16/04/2026: We came for dinner, as we do every year, and I found the welcome was no longer as warm. We were served by a waiter who was unwelcoming and showed no empathy. Fortunately, the waitress was friendly and efficient.

26/03/2026: A cozy space with a typical Savoyard atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Regional dishes and others to suit all tastes, generous portions and delicious flavors. Excellent value for money. A great place to eat in La Clusaz.

04/04/2026: The service was disastrous. You have to fight to get the menu, place an order (and only receive part of it), and get up to pay, otherwise nothing happens, and there's absolutely no apology or gesture of goodwill. Our neighbors didn't have our patience and left. There are many other restaurants in Les Lindarets (Chaudron, La Terrasse) and elsewhere in the area that are much better!

26/05/2026: We were a couple with our dog for lunch. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient. We ordered steak tartare and a Caesar salad, both of which were delicious. There was also a good selection of beers. The atmosphere is lovely; you can relax, and the passersby provide some entertainment. We'd gladly come again!

24/05/2026: Appalling service Wanting to sit on the terrace with two strollers (there was plenty of space), we were greeted very rudely by a waitress who had a limp, and whom we were bothering because she "should go around serving the other (empty) tables." Clearly, we were inconveniencing this woman who must not have been able to tolerate strollers. I should point out that the terrace was practically empty and we weren't taking up anyone else's seat. We were strongly encouraged to go elsewhere. I've never experienced such appalling service. It's a shame because the previous time we were greeted very warmly by a different waitress...

04/06/2026: Excellent service on this rainy Monday evening. We stumbled upon the restaurant quite by chance after a visit to La Coloc, and we weren't disappointed. Friendly waiter and a chic, intimate atmosphere.

14/05/2026: The location is in Pré Carré, a small, quiet, and intimate neighborhood right in the heart of Annecy. The setting is very cozy, in a sophisticated Scottish pub style. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; you immediately feel at home. The service is impeccable and always with a smile. The dishes are varied, high-quality, and delicious, with set menus (starter, main course, dessert) at very reasonable prices. Everything was perfect at Le Chardon d'Écosse. We will definitely return… perhaps to try the brunch, which looks incredible, or for a festive evening!

19/05/2026: A very nice hotel. The service is impeccable. The restaurant staff is very helpful. Delicious breakfast with some gluten-free options. And a very good fitness center. The spa is also very good. The only downside is the soundproofing of the rooms. We could hear conversations in the hallway and the TV in the next room.

09/04/2026: A fabulous swimming facility. Everything is clean and works well. The main indoor pool is generally heated to around 28 degrees, which is great if you are doing swim training. The staff are very friendly and helpful and can speak English if your French is limited. There is a good range of pricing options too ranging from single visit to season-long passes. Keep an eye on the opening times. Haven't used the outdoor pools so can't comment on these.

03/04/2026: How can I put it? The family atmosphere is fantastic, very warm and welcoming 😉 Watching our meat cook right in front of us on the wood-fired grill was a wonderful experience. The service is great, very friendly. I had a lovely time and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it.

26/04/2026: After a pleasant walk in Voiron, we stopped at a restaurant we had booked in advance and received a warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious meal made with local produce. Everything was perfect.

22/05/2026: Excellent place, very authentic, warm and interesting atmosphere. Very friendly service, no matter which sofa you are talking on. Food is incredibly delicious, there are options for vegetarians, fish, salads and even a kind of business meal for a price including 2 courses. Highly recommended, just book in advance.

22/05/2026: I really wanted to love every bit of this meal because the start was so promising, but it turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag. Here is the breakdown of my experience: The Highlights Atmosphere (5/5): Truly exceptional. The restaurant has a warm, inviting, and authentic vibe that makes you want to settle in for hours. Service (5/5): The staff were professional, attentive, and incredibly welcoming. They really do their best to make you feel at home. The Foie Gras (5/5): Absolutely divine. It was the standout dish of the night—rich, perfectly prepared, and worth coming back for on its own. The Letdown The Fondue (1/5): This was a major disappointment, especially given how great the rest of the experience was. The Bread: It was noticeably stale, which is a cardinal sin for a dish that relies so heavily on its dipping vessel. The Cheese: The flavor was "off"—not the usual nutty richness you expect, but rather something unappealing. Seasoning: The entire pot was overwhelmingly salty, to the point where it was difficult to finish. Final Verdict Go for the stunning ambiance and the foie gras, but I’d suggest skipping the fondue until they sort out the kitchen consistency. It’s a beautiful spot with great people, but the main event just didn't deliver this time.

24/04/2026: We discovered La Table de l'Alpaga during our stay in Megève, and everything was perfect. Delicate and flavorful dishes, a magnificent setting, and attentive service. We had a truly magical time.

22/02/2026: Undoubtedly an excellent restaurant, but I was still a little disappointed by the choice of dishes. A revisited onion soup, endives, beef, and vegetables in the style of a pot-au-feu—certainly extremely well-revisited and elegantly presented—but the ingredients were still simple. The staff was very attentive. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, which I had mentioned when making the reservation, and the chocolate plaque that accompanied our dessert was engraved with "Happy Wedding Anniversary"... what a shame...

19/03/2026: Every year we come to end our holidays with a fantastic barbecue! Once you get over the initial surprise of the smoke from the braziers (asthmatics beware!!!...), the old-fashioned farm-inn atmosphere is friendly and welcoming! We have a soft spot for this place, which hosted us as a family for many years... We remember the perfect breakfasts back then...

09/03/2026: Excellent location for this family-run restaurant at the foot of the L'Hôtel slope. Everything is homemade. If you're looking for a typical mountain spot where you feel comfortable, eat well, and are served by attentive staff, you've come to the right place! Our go-to spot for a great fondue (and much more) every time we visit Praz-de-Lys, summer or winter.

07/03/2026: Reblochon burger, nothing special. A bit dry. The waitress was friendly, but the owner wouldn't let me take my Perrier home as soon as I started drinking it because the bottle was returnable. That's petty considering the deposit, especially since I'd already paid for the Perrier at the price I was charged. SO THANKS TO THE WAITRESS FOR THE PLASTIC CUP.

06/03/2026: A place to grab a bite to eat on the way to the ski resorts, but the price doesn't justify the quality. The Reblochon burger was nothing special. A large bottle of water cost €7. At that price, I'd rather have Super La Neige. The atmosphere was terrible. I don't recommend it.
