05/01/2026: A traditional restaurant with a refined ambiance and a pleasant atmosphere. Extremely kind and attentive staff. Tasty and well-prepared traditional Alsatian dishes. Convenient location, close to the city center. Reservations recommended, especially during peak hours.

03/01/2026: The location is beautiful and ideally situated at the entrance to Colmar's pedestrian zone and opposite the Unterlinden Museum. In this beautifully decorated old Alsatian house, you'll find a very pleasant atmosphere, spread across several dining rooms. The service is very quick and aims to be courteous, but seems rather overly familiar, even rushed. The selection is limited, the prices are reasonable, but it's far from fine dining. It's not a tourist trap either, but it's still quite average. The upside is that they can only improve.

13/02/2026: Review of the restaurant only. An experience that did not live up to our expectations. The setting is very pretty, the restaurant itself is beautiful and minimalist. The service was average. The meal was generally acceptable but far from living up to the setting. Foie gras served with a Harris-style white bread… Not very professional for a restaurant, or perhaps a sign of poor quality. The cordon bleu was very average, not bad, to say the least. In short, the prices are in line with the quality of the menu, but the overall experience doesn't match the setting, which is quite nice.

21/02/2026: A truly wonderful place for lovers of fine wine and authentic cuisine. The dishes are excellent, the menu superb, and the front-of-house staff very professional: warm, attentive, and readily available. No complaints whatsoever. However… the owner. How to put it without being too blunt? It's simple: as cold as an industrial freezer and as welcoming as a closed door. No smiles, no interaction, no eye contact—and above all, no apparent desire to share his impressive wine cellar. Ask him a question, and you'll get a desert weather report: dry, harsh, and utterly devoid of nuance. So yes, a very good restaurant, beautifully presented dishes, a remarkable menu, a fantastic team… but an owner best avoided if you want to preserve your good mood and your experience.

06/03/2026: Now this I did not expect at this budget. Gorgeous place! Simple and great. The menu straight forward with one option, that of the day. Ours was a juicy, nicely grilled steak with a piece of bone marrow, and some potatoes. Maybe a bit light on the salad with just a leaf of parsley. Portions, huge! Could barely eat it all. Very quick and friendly service. Can't recommend more... Thank you for a great evening even if we could not stay very long.
