The restaurant's setting is truly lovely, and the service was excellent! A special thank you to Fanny for her recommendations and the quality of her service. We ordered the wrong coffee, and she exchanged it without any problem. We appreciated this thoughtful gesture and will definitely be back soon to try other dishes on the menu, which look very tempting. It was a pleasure to eat in this very friendly restaurant with its high-quality food. It's not a tourist trap; give it a try if you're ever in Chamonix!

15/05/2026: This review isn't about the food, which is excellent, but about everything else—and unfortunately, it ruins the whole experience. Upon arrival, we were told to leave at a specific time, even though several tables were available. This is quite surprising. During the meal, the pressure was constant: the servers stared at our plates, monitored our progress, and even communicated our progress through their earpieces. On several occasions, this became downright uncomfortable. The most unpleasant aspect was the reaction to our request for a doggy bag. The dish was very good, and I simply wanted to finish it at home. Although the request was granted, we were subjected to inappropriate remarks and a persistent, sarcastic attempt to discourage me from ordering dessert. I did order dessert—and I finished it, much to the disgruntled waiter's surprise :) Another point: some tables, with customers who were clearly wealthier than us, received very different treatment… My review is really about one waiter, whom I absolutely do not recommend and who ruined our service. The location is pleasant, as they're lucky enough to have a beautiful view, but the food is excellent, some of the best I've ever had. However, given the prices and the service, you'll get exactly the same experience at any competing restaurant. We now understand the bad reviews about this establishment.

06/08/2026: Exceptional!!! Recommended by C'est meilleur quand c'est bon. The staff is super friendly and the food is absolutely amazing!!! The potato fritters are completely addictive and the reblochonnade (served in a small wrought-iron grill) is excellent. The blueberry tart and the porcini mushroom dessert are a perfect way to end the meal. We'll be back. Well done to the team, they can be very proud.

06/08/2026: A wonderful discovery after watching the "It's Better When It's Good" video. Authentic cuisine. Delicious local products. Impeccable service. Superb atmosphere. The Reblochonnade is amazing. The doughnuts are to die for. The local cheeses are incredibly flavorful. And the desserts are excellent. A true delight! Bravo!

22/07/2026: This little village restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. The owner is so kind, the waitress is always smiling, and her husband's cooking is superb... the rösti are delicious and the daily specials are excellent. Good, fresh ingredients cooked with passion. I love it!!!! Thank you!!!

16/08/2026: The place is very nice for a drink; I had a butter and sugar crepe which was also very good. The prices are reasonable for a touristy area. A big thank you to Salomé, who was a fantastic waitress, always cheerful and smiling. She took the time to take our picture and was very professional when taking our payment, keeping a smile on her face and her head held high even though her colleague was yelling at her and putting pressure on her in front of the other customers for a small mistake she had made. Well done, Salomé, and thank you again for your hospitality! 🫶🏻

13/08/2026: The decor is great, the place is pleasant, but when we ordered our fondue, we were shocked to find the bread we were served was moldy (photo attached). After discovering this, we called the waitress back to point out that the bread was moldy. Her reaction was far from professional; she replied dismissively, "Oh really? How so?" She didn't apologize and ended up replacing the bread. These things happen, but the least one could do is apologize. The service was also a bit slow considering the small number of customers. Aside from that, the person who took our payment was extremely professional and pleasant, and she apologized on behalf of the staff.

06/08/2026: We arrived without a reservation and were warmly welcomed by a friendly waitress. I highly recommend the carpaccio, which is available as a starter or a main course. The presentation was beautiful and the dish was delicious! 🤩

The welcome is professional, the staff very friendly and attentive, the dishes are generous and of high quality, and the restaurant is dog-friendly – ​​everything you need for a wonderful time.
