07/02/2026: We just stopped by in the summer for lunch and the setting and the food were really lovely!
07/09/2025: I've been to many refuges.
And this one, for its team, its very warm welcome, and the best food I've ever tasted in a refuge, breaks all records.
We easily forget the lack of water.
Congratulations to you for this optimal management.
Thanks to the team, good luck for the end of the season and looking forward to the next one!

19/01/2026: Lovely hotel with very pleasant rooms. Staff were all super helpful and polite.
Dinner was SUPREME such a lovely menu and atmosphere. Food was divine.
The hotel could benefit from a bit more organisation and breakfast. They didn't have much left at 7.30am, no black tea for instance and no non-diary milks.
Also my room didn't have any plug sockets by the desk which was frustrating

08/03/2026: We had dinner with a group of 12 at the end of a week of winter sports. Two tables next to each other was a great solution. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was very friendly.

29/07/2025: Started our TMB here. Very nice wait staff. The food was fantastic.. coming from the US where nothing is freshly made or part of a chain. Had tender beef with gravy, scalloped potatoes, tomato stuffed zucchini as the main meal. Greet salad bar with veggies, shrimp, meats and cheeses. A bread basket. And the desserts … chocolate cake, raspberry topped custard, fresh fruit cup with a mint sprig, and another cheese cake. Everything was fresh and delicious!

05/03/2026: The team here made our holiday incredible! Most welcoming from day one and always made us feel special! Just opposite the panda club for after ski school lunch. We sampled most of the menu and every dish was fantastic!! Mattias and his team went above and beyond for our little boy. Making him chocolate chaud before his lessons and making him feel happy and confident about skiing!

02/03/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with a lovely terrace at the foot of the slopes and an original menu at reasonable prices considering the location. The service is impeccable and attentive.

11/03/2026: It's not what it used to be: very slow service, arriving at 12:30 pm and served at 2 pm even though very few tables were occupied. Nevertheless, the dishes were hot, generous, and very good.
10/03/2026: We arrived at the restaurant at noon, just the two of us, to find about thirty other people already seated. We waited two and a half hours, several tables that arrived after us were served much earlier, and we never received our food. Incomprehensible and extremely disappointing.

The owner is very charming & hospitable and gives Sam Heughan a run for his money in the looks department.
We went twice & probably should have gone 3x because we never founda place that we preferred, although we did try different regional cuisine.

03/03/2026: The cheese quality was appalling: the raclette was inedible. Dinner was a disaster. Not a single dish was satisfactory for the entire table. We were starving and hugely disappointed when the hefty bill arrived. This restaurant is poorly managed. Avoid it.
22/02/2026: A warm welcome. The meal was excellent: raclette and potée. The servers were attentive and friendly. We had a lovely evening.

16/03/2026: It's a disgrace: the food is awful and the service appalling. It's clear they're not in the business. Between the endless wait and the staff's hostility, it's an experience to avoid at all costs. Spare yourself the ordeal.
28/11/2025: We came to this café to eat, but were very disappointed by the service. The waitress refused to heat our child's bottle, claiming they were cleaning up afterward. A little understanding and consideration would have been appreciated, especially for such a simple need. We will not be returning.

22/09/2025: The welcome and the terrace are pleasant, but I was very disappointed by the food. I ordered a sole dish with vegetables and fries, and unfortunately the sole was overcooked and lacking in freshness, while the fries were too greasy. For a dish costing over €25, I expected better quality. Too bad, I will not return to this restaurant.
