02/09/2024: We have been here several times but the last one was a long time ago. Disappointed with the value for money because even if the food is good, the price is too high for what it is. The burger was dry but the tartare delicious. Didn't have dessert because there was nothing besides the soufflé. It’s a shame, very few customers on a Sunday evening when two other restaurants in the area were full. I find that this address has lost its flavor, a bad memory for probably my last visit.

19/01/2025: The food is quite good but cannot compensate for the incredible condescension of the owner. Go on your way, you can largely find just as good with quality service from a healthier and more caring person.

19/01/2025: Pretty good pastries but expensive. The downside is the salespeople: unpleasant, bordering on contemptuous...but not with everyone. Obviously, the smell of money makes them much more friendly...on the verge of simpering.

20/08/2024: Mon expérience, malheureusement, a été la pire possible. Le dimanche 18/08/2024, moi, accompagné de ma femme, de sa sœur et de sa fille (sévèrement autiste, 9 ans), je me suis arrêté dans ce restaurant pour déjeuner, la petite était bien identifiée, avec le collier qui informe qu'il y a c'est un handicap invisible là-bas et avec la reconnaissance du handicap, reconnu dans toute la France, mais à ma grande tristesse, la petite a eu un petit moment de crise, bougeant les mains et poussant un cri, je comprends tout et en fait ça me dérange. à l'heure actuelle. Nous nous sommes excusés auprès d'un couple qui se trouvait à proximité, ils étaient gentils. Mais une femme aux cheveux châtain foncé, vêtue d'un uniforme noir, a donné une grande leçon de préjugés, a grossièrement insulté la petite, l'a insultée et maltraitée devant tout le monde, je me suis senti humilié, gêné, honteux. Cet endroit devrait mettre une pancarte avertissant que les personnes ayant un handicap comme celui-ci ne sont pas les bienvenues, mais plutôt une personne monstrueuse et préjugée qui n'a ni respect ni empathie. Je ne le recommande pas et je ne remettrai plus jamais les pieds dans cet endroit. Elle et le restaurant auraient dû savoir que son attitude fonctionnerait, c'était criminel, humiliant et embarrassant, c'est ce qu'elle nous a fait ressentir, malheureusement je ne le recommande à personne.

20/08/2024: My experience, unfortunately, was the worst possible. On Sunday 08/18/2024, I, accompanied by my husband, my sister and my daughter (severely autistic, 9 years old) stopped at this restaurant for lunch, my daughter was clearly identified, with the necklace which informs that 'there is an invisible disability there and with the finding of disability, recognized throughout France, but to my great sadness, my daughter had a little moment of crisis, moving her hands and letting out a cry, I understand everything It actually bothers me and for the moment. I apologized to a couple who were nearby, they were nice. But a woman with dark brown hair, dressed in a black uniform, gave a big lesson in prejudice, she rudely insulted my daughter, cursed and mistreated my daughter in front of everyone, I felt humiliated, embarrassed, ashamed. This place should put up a sign warning that people with my daughter's disability are not welcome, but would rather have a monstrous, prejudiced person who has no respect or empathy. I do not recommend it and will never set foot in this place again. She and the restaurant should have known her attitude would work, it was criminal, humiliating and embarrassing, that's how I felt as a mother.

15/09/2024: Entered without expectations because we just popped in for a quick breakfast before taking an early train and in my experience, places near train stations aren’t necessarily always good. But I really loved the pastries they sell here. They were fresh and crisp and tasty. The madeleine was perfect: fluffy inside, crispy outside, with a zing of lemon. The service was also friendly and the coffee not bad at all. Certainly recommended, it was better than some of the bakeries we tried in the city center.

04/09/2024: They were very racist. We ask for some croissants and they said they dont speak english. They didnt serve us even if we pointed the finger at what we want

03/09/2024: The food tastes excellent. Beautiful location right on the small lake. The service is also excellent. The boss still cooks himself and takes care of the guests. Absolute recommendation!

14/08/2024: Great welcome, the boss is open to discussion. The sandwiches and salad are super good. Nothing to say. Reduced service due to the weather but honestly nothing to say we adapt. And that’s completely understandable.

14/12/2024: We took takeaway pizzas, what a mistake... We are more on a wet wrap than on a pizza dough, with a bad topping, for 17th the pizza is really bad...

20/11/2024: Located between two towns B&B hotel being currently on the trail it was impossible for me to find the front door, in short after walking behind the hedge I was able to see the host who received me well, it's a quiet place I was able to have lunch there with a fresh fruit salad that I enjoyed. Too bad there is no shuttle to Bonneville, because I had to go there and back because I didn't have a vehicle.

17/09/2024: Excellent endroit. Menu du jour très bien cuisiné, plein de saveurs, original. Ça sent le fait sur place Pas de plats locaux pour ce menu mais c’est bien de ne pas manger que du fromage ! Et tout ça pour 18,5€ : impossible de faire mieux. Repas sur une terrasse typique au soleil: on a passé un bon moment

08/09/2024: Ambiance assez froide. Le sourire est en option. Le tourisme rapporte mais dois gêner. Heureusement qu'ils sont là. Quand aux prix...... Un café à 1.90. l'appât du gain. Enfin allez on va mettre trois étoiles. Ça fera la moyenne des commentaires que nous avons constatés. Un effort svp le sourire et la bonne humeur 😃😃

01/10/2024: I arrived at this shelter exhausted from three days of bad weather and muscles screaming at me to return home quickly. Without the words of encouragement from guide Guillaume and the frank and mountain atmosphere of the refuge, I would certainly not have exceeded my strength to discover others or pass the Salenton pass. Certainly the cuisine is not great luxury and the breakfast is a little austere considering the effort required by the hiker but for me, it is a detail. 22/09/2024: The refuge is well located, with a nice view. On the other hand, in terms of catering, it's a disaster: a fondue that looks more like a pot of water than a real fondue. Red wine from the pitcher which was undrinkable just good for unblocking toilets. Dessert, a totally chemical flan. The morning buffet is no better than a budget hotel. The €12 picnic is also a little excessive with a mini ham sandwich, a small packet of chips, a compote drink, a cake, an apple and a chocolate bar. A bit tight for an adult going on a day hike... Very disappointed with this refuge where we do not find the mountain spirit that we can find in other refuges.

25/09/2024: Worst and most expensive pizza I had in my life. Highly suggest avoiding this place.

04/09/2024: Never eaten such bad pizzas, cardboard dough, raclette cheese bought in supermarkets, very little topping, for 18€, it's a shame, move on, tourist trap.

25/01/2025: Very good, we were found a place while the other restaurants were supposedly full, we ate very well at a reasonable price for Chamonix

15/12/2024: First time and I have absolutely no regrets. Quality starters, hot dishes and desserts, friendly welcome, friendly and professional staff... for me who have been in the restaurant business for over 20 years, I highly recommend even if Flunch is a competitor! Well done to the team.

10/12/2024: Good atmosphere in general, I always enjoy coming with my family or alone because it remains on a scale? Family and friendly, it's a real pleasure to be there every time.
