12/04/2026: Great place to finish the day listening to live music and drinking local beers and wines. Sufficient space for a table or a deck chair to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. Queue was slightly long for the bar but it is to be expected with a popular place like this, which there are not many of in Flaine.

11/04/2026: For a touristy spot right on the ski slopes, the food is consistently excellent and beautifully presented. The welcome is very warm. It's our favorite restaurant in the Grand Massif.

02/03/2026: What can I say... the restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's fantastic! We'll definitely be back. We received a very warm welcome despite our late arrival (we arrived at 1:45 pm, even though service ended at 2 pm). The pizzas are excellent and generously topped, and the desserts are a real treat. The service was perfect: friendly, efficient, thank you for a wonderful experience. And the prices are very reasonable.

07/04/2026: We have been twice when skiing in Flaine. Love this place, cosy and welcoming and great local mountain dishes. Fabulous service, they collected us from our apartment and took us home. Fairly pricey but worth it as a treat.

30/03/2026: The hotel is perfectly located at the foot of the slopes, with a friendly and very welcoming staff. The view of Mont Blanc from the breakfast room is magnificent. We had an excellent stay thanks to the team and the thoughtful touches in our room (pastries, water, toiletries, etc.). We will gladly return!

30/03/2026: Where to start? Is a great location the reason why everything else has to be so horrible? Reception has a hard time speaking English so they just hang up on you when you are trying to get information. Twice. Once when we were trying to get a code for the parking. You book an extra bed for your child and when you arrive it isn't ready. Then when it comes, it is broken and it takes hours to replace. Breakfast is simply sad, really. The room is old not in a good way. Carpeted with ancient smells.. THe flip flops for the sauna are reusable. Seems like hotel management is trying to save money on the smallest things. The shower on the bathroom is awful. A small amount of water comes out of it. For the price we paid, this is most likely the worst place we have ever stayed at.

02/04/2026: Delicious crepes. Reasonably priced. Great views. Really impressed by the customer service. The waitress remembered everyone's order (group of 8) and the proprietor came to check that we had enjoyed everything. We hadn't realised that we had stayed beyond closing time, but they did not hurry us out. We were made to feel very welcome.

16/04/2026: A huge favorite ❤️ L’Auberge Ensoleillée in Peillonex is simply exceptional! The place is incredible, warm and welcoming, and you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The dishes are traditional, incredibly generous, and delicious—real, hearty, and authentic cuisine just the way we like it. Olivier and Nicolas, the owners, are wonderful people, exceptionally kind and generous. And what can I say about Charlène and Peter… perfect, attentive service, always with a smile. You're pampered from beginning to end! A must-visit, where you'll only have one desire: to return very soon. Highly recommended without hesitation.

15/04/2026: Hello, I've been a resident of Peillonnex for a year now. What a wonderful surprise our sunny inn and its team were! I come to eat here regularly, even more so my wife 😋. We're always warmly welcomed. Thank you to Olivier, Nico, and Peter, our three musketeers, for bringing this place to life. The food is simple, fresh, and delicious, but above all, thank you for all the themed evenings, especially last Saturday's Women's Show. I highly recommend this place; you'll never receive a warmer welcome than at the sunny inn with this team 🌞

26/03/2026: We were disappointed. The main course was meager, there wasn't even a local beer, and the desserts were incredibly basic: fromage blanc, crepes, ice cream, and a chocolate fondant for €9.50. This isn't home cooking, for goodness' sake! The dining room is pleasant, but it's difficult to do everything yourself, from the welcome to the service and the cooking, while using high-quality, carefully selected ingredients. It's better to look for another restaurant. What a shame...

22/03/2026: Everything was a delight! We commend the waiter for his dedication in managing everything single-handedly and in such a relaxed manner. We were taken care of immediately, served promptly, and even learned the story behind the traditional Berthoud, which I highly recommend. The 5 stars are well deserved for the food, service, and atmosphere. Moreover, the prices are reasonable. Bravo! 👏🏼

17/01/2026: Passing through the area, we stopped for dinner at the inn. We ordered two chicken escalopes with Reblochon cheese and fries, two Monaco chocolates, and a crème brûlée. The escalopes were very tender, the Reblochon sauce was full of flavor, and dipping the fries in it was a real treat. The crème brûlée was light, perfect for finishing the meal without feeling heavy. The manager is welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Thank you for this delicious meal, all the best! 😌

22/03/2026: It absolutely astounds me to see the awful videos and photos of these poor cows imprisoned in stalls and allowed no movement whatsoever, yet people ❤️ & like them! Perhaps the ❤️’s & Likers should spend the winter season with that nasty metal frame around their neck while chained to guarantee no movement. And yes I know this is due to snow outside & the cows can’t graze. No need to keep them locked up like that though, how about a barn they could at least move around in???? Response to reply below. I was giving 1 star to the way the cows are tethered up in those metal neck harnesses. I’ve now upped it to 3 in response to your comment. I know a fair bit about how farming works, grew up in Cornwall and had a lot to do with farms, mostly dairy. As for giving 1 star I give what I feel, you can see my reviews and I’ve never seen a business promoting itself with photos & videos of cows locked up like this, so I haven’t given any other mountain farms 1 star, yet. Where I grew up the cows were not locked up like this! I know this is common practice in these environments but it doesn’t have to be. You point out they are outside May-October so that’s 6 months chained up like the photo & video then, unless I am missing something. As for the excuse why they can’t move around, you’ve answered it yourself, “cost of the buildings” so the cows endure 6 months locked up like this so the costs are kept down, exactly my point. But as I wrote, I have upped the stars. I hope you can take on board that these cows are living creatures, have done no wrong but the system feels it is perfectly acceptable to imprison them like this……. To save money🤐

08/03/2026: We stopped at this small restaurant after visiting the Mer de Glace glacier; the value for money was excellent, the portions were generous. No complaints at all!
