18/09/2024: Pour un repas de 7 personnes, nous avons été pris en charge par un serveur très efficace et avec un humour 3eme degré fort sympathique. Nous avons eu tout le temps de prendre l'apéritif avant le service des entrées (notamment la terrine du patron façon "Servez-vous"). Un tout petit peu d'attente pour le plat, mais chacun ayant choisi un plat différent (ou quasiment), cela laisse entendre que la cuisine est préparée à la demande :cuisses de grenouille excellentes, hamburgers maison fabuleux... Les très bons desserts sont à un prix très abordable. Bref, tout était parfait, même la visite du chef après le repas. Même ma belle-mère à adoré, c'est vous dire. À refaire.

10/07/2024: Un restaurant de montagne qui a su sur quelques années maintenir son statut d’endroit agréable tant la nourriture se distinguait de nombre de restaurants de montagne que je compare souvent à des restaurants gastro par le prix et à des cantines par ce qui est servi. Ce qui ne signifie pas que les prix sont raisonnables au « hors-pistes » mais la prestation est plutôt agréable et l’endroit de qualité. En revanche, en ce mois de décembre 2023 j’ai été surpris par l’obligation de payer une bouteille d’eau. Souhaitant ne boire que de l’eau je pensais obtenir très naturellement une carafe d’eau et c’est là que la serveuse m’indique qu’il y a un problème de qualité de l’eau. En un mot quelle est impropre à la consommation. Cela peut arriver, mais dans de telles circonstances comment peut on faire payer 7 euros 50 un litre d’eau en bouteille ? Plus surprenante est l’absence de panneaux indicateurs de non portabilité dans les toilettes et notamment au niveau du lavabo (voir photos). La simple mention du non fonctionnement du robinet pour un lavabo ne saurait suffire si l’eau est véritablement impropre à la consommation. Bref, cela m’a particulièrement déçu sans parler des incohérences notamment celle que je rappelais au niveau des toilettes. Je forme le vœu que la situation soit réglée et qu’il ne s’agisse pas d’une manœuvre pour faire payer l’eau. En attendant mon prochain passage… Et bon appétit bien sûr.

23/08/2024: I recently discovered this restaurant and I was super happy with my choice. I had a salad with fresh, local produce, and it was really delicious. The service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. An address that I recommend without hesitation for a good meal without the hassle. I will come back with pleasure!

23/06/2024: Attention vegans : go here! Very friendly staff, very tasty food! The nice lady told us they do more vegan food on request. We had the soup of the day with fried pizza dough (OMG! 🤤) and a lovely pizza. Staff was super helpful and made us feel very welcome. Atmosphere was lovely, so also for non vegans you should eat here.

14/09/2024: Déjeuner en famille dans cette petite ferme, dotée d’une vue magnifique depuis la terrasse ensoleillée. Les beignets de pomme-de-terre sont EXCELLENT ! Des serveuses souriantes et au petit soin. Le rapport qualité/prix est parfait !

06/09/2024: Stylish restaurant set within an upmarket hotel (don’t let that put you off). The menu had a great range of dishes so we opted for the tasting menu which was reasonably priced. Service was nicely paced and welcoming. Our meal took around 2.5 hours and consisted of 5 generous courses. The wine pairing was a nice addition - usually we’d avoid but this was sensibly priced and a decent amount per glass. Would recommend and go back.

16/09/2024: Inconspicuous little restaurant right next to the suspension bridge. We discovered it by chance and reserved a table for the evening. The dinner, beer, wine and dessert was simply amazing! We recommend the beef ribs with potato gratin! We'll be back.

24/12/2023: I'm disappointed. A friend organized a party for us there, and in the end not enough charcuterie platter. The first ones super well served, white ham raw ham various cheeses etc then the last 6 pieces of cheese and the rosette 8 slices for 18 euros a board it hurts.... After our order it's no longer possible to get more... not enough stock?! It ended up in fast food, a somewhat ruined evening for our group because of that. They seem quite overwhelmed as soon as there are people there but otherwise good atmosphere!!

05/11/2023: It is one of the rare places in the valley to offer such exceptional service in terms of value for money! It's just a perfect place for lunch! in family and in business! well done and thank you!

09/09/2024: Had dinner here (also staying at the hotel) at the start of autumn right after their crazy summer period, and had a good time. The food was excellent and there was a free flow of bread and butter (the bread was really good too). Service was great as well (possibly because it was quiet and there must've been one wait staff per table). In general, hotel restaurants tend to be more expensive, but not these guys. Prices were competitive (or similar) vs all the restaurants in chamonix. That being said, nothing in chamonix is particularly cheap. Finally the live music performances that came on were entertaining to watch as well, lending to a pleasant atmosphere.
