16/09/2025: The place itself looks really nice and authentic, but the service is horrible. Even if it’s full and they don’t accepting orders for food and you just ask for a drink inside (just pour a drink in a glass, take money, and I would bring a glass by myself to the table) they would do anything except this and let you wait standing for half hour. Or maybe it’s because I’m not French😂

19/01/2025: Comme par hasard, les deux suggestions burger et tartiflette revisitée n'ont pas de prix sur la carte. C'est au moment de l'addition qu'on constate que ces mets sont facturés.....26 euros!!
Bref, pas mal l'arnaque. Evitez cet établissement!

Nous y avons dîné.
Aucune réservation pour cette soirée sauf la nôtre mais le restaurant a tenu à nous accueillir tout de même.
Le lieux est charmant, l'accueil chaleureux et la nourriture de très bonne qualité pour un prix raisonnable.
Il faisait nuit. Nous n'avons pas vu la vue mais je parirais qu'elle est superbe.

24/09/2024: Not bad but the waitresses are absolutely not attentive to orders. Since there was no other bakery in the area we went there 3 times and not once did we receive our complete order (either something was missing THAT WE HAD PAID FOR, or there were things we hadn't ordered) very unfortunate
17/09/2024: When I returned from vacation, I had some shamdwiches there. I recommend it.

Rated 1* in the Michelin Guide.
We spent New Year's Eve and had a great time from 7:30 p.m. to 12:15 a.m.
The service was pleasant and adapted to the evening.
The dishes are refined and the food/wine pairing was perfect.
A jazz orchestra accompanied this evening in a way that was a little too sonorous at times but pleasant nonetheless.
I recommend this establishment.
01/01/2025: There was a hair baked into the bread. When flagged to the manager her response was “[shrug] we don’t bake the bread in house”. Wine list arrived 20 mins after the starter (wine list was good, but
Trout and eel press wasn’t great and unimproved by a blue jelly topping. There was a great dish of beetroot. Arctic Char was tepid. Main course (pigeon pie) was so salty it was inedible. We left before dessert. Not sure if/how this place has a Michelin star. Bistro food with cafe service.

19/08/2024: Small hotel in a great location on the lake (which unfortunately makes parking quite complicated in the absence of the hotel's own parking lot), the room was OK and clean, the bed a little small.
You can go down for a drink or eat on the terrace which is quite nice.
The staff of the establishment seem to take care of the hotel and the bar/restaurant in an indiscriminate manner which can be annoying when you have to disturb them on duty for any question.

12/12/2024: Came by chance... The restaurant is aptly named because it is obvious to want to eat there: nice setting, excellent welcome and service, good quantities on the plate and really very good.
08/12/2024: A great time spent this Saturday for a family meal.

22/09/2024: Personnel très accueillant et arrangeant. Cuisine excellent qualité/prix tout est fait maison. Burgers délicieux je recommande fortement.
16/09/2024: Inconspicuous little restaurant right next to the suspension bridge. We discovered it by chance and reserved a table for the evening.
The dinner, beer, wine and dessert was simply amazing! We recommend the beef ribs with potato gratin! We'll be back.

17/09/2024: Great restaurant, delicious food: we ate the fondue which is really excellent. The staff takes great care, the setting is calm and cozy. Worthy of its backpacker and gault et millau awards.
We are already looking forward to coming back.

26/01/2025: I have insanely high standards when it comes to food. I grew up in a family of restauranteurs in the UK (my mum even won awards for hers) and I was impressed by the food here. So much so, we went twice. I’m totally confused by all the bad reviews, and probably this indicates that Le Dahu suffered a bad patch a couple of years ago, which can happen - to us all! The main thing is they have more than bounced back! The wine was great too and the champagne was super light and subtly fizzy. The service was very high standard too.
25/01/2025: Un lieu très beau et accueillant. Le personnel était très agréable nous avons passé un très bon moment.
On a très bien mangé , les glaces maison étaient excellentes . Merci
