18/02/2026: We ordered a cheese fondue that had a strong garlic taste, and it wasn't mentioned on the menu that the fondue contained so much garlic. A friend has an allergy, and we asked to change it, but the waitress refused and was rude, as if we were supposed to know. We ordered another dish because she wouldn't change the fondue. In the end, she wanted to charge us for all the dishes. We found the food to be of poor quality.

07/02/2026: L'Alpin is a lovely place, even though Annecy's historic center is full of restaurants; this one is highly recommended. It has a chalet-like atmosphere, all wood, even a touch of a Nordic cabin 😉 All the Savoyard specialties are on the menu and prepared to order. Our table of four enjoyed four different set menus...

26/01/2026: A very pleasant surprise during our visit to Annecy! We stopped by and weren't disappointed. The welcome was warm and the atmosphere was great. We shared a starter of rillettes, a delicious discovery! The tartiflette and crème brûlée were also excellent. I highly recommend it; don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.

02/03/2026: The place is still as unique as ever, but it's unacceptable to leave a table with several children screaming uncontrollably throughout the meal. No one from the establishment intervened with the parents. We left without ordering dessert or drinks. What a ruined evening… there are other places in Chamonix.

Its seven-course menu transported us to India, with subtle flavors, delicate aromas, and high-quality, seasonal dishes (scallops, sweetbreads) featuring winter vegetables. Everything was homemade, and our palates were delighted. We opted for the wine pairing, which also offered surprising discoveries in perfect harmony with the beautiful cuisine created by the chef, a self-taught individual passionate about his craft. Who would have guessed that such a gem lay hidden behind this Savoyard inn? We will certainly return, as we live less than 20 minutes away. The service was efficient and professional. Thank you for this lovely and delicious evening.

18/02/2026: Review of the ARUDHA restaurant: I don't usually post negative reviews, but given the restaurant's self-proclaimed fine dining positioning and the price of the bill, I feel it's important to share our experience. We arrived on a Tuesday evening during the height of winter and school holidays. The restaurant was empty, which surprised us. The welcome was rather disconcerting. We were served hot towels on wooden stands that gave off a strong smell of rancid cheese, hardly in keeping with the expected atmosphere of a fine dining establishment. Chef Hugo (who was also working in the dining room that evening) was accompanied by a waitress who was clearly in training. Unfortunately, she had a strong body odor, which immediately created a sense of unease. In a high-end restaurant, hygiene and presentation are fundamental. All the menus are offered "blind." We chose the four-course menu at €95 per person. Unfortunately, we were not convinced by the culinary experience. The flavor combinations struck us as confusing, lacking any real coherence or clear message. The dishes didn't showcase any premium ingredients, and the overall experience lacked depth, both in terms of taste and technique. Another concerning point: at no point before the start of service were we asked about any allergies or dietary restrictions. For a fine-dining establishment offering a set menu, this is surprising, to say the least, and even problematic. The music, consisting of a single track played on a loop throughout the meal, eventually became tiresome and unpleasant. At the end of the meal, we could have spoken directly with the staff. However, given the experience, we preferred to take a step back, process the situation, and offer thoughtful and constructive feedback, rather than react impulsively. In the end, the bill came to €475 for four people. At this price point, expectations are reasonable. However, the overall experience (reception, atmosphere, perceived hygiene, food) was clearly not commensurate with the price charged. We left feeling very disappointed. As it stands, we would not recommend this establishment.

21/02/2026: A very nice crêperie with a mountain view. The savory galette was delicious, and the salted caramel crêpe was divine! I've never eaten such a good crêpe! The staff was very welcoming! Thank you for this meal. Sincerely

15/02/2026: We had three sweet crepes there. The attention to detail in the presentation, the reasonable price, the very friendly service, and the delicious crepes were all excellent. (The whipped cream is homemade and absolutely divine!) In short, a place I highly recommend.

10/02/2026: This isn't my first time eating at this inn. I'm not from around here, but I've been stopping by regularly for about a year and a half. I must admit, I always enjoy the appetizers: no matter which ones I choose, they're consistently very good, truly excellent. On the other hand, I'm almost always disappointed by the main courses. The dishes are often bland considering the price, and the sauces frequently lack flavor. Are you sure you have a professional chef in the kitchen? This is the second time I've had a tartiflette swimming in cream. I also tried the Savoyard chicken, and the problem was the same. The meat sauces, like the one for the beef bourguignon, smell of cooked blood. The garnishes are sparse and, honestly, not good. Conversely, the desserts are very good. I tasted an apple fondant that was pure bliss. So tell me, how is it possible to have starters and desserts worthy of gourmet restaurants, and main courses that are so disappointing? This really needs to be reviewed.
