bathroom there is no toilet paper or clean reusable towels, just a tiny towel for all customers to clean their hands, which is poor hygiene on a busy day. The price is excessive for the quality-price ratio, and the care taken in explaining the service to customers is also not good. I am a bariatric patient and don't eat a full meal, so I share a plate with my 5-year-old daughter. I was forced to order two plates or I would have to leave! That means half the food goes to waste! Lack of sensitivity! A beautiful and charming restaurant, it may have a reputation, but they are not respectful!

30/11/2025: We had a wonderful weekend in this little chalet. It was spotlessly clean, the welcome was warm, and all the information we needed was provided accurately. Access to the chalet is easy and pleasant. Breakfast was also very good. We have absolutely no complaints; everything was perfect! We plan to return in the summer to enjoy the nearby hiking trails. We highly recommend it.

29/12/2025: Reservation made via Google for Monday, December 29, 2025, at 12:30 PM, confirmation received by text message. We arrived at the restaurant with our family, but there was no one there... the restaurant was closed for vacation until January 2nd... There was no information on the restaurant's website, and Google was completely out of date. Thanks for wasting your time!

19/12/2025: Superb restaurant serving traditional cuisine. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Despite a full house at lunchtime, we were served quickly. The sauerkraut was exquisite.

10/12/2025: Huge disappointment: Our favorite family restaurant isn't what it used to be! We'd been coming to this establishment for years for our family celebrations, but unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment, mainly due to the disastrous service. From the moment we arrived, we had to wait on a cramped staircase. The waiters brushed past us without even a glance or a greeting. Zero consideration! When someone finally deigned to greet us and seat us, we were served a real gem of a waiter! Apparently the son of the original owner, he was shockingly unpleasant. He made rude remarks, and his attitude clearly showed that our questions bored him (if the menu had been clearer, we wouldn't have needed to bother him!). And that's not to mention that my aperitif was completely forgotten! And when we pointed this out to him when the drinks were served with the main course, he reacted with disdain and not a word of apology came out of his mouth! What a complete lack of professionalism and politeness!! I ordered fried carp: a frozen product, served on a small plate the size of a dessert plate, with a side of fries (also frozen) meant for sharing, but there wasn't enough room for any on my plate. As a result, I had to serve myself directly from the dish as I took my bites! Another person ordered a small carafe of white wine: the carafe arrived nice and cold, but the wine was lukewarm. We asked for an ice bucket to chill it, and he retorted that the carafe was already chilled, again without a word of apology. Please understand, sir, that if the carafe was put in the fridge 10 minutes beforehand, it's normal that the wine inside isn't yet chilled!! Another point: the toilets on the first floor are outdated; use the ones on the ground floor instead, assuming there are any there at all. I was a guest, so I didn't say anything at the time, but I'm saying it here (which is completely out of character for me; I would have much preferred to have a pleasant experience and leave a positive review): I will never set foot in that place again! It's time to seriously review the reception and customer service!!

22/09/2025: Disappointed with this Wistub we had known a long time ago. Nothing like it anymore. One dish and we left. A pie for me that looked more like a Lorraine pâté, and I went into the business. A lot of young people walking through shirtless with spirits in their hands.

27/12/2025: We had a wonderful time at our Christmas Eve dinner. The welcome was exceptional. The waitress was incredibly kind, her wine recommendations were impeccable, and the quality and freshness of the ingredients were perfect. There's absolutely nothing to criticize. The dishes are prepared right before your eyes by the chef, who clearly loves his work. A lovely little touch upon arrival (a box of chocolates) was a delightful surprise. We drove an hour and a half to spend this unforgettable romantic evening together, and we will be back as soon as possible.

13/09/2025: We arrived at 8 p.m. and were turned away from the three-quarters empty dining room, on the pretext that there was nothing left in the kitchen! A Saturday night! Better to go sell bracelets on the beach!
