21/06/2025: What a disappointment! In just one year, the establishment has clearly deteriorated. The food is no longer good, the salad isn't even washed... The waiters are overwhelmed with 4 tables, despite their good intentions. And to top it all off, excessively expensive given the quality of the products on the plate. The only positive point was the restrooms were clean. Nothing to do with the start of business in June 2024. We won't be back.

18/06/2025: Wow...what a great time! A beautiful terrace, a truly lovely and attentive staff, a magical little guitar and voice concert, and succulent mussels and fries. The recipe for happiness. Congratulations and best wishes to the team! Looking forward to seeing you again!

08/09/2024: Move on.... expensive for what you are served and which has no taste... especially the half-cooked tuna, frozen for too long perhaps....

05/09/2024: While visiting with family, we were “lucky” to be almost alone at the end of the season. Nothing to say, friendly welcome, cute place, top plates, I recommend!!

02/09/2024: Parfaitement bien situé. L’établissement possède des chambres, un restaurant, une brasserie /pizzeria. Une belle terrasse. Le personnel est accueillant. Le service se fait à votre rythme. La carte est donc fournie et vous y trouverez votre bonheur. Les pizzas sont excellentes et en quantité. Les prix sont raisonnables. Je recommande.

29/09/2024: We had coffee Saturday morning at La Potinière. The service was friendly and the place pleasant. We had two coffees, each costing €3.50. It's a bit excessive for a simple cafe, but maybe that's due to the touristy location. We also observed a customer ordering a fondue around midday. What surprised us was that during service, the handle for stirring the fondue was left in the fondue pot at the customer's house. In Switzerland, it's not done like that, but it was interesting to discover another way of doing things. A fun little cultural difference to observe.

26/09/2024: We stopped in for a late lunch early dinner on a rainy afternoon in Chamonix. I was attracted to the Menu du Marche, which consisted of Salade, Duck Confit and Tiramasu for 16 Euro! The food was delicious and we received fabulous service as we watched the rain. It was a great way to end our visit to Chamonix, which had turned on overcast but lovely weather until then rain.

28/06/2025: What a miserable attitude. Wanted a quick beer because it was 33 degrees and we were hot and tired. We were sent to the non dining tables (fair enough) except the only ones free were in the full heat of the sun. So we asked if we could have our drinks in a shaded area. No. Well can you please put up the umbrellas in the drinking area. No. They are broken. Then we noticed that there were people drinking right where we were talking, in the shade. They overheard and said we’re leaving, have our table. No you can’t said the waiter. They are for diners. Yet it was barely past 6pm and there were no diners. We said we’d be 10 minutes. Nope. Manager’s rule. This place will never see our custom and we cannot recommend it at all. Who knows, we may have enjoyed our drinks and stayed for dinner. Too many other places that have good service and treat people with kindness. Avoid this place.

21/06/2025: The service is bad, a lot of noise and the prices are way too expensive, there are better addresses in Annecy!! Never again

09/01/2025: At 1 p.m., we were turned away at the entrance because supposedly “the service was over!” ". At 1 p.m., if the shift is over, you have to change jobs! We've been coming for several years, we saw that it was gradually deteriorating, but apart from kebab and sandwiches, there is no restaurant nearby, fortunately for them, but unfortunately for us! This put an end to it, we won’t be coming back, that’s for sure!

31/08/2024: Pleasant place for lunch or simply to buy the farm's produce. Very welcoming staff.

29/08/2024: We visited the farm and we liked it. We sat on the terrace with magnificent sunshine to have a drink and an aperitif board. We also ate. The choices are simple and effective. Fair price. The plates are loaded with more room for dessert. The pleasant waitress. Finally we went through the store. The prices are good and this is how it’s done 😉 Beautiful day

19/01/2025: Located in a location with a magnificent view, this restaurant - which could stand a small renovation or the passage of a cleaning lady - offers ordinary canteen-style cuisine. Hamburgers (red meat despite an express request to cook the steak well) good but nothing more, homemade lemonade with an earthy taste, to be avoided. The staff is friendly but a little overwhelmed by the crowd.

08/10/2025: The service wasn't great, the staff were racist. The service was done properly if the customer's appearance was what I found disrespectful, not to mention the woman who wasn't friendly. The welcome was deplorable; we were alone in the restaurant and felt unwelcome. The food was cold, too salty, and we even found hair in our dishes. I'm someone who enjoys meeting friendly people and having a little interaction during a meal, laughing with the staff. If you want to have a bad time, feel uncomfortable and judged, and eat poorly, go there! I've been several times, but this will be the last.

08/10/2025: We have come to eat at this restaurant several times, but this will be the last time already to make a reservation. I tell her that there are 7 of us, the lady sighs on the phone, looks like she needs to see if she still has a table left. When we got there, we were the only ones in the restaurant, the welcome was deplorable, the lady who served us was very, very unfriendly and kept coming to ask us if we had finished our meal. Hot box, cheese, cold, hair in ALL salads, fries salted to death, peppery carrot puree. In any case, we were very poorly received in this restaurant, I do not recommend it at all.

13/09/2024: Best option for food on the way to Geneve near carryfour super market We can taste different varieties French foods... Spacious and good staffs...

13/09/2024: Good food great prices! They had a white sauce that went perfect with the dorade but lately they change it, only thing i dislike.

14/12/2024: Brewery in Annecy. Excellent service and welcome. As for the food, it’s a well-made Carr Brasserie. 9 small but tasty oysters. Salmon salad well served. The wines by the glass are perfect (white). A downside, the screens with NRJ12 which only provide background noise and attract the eye. Putting landscape images and soft lounge music would be better.

13/12/2024: Still very good as usual but the prices have increased, especially the mussels

19/11/2024: We were with my wife and a couple of friends to eat in the evening at the restaurant. The fairly expensive dishes were ok nothing more, it was very cold in the room - we all put on our jackets after a while - the heating was off - not normal in early November. Probably the first and last time... We only ate in the restaurant - so I can't say anything about the quality of the hotel

05/11/2024: Just magnificent room with raised bed to see the lake. The spa is just top notch, jacuzzi, hammam and sauna. Staff all kind and attentive. The city to visit is really pretty. Old stone, lake, atypical shop. Great weekend

26/09/2024: Good atmosphere for a ‘theme’ pub. Excellent Guinness and bitters. Didn’t eat

21/09/2024: Fast service with good beers and cocktails (even non-alcoholic ones)
