20/09/2024: Great pizza, more North American style than others we had in Chamonix.

05/09/2024: Good pizzas, good price, the service is self service, they do good empanadas, I loved the carne empanada! A lot of bees around but it's something normal at Chamonix.

22/10/2024: Very good vacation! Warm welcome. The quality of the meals was there. TOP desserts. Ideal location for going skiing (Shuttle right at the entrance to the hotel). Very pleasant moment THANK YOU :)

13/09/2024: Had an amazing meal with a beautiful view of Lake Annecy. The service was impeccable with friendly, outgoing servers. The food was delicious. Will definitely come back if in the area.

The welcome is very good, the location too, in the heart of the center, the food nothing to say, the same for the service, very pleasant with Elise our waitress and then the must are the generous quantities especially for the menus which are generally reduced but then not at all and prices more than reasonable. Well done, we don't understand the bad reviews. Absolutely worth testing

06/01/2025: Fantastic gem of a hotel in stunning surroundings. Arrived 1st week Jan to plenty of snow. 90min taxi transfer from Geneva. Rooms are basic but great - quiet location, comfy beds, hot shower, adjustable radiator, balcony overlooking L'etale ski lift. Lovely continental buffet breakfast and evening meals available, fabulous burgers. 2 ski lifts right next to hotel - U'fredy beginners slope and L'etale for intermediates. Ski storage room available. Very reliable bus service outside hotel (bus no.6) to go to La Clusaz town. Ski hire shop 500m walk or 1 stop on the bus. There is an automated kiosk by the bus stop you can collect your pre-booked lift passes. Would highly recommended this family friendly hotel and staff were very helpful.

04/01/2025: Very well located hotel, magnificent view! Free shuttle to the center of La Clusaz, a 2-minute walk away and parking right in front of the hotel. Friendly welcome and service, in a family environment. Very beautiful, practical room with a view of the slopes. Some oversights regarding cleanliness in the room.. Quiet hotel, ideal for resting and enjoying your vacation! Breakfast at the top: copious, and good quality products with lots of choice.

19/09/2024: I waited a few weeks to post this review. We took the chef's salad which is a meal salad but to our great surprise we had a small bowl with green salad, three cherry tomatoes cut into pieces, the same for the radishes and a crouton of bread with a slice of log melted goat cheese. Price 15 euros. I think there was €3.00 max in the bowl. Two desserts and a beer and a lemonade. 64 euros. The time to eat the salad is 5 minutes and a wait of an hour for dessert. I consider it a tourist trap being local. But what makes me laugh the most is the sign at the entrance here we take the time we enjoy and if you don't have cash there is fast food. Speaking of take-out meals: a Michelin-starred restaurant by the lake makes take-out meals: a salad that will make you cry. Bagnat ferra du lac bread, water, cake and coffee €62 for two. Your message protects you from customer comments... by sending them to fast food... which depending on the case is 1000000 times more plentiful, delicious and less expensive ;)

11/09/2025: Friendly waitress and nice salads, but fried fishes & veggie burger were tough to point of being almost inedible. Agree with other post about apparently overcooked (dark) chips, which at the same time seemed undercooked - possibly the worst frites I’ve had in France! Strange response from owner. I changed main course because it was due to be fried fishes, which had been my partner’s very poor starter & was relieved the last minute change was possible. I would suggest that instead of criticisng every negative review, they learn from the process & improve! Also, might be a good idea to ask why somebody has not eaten most of their meal.

28/06/2025: Such delicious food and cute ambiance!! The manager we interacted with was sooo kind and funny and it was a great date night!
