The chef's cuisine is excellent: flavorful dishes, beautifully presented and made with quality ingredients. The breakfast is simply exceptional, varied and generous, perfect for starting the day right. The bedding is comfortable and high-quality, ideal for relaxing after an active day. Special mention goes to the absolutely magnificent view of Mont Blanc, which truly enhances the experience. A place I highly recommend for a pleasant stay and to enjoy the nearby ski slopes.

23/09/2025: We've made a habit of eating here every time we visit Megève, both summer and winter. A beautiful charcuterie board and unlimited potato pancakes. Local cheese platter with a choice of aged cheeses. Delicious local desserts such as fromage blanc... An unmissable place!

22/11/2025: My partner and I stumbled into this restaurant by chance. The atmosphere was very friendly. The customers chatted amongst themselves, just like at home. A unique place, seemingly untouched by time. It felt like the clock had stopped in the 1960s or 70s, just like at Grandma's house 👵 An amazing lady waitress for her age. The meals were generous and delicious 😋 The floating island dessert was divine. I highly recommend this restaurant.

08/11/2025: It’s all about the simple things in life: the short hike up the mountain, the beautiful setting and sweeping views, our dog running across the hills with the kids, and the crunch of warm potato beignets with eggs and Beaufort.

18/09/2025: We loved eating at the Herney mountain pasture. Everything was magnificent: the walk to get there, the environment, the quality of the food as well as the breathtaking view of Mont Blanc! We would do it again!

The owners went out of their way to help accommodate the group, and the stay was more than adequate The place is clean and maintained to a very high standard, even for a prestigious area. The kitchen was converted to a kosher kitchen despite all the requirements, and the food and cooking were done on site for the entire weekend, including Shabbat Highly recommend

08/02/2026: A huge thank you for this express service! Upon arriving in Le Grand-Bornand, I realized at the last minute that the lens insert in my ski goggles wasn't prescription. Despite my call the day before and the very short notice, everything was handled with remarkable kindness and professionalism. Using my prescription, a solution was found immediately: the lenses were ordered, received within 24 hours, and fitted to the insert very quickly. All this with perfect follow-up and a truly warm welcome. Thanks to this responsiveness and efficiency, I was able to ski in excellent conditions. A lovely, attentive, and incredibly efficient optician: I highly recommend her!

13/02/2026: I came because of the many positive reviews, so I had high expectations. The service was pleasant, no complaints there. The foie gras appetizer was truly excellent—perfectly cooked and seasoned. However, the rest of the meal was a huge disappointment: the morel fondue was really nothing special, nothing memorable. The bread was too fresh and crumbled in the fondue, the flavor wasn't pronounced enough, and the morels had a mushy texture (perhaps they were dehydrated?). I finished with a chocolate mousse advertised as THE chocolate mousse, but personally, I found it very average. In short: apart from the foie gras, the rest of the meal was quite ordinary. A shame, because with such positive reviews, I expected much better.
