29/12/2025: We discovered the restaurant "Les Racines" and it was a very pleasant surprise. It's a charming, intimate restaurant where the food is absolutely delicious. The dishes are simply exquisite, expertly prepared, flavorful, and made with great care. The welcome is very warm, attentive, and genuine. The staff truly take excellent care of their customers with kindness and professionalism, which greatly contributes to the overall experience. We had a wonderful, convivial, and delicious time, and we will cherish the memory of this restaurant. I highly recommend it without hesitation.

13/02/2026: We go there from time to time, always with pleasure; the dishes are delicious and made with seasonal ingredients. The service is impeccable and quick. We recommend this place and often bring friends who haven't been to this restaurant. The only downside is the parking, but it's worth the effort. Colmar and Le Chaudron are worth it. A great find for those who haven't been before.

15/01/2026: Excellent experience at Hoto. Passing through Mulhouse, I was looking for a quick bite. I definitely don't regret going to Hoto. Very friendly welcome, a wide selection of dishes, and excellent food. I'll be back on my next trip to Mulhouse.

17/12/2025: Review of the restaurant only. Weekday lunch. Generous portions, decent atmosphere and service, prices are average. Well-prepared and tasty Alsatian specialties. The beckaoffa and the bouchée à la reine are worth trying. Returned in early December 2025 for dinner. It's really good.

The decor was welcoming, the atmosphere calm, and the dishes were beautifully presented, original, and delicious. A team of staff worked in shifts to ensure no waiting. The experience would have been perfect with a few more smiles, although the speed and efficiency of the service were commendable. This won't deter us from returning, and we hope this aspect can be improved.

The cuisine is exquisitely refined, perfectly executed, with flavors that leave a lasting impression. The wine pairings were simply exceptional and perfectly complemented each course. A truly enjoyable gastronomic experience. We highly recommend this restaurant to lovers of fine dining. ☺️ Special mention also goes to the service, which exceeded our expectations!

A few but good things 1) Semi-cooked foie gras with sauerkraut jam...divine 10/10 2) Organic egg, mushrooms, garlic, cream 8/10 3) Citrus sorbet with liqueur 8/10 4) Cod, vegetable chips, quinoa with lobster sauce 7/10...Lacking in flavor despite the ingredients 5) Veal shoulder, morels, cream, dauphine potatoes, vegetables 8/10 (but much too creamy...again) 6) Pineapple, salted caramel ice cream.... garnishes 9/10 (overall exquisite taste) Wines: 4 decent glasses 7/10 I give the food an 8/10 Atmosphere 9/10 Two owners 9/10 Drawbacks: Too many creamy dishes...the last one becomes cloying Deep plates for almost all courses = needs improvement I will return because A very pleasant whole
