15/01/2026: Excellent experience at Hoto. Passing through Mulhouse, I was looking for a quick bite. I definitely don't regret going to Hoto. Very friendly welcome, a wide selection of dishes, and excellent food. I'll be back on my next trip to Mulhouse.

19/04/2026: We've known this restaurant for ten years. We hadn't been for several years. In the past, we'd been very disappointed by the service. This time, we were pleasantly surprised by the improved service, which had been disappointing in the past. However, the value for money isn't there for the main courses on the menu. The truffles were really not good. The fish dish we chose was very pretty, but the taste was lacking. On the other hand, we loved the petit fours and the much more original appetizers.

12/04/2026: Given the restaurant's reputation, I was expecting something truly exceptional, but my experience at L’Atelier du Peintre was rather disappointing. The set menu choices were bold, and the dishes were decent. However, the service, particularly from the sommelier, wasn't up to the standard one would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The desserts, on the other hand, were excellent. Considering the price and the establishment's prestige, the experience fell short, even though it remains a very good restaurant.

27/04/2026: Pleasantly surprised! The meat was excellent, and my wife was equally delighted. The servers were attentive and very friendly, and the main dining room is magnificent and unique in Mulhouse.

The lunch menu is simply incredible: very generous portions, beautifully presented, and excellent value for money (around €19 for a starter, main course, and dessert). The food is delicious, plentiful, and prepared with care—you can tell the ingredients are fresh and expertly handled. The service is impeccable: warm, attentive, and quick without being rushed. A special mention goes to the lovely terrace, which offers a superb view of the surrounding countryside—a truly relaxing experience. It's a place where you feel comfortable, where the food is excellent, and where you'll want to return. I highly recommend it, especially for the lunch menu, which is a great deal. Well done to the whole team for this wonderful experience!
