10/08/2026: The staff were unpleasant; the waiter didn't give us time to choose our order and rushed us to pay because he was about to finish work. The price was not worth the quality of the food or the service. I absolutely do not recommend this place; there are much better bars with better quality food just down the street or a little further away.

10/08/2026: We had lunch yesterday at La Potinière in Chamonix with my boyfriend during our 4-day holiday in the region, and we had a wonderful time! 😊 The meal was absolutely delicious. I had a croûziflette and my boyfriend had a tartiflette, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! The portions were generous, flavorful, and perfectly suited to a good mountain meal. 🧀🥔 We also really appreciated the restaurant's atmosphere and the warm welcome. It was a great find during our stay in Chamonix. We highly recommend La Potinière without hesitation, and if we return to Chamonix, we will definitely go back! ❤️🏔️

21/03/2026: So, we went inside to eat and were told we could only eat outside. We sat outside and were told we were sitting in the wrong section. The correct section was full so we went elsewhere. Why not make this clear?

01/03/2026: Lovely food and breathtaking view on the mountains. After the difficult to reach place this is a great escape to have a little break

07/03/2026: We came for lunch during a day of skiing. The positives: the food was very good and the location is great. However: it's very expensive and, above all, the service is very inconsistent and lacking in friendliness. There were four of us adults with an order that suggested a reasonable bill. Our only request was for the cheese to be served separately in the soup (an appetizer costing over €10). The soup arrived with the cheese already in it. Without a word. I called the waiter over to point it out, and he offered me a small bowl to remove it myself. A waitress brought it to us and, far from apologizing, said, "It's the chef's fault." No apology, and she was condescending when I tried to say that it wasn't what we had ordered. In short, we won't be back: there are much nicer people at much more affordable prices all over the resort!

25/07/2026: Wedding catering. La Bonbonnière prepared superb savory tarts, brioches, flans, and other treats that allowed us to create a delicious wedding brunch. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you again for this successful service.

03/08/2026: I've eaten there several times hoping it would be good, but no, the restaurant is really awful. Plus, the waiters are incredibly unfriendly, and you wait forever for them to clear your table. A nightmare!

27/07/2026: Fantastic time!! We went there with a friend without really knowing what to expect because it had been so long, and we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered two cocktails; the price wasn't excessive considering the quality and quantity in the glass. We had the cocktail of the moment, "The Blue," which was really good, and the waitress, Mélanie, was absolutely lovely. A big thank you to her! We'll definitely be back.

03/08/2026: The food was okay, but nothing special. The service wasn't great; we had to ask several times for a carafe of water. We all ordered fondues, but the fondues with the extra charcuterie (which cost extra) had significantly less salad than the regular fondues. Aside from that, we were satisfied.

02/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, the location is ideal, the staff are welcoming and the food is simply incredible. As tourists, we are delighted to have discovered such a great restaurant in Annecy.

01/07/2026: I was disappointed with my stay chose this hotel because I thought its central location would be a great advantage, but it turned out to be a major drawback. My room's balcony faced the bar, and the noise continued late into the night. Sleeping was almost impossible. If I closed the window, the room became unbearably hot because there is no air conditioning. If I opened it, the noise was excessive. For the very high price I paid per night, I don't feel I received good value. The hotel parking was already full when I arrived, forcing me to find alternative parking. The breakfast was also significantly more expensive than at many other places. A four-star hotel without air conditioning is very disappointing, especially during the summer. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not justify the price I paid.

02/06/2026: One of the most disappointing hotels I’ve stayed at. The room was unbearably hot, and the only solution offered by the staff was a loud fan that made sleeping uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi was terrible — in our room, the hotel network couldn’t even be detected most of the time. The location is the only thing this hotel has going for it. Other than that, the facilities, comfort, and overall experience were extremely disappointing. Definitely not worth the price, and I would not recommend staying here.

30/07/2026: Super MeChèreve... Unheard-of prices for the location. The plan was a cup of coffee or a cola. Ran away upon seeing the menu (see also other reviews). Sure, a cola or coffee on the mountain can be a bit more expensive. But 50m from the cable car, restocking doesn't seem like a problem to me, and this tastes like a rip-off. Even catering at the Aiguille de Midi is cheaper. And not all the tables there are empty either. People. Walk on, or bring your own drinks. This makes no sense anymore. Unable to judge the quality.

15/04/2026: Extremely expensive for what we ate. It was good, but 200 euros for 2 adults and 2 children is still very, very expensive. The food was good but expensive…

14/04/2026: The worrying thing about end of season Avoriaz is that very few of the restaurants are open. However fear not because Les Fontaines Blanches is probably one of the best places to eat in the Haut Savoie. Great staff who are warm and welcoming. It is easy to catch their eye when you need something. The quality of the food is sublime. Our party had: Entrecote aux morelles, (ribeye in mushroom sauce) which was tender and tasty. Tartiflette had a thick cheese and perfect crust, loaded with bacon. Escalope Savoyarde was tender chicken with a layer of ham and cream cheese in a cheese sauce, so delicious. Somebody in the kitchen cares about their customers experience. Yes its a bit more expensive, but so worth it.

08/08/2026: 28 euros for a hamburger and a drink? I reckon that at that price, the so-called "Savoyard" hamburger should taste of cheese, not industrial sauce. I mentioned this at the till, and they told me, "You should have ordered a Savoyard specialty 🙃🙃🙃 or go to McDonald's 😡"

05/08/2026: I'm giving 0 stars (Google requires a minimum of 1 star) solely for our takeout order. We ordered a vanilla milkshake, a coffee milkshake, and a coconut-pineapple frappe. We asked the server the difference between a milkshake and a frappe, and he didn't know either, so we were surprised to find out what we were getting. The drinks are made in a machine on the counter, with absolutely no vanilla or coffee ice cream. They're made with blended ice cubes, a tiny bit of milk, and some disgusting chemical powder. All three ended up in the bin. €6 for 30 ml! I'd rather pay €9 or €10 for a real milkshake. I told the server this, and he just smiled politely. Just so you know.
