21/05/2026: Their service is excellent and they are very cheerful. They have various types of jams, cheeses, and other items that would make good gifts.

20/04/2026: A very good experience at this shop. We went there several times during our stay. The staff (a young man and the manager) were always welcoming and friendly. They even gave our children little treats (a few sweets on the way out). A wide selection of Savoyard and Swiss products. You can sample the charcuterie, and when you ask for advice, the staff are always happy to explain. I didn't find the prices excessive! We stocked up before leaving... but I'll be back. A nice touch: the anti-waste initiative at the end of the shop! A great idea to combat food waste! The option to order online is also a fantastic idea. And finally, their sausage is a gold medal winner in 2025.

27/07/2026: Absolutely perfect from start to finish. The meats were cooked to perfection, and what's more, they even had the Big Green Egg, the Japanese BBQ! The wines from Reynaud were incredibly affordable. The service was professional. In short, unbeatable value for money.

15/07/2026: A tourist trap from start to finish. The waiter was very pushy, even overly familiar, forgetting that we were customers and not his friends. The other staff were impolite when bringing us our food. And above all, the food was very disappointing. We thought we'd have a nice time in a pretty place, but in the end, only the aesthetics were there. I don't recommend it.

10/08/2026: “The photos make you want to eat. The lake does the rest.” A very apt slogan, indeed: the photos make you want to eat, the lake is a distraction… It’s a shame that the reality on the plate is far less photogenic than on the website. We ordered beef tartare and salmon tartare. Unfortunately, neither dish impressed us. The beef tartare was particularly bland and completely lacking in flavor. As for the salmon tartare, it was far too lemony and far too spicy, to the point of completely throwing off the flavors. We could perhaps have overlooked these taste issues, but the presentation of the dishes was the biggest disappointment. The dishes were presented in a very basic way, as if made with a simple old cookie cutter, without any decoration or particular care on the plate. Visually, it was really unappetizing and far from what one would expect given the establishment’s standing and setting. We ultimately skipped dessert and opted for a drink downstairs by the beach, which was thankfully much more pleasant. The real problem, however, was the bill, far too high considering the quality of the food and the service. At that price point, we clearly expected a more impressive culinary experience. It's a real shame, because the setting is magnificent and had everything we needed for a wonderful time. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

25/07/2026: We came for a duo of Arctic char and fera (a type of whitefish) and were drawn to this restaurant. While the dish was tasty, the real problem lay elsewhere: poor timing, terrible service, no follow-up on orders, and a complete lack of friendliness, not to mention the absence of a dedicated server for any particular section. A mediocre experience from start to finish. What's more, we barely had time to finish our aperitifs before the hot main course was thrust in front of us! Not to mention the lack of bread for the sauce (while all the other tables received it), and our wine and water order was forgotten, but "miraculously" remained on the final bill (which I had corrected). The dessert menu was presented, and then we conveniently forgot about our status as customers, despite our patience. Tired of waiting in the face of such nonchalance, after a long while, we cut our meal short and had dessert elsewhere. What a shame!

18/08/2026: Nice place, competitive price, and one of the few bars/restaurants in Morzine that offers a Happy Hour for 25cl beers instead of pints. The service was good, the welcome friendly, I recommend it.

09/08/2026: A wonderful time spent with friends at Le Tyrolien! The meal was simply perfect from start to finish. A huge thank you to the whole team for the warm welcome and to the chef for delighting our taste buds. Bravo for the pizzas, the tuna tataki, and the desserts. We will definitely be back!

26/07/2026: As a regular customer, I came last night (Saturday, July 25th). The food was very good, no complaints there, a real treat. However, the service definitely needs improvement. The waitress was not at all pleasant; her basic customer service skills, including politeness and a smile, need to be reviewed. Furthermore, the raclette machines were stored behind our table, which resulted in constant back-and-forth trips by the servers. We ordered two raclettes for two people (four people total). We did have two raclette machines on our table, but the waitress only used one, claiming it was the only way to do it. This is the first time I've ever heard of such a thing! We waited so long for a carafe of water that we had to get up ourselves, and this happened several times. For the price we paid, I expected more consideration and not to be treated like a walking wallet. No after-dinner drink was offered, nor were we asked if we enjoyed our meal, which was a shame...

26/07/2026: We went there on Saturday, July 25th, and we were very disappointed. The food itself was very good, though. But in the middle of July, it was impossible to eat outside except for the owner's friends. Then, the waitress was a huge negative point for the restaurant and our experience. First of all, she didn't come to our table even once to ask if anything was missing or if everything was alright. We ordered a raclette for four, but we had to wait because she wouldn't let us cook it on two machines. Then we had to get up four times for water?! A table costing over €300 is really disappointing for a restaurant of this caliber. Very, very disappointed.

02/08/2026: We came here at the end of May to refresh ourselves with two iced coffees. Initially, we were taken aback by the somewhat chaotic service and rather disappointed by our drinks (too much ice, therefore too much water, and a tasteless coffee foam, nothing like the delicious Italian cafè freddi I had wanted my companion to try). But, for some reason, without having said a word, we were offered two enormous cups of Viennese coffee (apparently an order mistake), truly generous and delicious! So, despite a mixed first impression, we left delighted with this place, which is, all things considered, well located and staffed mostly by smiling and attentive people.

23/03/2026: A true inn in the heart of the mountains. An old farmhouse dating back to the early 1800s, it's simply magnificent, perched high above the valley with its terrace. The view is breathtaking. Inside, you'll find all the warmth and authenticity of a traditional wooden building. The upper floor is reserved for guest rooms. The rooms are cozy. Each room has its own bathroom. Animal hides are everywhere. In short, we were very comfortable. Even the staircase leading up to it takes you along a waterfall. In short, a little corner of the mountains that you won't forget.

30/07/2026: We visited this restaurant three times during our week-long vacation, and that's how much we enjoyed it! Each time, we had a wonderful meal: the dishes were delicious, generous, and prepared with care. The staff is incredibly kind, always smiling, welcoming, and attentive. An excellent restaurant that we highly recommend. Thank you to the entire team at L'Ourson for these wonderful moments!

Special mention for the tartiflette and truffle pasta, which are simply incredible 🤩 Remember to book by phone, as this place is very popular. Honestly, everything is delicious, a real gem! Not to mention the team, who are absolute gems (Jawad, Lina, Rachel)!

A huge congratulations to Chef Jawad, who offers delicious, generous, and flavorful dishes—you can truly taste the passion in every plate! And what can I say about the service… Lina is simply lovely, smiling, attentive, and caring from beginning to end. She greatly contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable. Between the quality of the food and the impeccable service, this is a place I wholeheartedly recommend. I can't wait to go back! 😍🍽️

08/06/2026: The positive: The food is excellent. No complaints about the quality of the dishes on the plate; they were truly delicious. It's a shame the overall experience was spoiled by the bizarre and disrespectful service. The negative: Service that reached the height of contempt. From the moment we arrived, we were looked down our noses at with blatant disdain by a man sitting on the terrace, who greeted us in a very haughty manner. Thinking he worked there, we asked him if we could still get a table (it was 8:15 pm). The man got up, went into the restaurant to ask the waiter... only for us to finally understand that he didn't even work there, but was just a friend of the waiter! The waiter then took over, equally disdainful, offering us a rather unfriendly "Okay, fine" as we were seated. The rest of the experience was a series of uncomfortable moments: The snobbish ordering: In addition to our main courses, we ordered two cocktails. When asked what we wanted to drink with our meal, we politely replied that the two cocktails (at €15 each, mind you) would suffice for now. The waiter's response, with a condescending look: "Ah, so a carafe of water..." A deplorable sense of customer service and hospitality. The "party with friends" atmosphere: While we were having drinks on the terrace, the staff seemed to have mistaken their workplace for a private club. Between the waiter's friends kissing, smooching, and touching each other in front of the other customers, and one of the waiter's so-called buddies calmly rolling a joint in full view of everyone on the terrace... we wondered where the professionalism had gone. We would, however, like to thank the young waitress who, unlike us, was pleasant and professional.
