19/06/2026: An exceptional place in the heart of the mountains where we spent about twenty days. The comfort, the peace and quiet, and especially the warm welcome from the whole family there make you feel right at home. And I haven't even mentioned the chef, R, who delighted us with his meals during our stay, and above all, his smile and constant concern for our well-being. A huge thank you to everyone and to our ray of sunshine 😊

09/08/2026: We went twice in the afternoon to have a drink. The person who served us was very unfriendly and unpleasant, simply telling us, "I don't take credit cards." Not a smile. Furthermore, this person clearly doesn't like dogs, judging by their behavior. Avoid this place!

05/08/2026: Fresh, local, homemade products, excellent charcuterie and cheeses, a magnificent view, and honey sold directly by the owners. A place definitely worth a visit!

11/09/2026: Great bar in the center of Combloux

07/09/2026: The staff were incredibly friendly (it's so rare!) and generous: thank you again for the Italian ice cream! We went there every day in August for a week to have our morning coffee and ice cream!!! We'll be back as soon as we're in the area, and since we loved Combloux so much, we'll definitely be returning!!! Thank you and keep up the great work! 🙂

16/08/2026: A restaurant to avoid: industrial, vacuum-packed food—completely tasteless.

13/08/2026: Ive never ever encountered a place that refuses to serve drinks despite having a terrace with deck chairs (empty)with drinks tables and live music. The owner is literally refusing free money because he isn’t capable of pouring a 20 second glass of wine, his excuse ? ‘We are a restaurant and not a bar’ no wonder he has so many comments about his terrible management.

24/04/2026: We discovered La Table de l'Alpaga during our stay in Megève, and everything was perfect. Delicate and flavorful dishes, a magnificent setting, and attentive service. We had a truly magical time.

22/02/2026: Undoubtedly an excellent restaurant, but I was still a little disappointed by the choice of dishes. A revisited onion soup, endives, beef, and vegetables in the style of a pot-au-feu—certainly extremely well-revisited and elegantly presented—but the ingredients were still simple. The staff was very attentive. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, which I had mentioned when making the reservation, and the chocolate plaque that accompanied our dessert was engraved with "Happy Wedding Anniversary"... what a shame...

26/07/2026: I popped in briefly to grab two pastries for dessert this evening and couldn't resist the vanilla pecan tartlet. It was amazing! ♡ I'm dying to come back to Annecy to have another one and confirm this 'oumami' of pastry... a delight! On top of that, the staff were so friendly! Please don't stop making this dessert, I'll be back in the winter!!!

27/08/2026: We had a wonderful time as a family! The walks are very pleasant and allow you to fully appreciate the surroundings. I highly recommend it!

14/08/2026: We went to Morzine on holiday mountain biking. We bought the offered insurance for mountain rescue snd medical costs for 4euros in top of day pass for the uplifts. My son fell and broke his collar bone , we had medical expenses and tried to send insurance, it was 100% legitimate and all proof of purchase snd expenses were uploaded to the in portal. We have received nothing and no reimbursement or reason why legitimate costs are not covered. I can get no response from the insurance. Please be aware.

23/02/2026: A family-run hotel ideally located for winter or summer sports, and also perfect for a truly royal breakfast. The welcome from this family is exceptional.

02/02/2026: Warm welcome. Super friendly owners. Warm and family atmosphere. Authentic and comfortable rooms. Go for it!

13/08/2026: Overall, the hotel was decent, and the breakfast was excellent. I didn't try lunch or dinner, so I can't comment on the food. The woman who greeted us was a bit nonchalant, but overall it was fine. The hotel is divided in two by a busy road, which is worth noting because we could hear the noise in our room, even though we had booked a fairly expensive room.

31/07/2026: I had the pleasure of savoring the salmon tartare, followed by the delicious and generous chicken ballotine with gnocchetti, and finished with my favorite blueberry tart. As always, I was warmly welcomed by our sparkling Maryse, a key figure in the restaurant, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this beautiful, flower-filled establishment, with its air-conditioned and elegantly decorated dining room, and the virtuoso dishes prepared by the family. Thank you for existing!

17/10/2025: Very good, excellent value for money, the dishes are well prepared and the service is quick and just right. The staff are very welcoming, a great find that we will gladly return to.

02/09/2026: Just received at 11:25 am on Wednesday, September 2nd, by a new gentleman named Omar at reception who was incredibly kind. Smiling, pleasant, and very welcoming, it was truly a pleasure to be received with such kindness. A big thank you to him for his hospitality! 😊

29/08/2026: The madeleine and the Swiss bread are good, the sandwich isn't bad either.

22/09/2026: We came as a group of 50 people, and we all bought quite a bit of cheese, thinking, as the owner had clearly stated, that our hotel was okay with storing it in their cold room during our week in Saint-Gervais. The upshot is that the cheese will be staying on the bus for more than 5 days because the hotel doesn't accept outside products, which is understandable. Especially considering it's 25 degrees Celsius! Not very nice of her. If anything, the cheese is very good.

13/08/2026: Food was ok but nothing special. The service was kind but a little bit too slow. The view to Mont Blanc from the terrace is fantastic.

06/08/2026: The service was lovely and very attentive, the food was excellent and beautifully presented... and what can I say about the view! Kudos to this sheepfold for not taking the easy route and serving mediocre food compensated for by the exceptional location.
