23/05/2026: Avoid at all costs! If you want to have dinner at 8:40 pm, they tell you it's no later than that! The last time we came, there was nobody there, and this time they were obviously very happy that we were coming to this establishment! What a shame.

22/07/2026: I've known this restaurant for years and am surprised I haven't left a review yet... I love this place; the terrace is lovely, the interior is a bit rustic (just the way I like it), and the food is excellent. The menu doesn't offer TOO many choices, and the dishes they do offer are delicious. Even I, who am a picky eater, always find something to enjoy after hesitating between several options. Finally, the welcome and service are top-notch! Enjoy your meal!

31/07/2026: A huge thank you to the team at Gîtes Terre de Sapins. We had a very pleasant stay in this idyllic setting. The team was very attentive, and the cottages were spacious and clean. I highly recommend it!

21/07/2026: Hello We made a quick stop at Philippe's today, and let's just say we don't plan on returning. While the welcome from a young man was quite pleasant, an older waitress became rather unpleasant after we asked two questions. The first was: what does "IRL" mean next to "steak haché" (minced steak), and the second was about the possibility of removing the tomato from the burger due to an allergy. Her response was somewhat aggressive. Although it was extremely busy, I think a minimum of courtesy and politeness is necessary. As for the food, we ordered a warm goat cheese salad, which was swimming in sauce (tasting of water, not vinaigrette) with an excessive amount of garlic. The only positive point was the warm goat cheese toast (but it was cold...). The dessert was good nonetheless... but it didn't redeem the meal.

25/06/2026: A very warm welcome! We arrived unexpectedly. I enjoyed a delicious Grimbergen beer there, which I unfortunately couldn't find in stores. After a long drive... this little stop on the terrace was much appreciated! Thank you!

27/05/2026: Regarding the restaurant. We regularly have lunch at this establishment for work. Whether it's the set menu or à la carte, I've never been disappointed, and the staff is friendly and responsive. I really appreciate the cloth napkins, and the restaurant is air-conditioned, which makes it easy to relax during the lunch break. See you soon.

25/05/2026: A very warm welcome with a friendly accent. Room 14 was magnificent, both clean and spacious, with a balcony and an ashtray. We enjoyed aperitifs on the two terraces, one overlooking the street and facing the parking lot, and the other overlooking the interior terrace next to the pool. The meal was excellent, with impeccable quantity and quality. The staff were very pleasant and attentive, and the breakfast was superb! I highly recommend it! One thing is certain: we will be back.

10/06/2026: Good traditional Alsatian cuisine. Attentive service. I really enjoyed the sauerkraut. Be aware of the smell in the entrance coming from the downstairs restrooms. Perhaps a door would be helpful?

05/06/2026: Very nice and friendly, but slightly old hotel, the room was decent, with a brand new toilet. The reception was super kind and helpful, the localisation perfect just next to the old centre. A super nice surprise for us was the great hotel restaurant, which was really crowded in the evening both by hotel guests and people from the outside. The breakfast was tasty, rich and made of quality products. Fully recommend 😊

31/05/2026: We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Italy. The car could charge overnight (book in advance). We also booked dinner in advance and had a delicious meal. Breakfast is also well catered for. We had the standard room 5 times; it was very clean and had nice new bathrooms.

15/01/2026: Excellent experience at Hoto. Passing through Mulhouse, I was looking for a quick bite. I definitely don't regret going to Hoto. Very friendly welcome, a wide selection of dishes, and excellent food. I'll be back on my next trip to Mulhouse.

27/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An authentic address you absolutely must discover! The Auberge du Diefenbach is a true gem nestled deep in an Alsatian valley. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with a warmth and simplicity that are becoming increasingly rare. Jean-Claude, the owner, is an extraordinary character. A car mechanic with a passion for classic cars, he also runs his own sawmill, delivers wood to the surrounding villages, and pilots autogyros and small planes... yet he still finds the energy to liven up his inn every Sunday, transforming it into a dance hall for seniors! At the keyboard and with his singing, he creates a convivial and infectious atmosphere, accompanied by his daughter, whose voice is remarkable. As for the food, the meals feature simple, generous, and delicious local specialties. The value for money is exceptional, both for Sunday lunch and dinner. The cottages are comfortable, very well-equipped, and impeccably maintained. Jean-Claude is always attentive to his guests' well-being. A freshly baked kugelhopf and an excellent bottle of Alsatian wine await you. A quality barbecue is available, as is a pleasant, tree-lined, and flower-filled terrace, perfect for relaxing. On some Saturdays, this terrace also hosts family gatherings in a warm atmosphere and a magnificent natural setting. We came to discover Alsace and found much more than just accommodation: a place to live, to meet others, and to experience authenticity. No need to travel hundreds of kilometers to feel the soul of Alsace; it's right here. An address we recommend without hesitation and where we will gladly return.

15/07/2026: I was there for a wedding and it's really huge, there's plenty of space, and it's in the middle of the forest. Just one thing, but it doesn't even warrant taking away a star: the sign indicating arrival leads to two paths; take the one on the left.

03/01/2026: We made a last-minute reservation and got a table. We received a very warm welcome, the service was excellent and well-paced, and the owner had a friendly, witty remark and a genuine desire for quality. We ordered two set menus: starter, main course, and dessert, including gratinated scallops, sauerkraut, and trout, followed by a sorbet with a generous splash of liqueur and a chestnut tart. The large dining room was beautifully decorated with ample space between the tables, creating a wonderfully intimate atmosphere. We have no regrets and will definitely return, especially since the menu changes regularly!
