31/07/2026: We'd been wanting to try Marie-Jo's cooking for ages, and it took the Hostel being closed due to rockfalls for us to finally discover it at the Wood Café. The welcome was very friendly, the menu small but appetizing, and we tried the chicken burger and the halloumi, which we absolutely loved. They were bursting with aromas and flavors, a generous portion with fries and salad, and just enough room for a delicious cheesecake. We'll be back!!

From the warm welcome and service to the delicious food, the setting, and the spacious terrace… everything is perfect for a wonderful time with family or friends. This meal is an ode to culinary travel and an adventure recounted by the chef. A multitude of anecdotes make this meal a truly special moment. The experience is a must if you have the desire and the patience. The only downside of the evening was the car breaking down in the parking lot, but the chef's good humor ensured we had a wonderful time.

03/05/2026: It's an unusual experience. Here, you don't come specifically for the decor, but rather for the ingredients sourced from producers around the world and cooked on the stovetop. The ingredients are high-quality, well-prepared, and perfectly seasoned. The service is well-orchestrated by two people, including the chef. The chef's rapid-fire delivery is interesting, but it's hard to take it all in. I was pleasantly surprised by the discovery of the sensations and flavors offered by the different herbs the chef invites us to consume between bites—it's truly surprising! The wines are very good, and Éric Favre is very friendly.

31/05/2026: They refuse service to single people. The waitress very skillfully brushes me off, telling me the restaurant is full; it must be noon, there's only a family of four having drinks on the empty terrace. I naively insist, explaining that a small table in a corner inside doesn't bother me; I'm just passing through on a motorcycle ride. The waitress calls the owner, who refuses me a second time. Not a single customer has walked through the door since.

16/03/2026: A nice spot to take a break between runs. The food is good, the terrace is often sunny, the service is quite friendly, and the prices are reasonable.
