25/01/2026: Living in Annecy, this is one of my favorite restaurants. Two things keep me coming back: the ambiance and the style of cuisine. It's typically French cuisine, with remarkable consistency and regularity. From the welcome to dessert, everything is always impeccable, and you feel right at home. The menu features renowned dishes that have built the restaurant's reputation—and it works perfectly. And above all, the finishing touch: a pastry chef who creates incredibly delicious desserts. Be sure to save room for dessert; it's truly worth it! I've been coming here for a long time, and I'd never taken the time to leave a review before… well, now I have. Go without hesitation if you appreciate quality cuisine that's generous and welcoming.

04/03/2026: We came as a family to the restaurant Le Vieux Four to share a raclette, and the experience was more than disappointing. The cheese simply wouldn't melt and only formed into little cheese cakes. We repeatedly asked the waiter why it wasn't melting despite the raclette grill being very hot, and even asked if the cheese was pasteurized. After several trips back and forth, he finally returned to confirm that the cheese was indeed pasteurized! For a restaurant in the Hautes-Alpes region! The owner then came to our table to tell us that they had been serving pasteurized cheese for 20 years and that no one had ever complained, that it suited everyone perfectly. Except that, in this case, the cheese wasn't melting properly, making the raclette inedible! She made us out to be difficult customers who didn't understand anything. They removed the raclette grill from the table, which prevented us from finishing our meal. To "compensate," after a bit of a wait to find out what they were going to offer us, they suggested another dish. We accepted, but again, huge disappointment: the Berthous, a Savoyard specialty, also had a compact "pancake" texture with only the taste of garlic... Frankly, just as bad!!! In the end, a ruined meal, a ruined evening, a deplorable attitude, and no real attempt at self-reflection. We left very disappointed and with the feeling of not having been taken seriously. What's certain is that we will never return, far preferring the Fleur de Neige restaurant, which is excellent!!!!

22/02/2026: What can I say... the restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's fantastic! We'll definitely be back. We received a very warm welcome despite our late arrival (we arrived at 1:45 pm, even though service ended at 2 pm). The pizzas are excellent and generously topped, and the desserts are a real treat. The service was perfect: friendly, efficient, thank you for a wonderful experience. And the prices are very reasonable.

23/02/2026: For my partner's birthday, I decided to surprise him with a weekend in Chamonix. We received a very warm welcome from the hotel staff, and all our requests were taken care of. Overall, a good experience. The hotel is very well located. One small negative point: the hotel restaurant.

11/03/2026: Absolutely filthy! Avoid at all costs! The level of filth in this establishment is unbelievable. Food waste is strewn across the floor from the moment you enter. Despite this, we stayed for a coffee. It's as if the owners of this place have absolutely no regard for even the most basic food hygiene standards. We strongly advise against this establishment, despite its excellent location. What a shame!

16/02/2026: A very unpleasant experience. In the midst of heavy snowfall and powder on the slopes, with snow everywhere, we were repeatedly asked to tap our shoes before entering, even with a 4-year-old child. And when we simply asked if we could have a crêpe at 10:30 am in a crêperie, we were told it was "not certain." A truly unwelcoming reception. Very disappointing.

04/02/2026: For two years we've stayed in the chalets; the welcome was fantastic, and the accommodation was always clean and ready for sleeping. We'll be back next year! I highly recommend it.

28/01/2026: Everything went very smoothly, from the warm welcome on arrival to the key handover on departure. The Belle Fleurie apartment was ideal for us, as we were traveling as a couple with our dog. Although relatively small, it offers ample storage space for skis, boots, etc., in the entryway. For other clothing, there are several closets and a wardrobe. The apartment is in excellent condition. We highly recommend it.

10/02/2026: The setting is magnificent, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the service truly top-notch: welcoming, friendly, and very attentive from beginning to end. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and made with high-quality ingredients. You can feel the attention to detail, both on the plate and in the overall experience. A truly wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend if you're visiting Chamonix. We will definitely be back!

03/02/2026: I was so happy with my visit, the fondue was delicious!! My friend accidentally ordered the small vacherin without realizing it was cheese, but the waiter was very kind and offered a small platter of charcuterie to make up for it. Thank you to the waiter! ☺️

16/02/2026: We come to this restaurant every year and it's always a pleasure to return. The smoked raclette is simply excellent, a real favorite that we eagerly anticipate each season. The staff has also always done their best to find us a table, even when the restaurant is full, which we greatly appreciate. Unfortunately, the experience is regularly marred by the attitude of a waitress (light brown hair and glasses), whom we've encountered several times during our visits in recent years, and who is unwelcoming and rarely smiles. She can even be quite haughty. We hope this feedback will be helpful, as the restaurant deserves much better in terms of service, which should reflect the quality of the food.
