Arriving between 12:50 and 1:00 PM, we simply wanted to eat a main course without a starter or drinks, as we had to leave by 2:00 PM at the latest. As a result, we had to leave before our food arrived. It's a shame; we chose a brasserie to be efficient.

17/03/2026: I went to L'Argentero for lunch with five others during a break from skiing in March 2026. Service was quick and friendly, even though we didn't speak French. I had the mixed salad with ginger and soy-sauce-marinated chicken for 20.50 euros; it tasted excellent and was beautifully arranged. Honestly, this slopeside lunch was as good as a three- or four-star restaurant back home. When leaving, I took a picture of someone’s charcuterie board, which looked so good. I highly recommend. 01/04/2026: Loyal customers for years, Marlow is our favorite spot in Les Carroz. The owners are very friendly, there's a good selection of beers and cocktails, and the food is really good. A truly lovely establishment that I wholeheartedly recommend.

20/03/2026: Visited today at 10 a.m. I'm very disappointed with this establishment, which I used to frequent. I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease, so I went to this restaurant and politely asked if they had gluten-free options. The extremely unpleasant woman replied: "I don't know anything about that, vegetarian, all that stuff, I don't know anything about it and I'm not interested." I explained my condition (no wheat). Then she went into the kitchen without giving me any information. I asked for the allergen list so I could make my own choice without pressuring her. There was no allergen list (which is mandatory), and she was of no help whatsoever. So I chose a salad, hoping I was making the right choice, and at the register, she offered me bread... Being sick is already complicated (because yes, it is an illness), but to make us feel it as an inconvenience for an establishment with such a deeply annoyed expression is truly disconcerting. I will never set foot in that store again, even though I used to love it.

12/12/2025: Excellent value for money. Finally, a place where you can eat well and heartily. I recommend the daily special, always delicious and well-balanced (for the price of €10.20, a rarity in Annecy) and the very pleasant welcome.

09/04/2026: AMAZING! Honestly, this is the second lunchtime we've eaten there, and as a Breton, I can assure you they're the best galettes in the Portes du Soleil region!!! 30/03/2026: I've been coming here for years, and more regularly with my dad lately. The service is sometimes a little rushed but always efficient, and a few kind words immediately relax the atmosphere. The daily menu is always well thought out, perfectly portioned, and of very good quality. As for Sundays and special days like Palm Sunday, the menu is very well planned and served just enough so you can eat everything, right up to dessert. They have lovely wines, perhaps not enough half-bottles, but the Mondeuse does the job! In short, we always come back with pleasure. Well done, Lionel and the team! See you soon!

04/04/2026: Frankly, the service is awful. Having a disability and a disability card, I normally have access to the restroom. However, the waitress, in a haughty and rude manner, refused to let me go even after seeing my card. It's disrespectful to me personally and to everyone in my situation.
