24/08/2026: A warm and welcoming place where we enjoyed an excellent fondue and alpine sundae (Monday's Savoyard fondue menu). The staff are very friendly and welcoming; I highly recommend it!

03/08/2026: A very warm and professional welcome. Quick service and the Savoyard dishes were delicious. We were able to dine in the cool shade on the terrace. We almost overlooked this restaurant because of the Google review, but we were treated better than in many other restaurants in Flaine. We will definitely return, and kudos again to the two lovely and efficient waitresses.

01/03/2026: Nice location. Vegetable soup looked like dishwater and tasted inedible. Chilli Con Carne was just OK. Chips, coffee and beer all good. Nice dog.

21/07/2026: A very bad experience. I arrived around 10:00 PM to eat, even though the hours indicated closing time was 11:30 PM. There was still plenty of time. Upon my arrival, the manager turned off the lights, slammed the door in my face, and started yelling at me, demanding to know what I was doing there. I didn't even have a chance to speak. I find this behavior unacceptable. Even if the restaurant was about to close, there's a way to speak to customers with respect and courtesy. I am very disappointed by this service and I will not be returning.

05/07/2026: We had a wonderful time. The welcome was very warm, with a special mention for the waitress, who was truly lovely. The Caesar salad was delicious, the crepes generous, and the trampolines right next door were a real bonus for the children. We'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

06/09/2026: A very beautiful restaurant with a magnificent view...very good service and a delicious dinner...a large parking area nearby for campervans who want to eat out close to their campsite.... I highly recommend it.

30/08/2026: A magical place, excellent cuisine with an exceptional panoramic view of the Mont Blanc mountain range. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. We'll be back very soon.

20/08/2026: We were unanimously disappointed with our meals, which lacked flavor (I was told it would be a croque montagne with Reblochon-type cheese inside, but I didn't see any of that cheese in my dish). As for the service, it was clearly not up to the standard one expects in other establishments of this caliber.

14/08/2026: We booked to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff is very professional and welcoming, and the setting is beautiful. However, for €312 per person, we expected higher quality dishes. As vegetarians, we chose the summer salad with white truffles as a starter. The salad was cooked and far from fresh. Surprising for a restaurant of this caliber. The main course, trout with almonds, was nothing exceptional, but the dessert buffet was extraordinary. The wines and champagne were excellent. It's a shame; it could have been a much better experience.

15/09/2026: What disappointing service for an aperitif. The arrogant waitress with a handbag doesn't remember the correct 2 drinks (which we didn't mention). She slams the drinks down and is anything but friendly. Very peculiar.

06/05/2026: Our experience was very mixed. Positive: - Comfortable bedding and a lovely view - The staff was very pleasant - The wine was very good (perfectly paired) - The view was beautiful, especially at sunset - Very quiet Negative: - For a seven-course dinner, we expected fresh bread, but it was dry. - The service was very slow; two and a half hours to eat is far too slow, especially since it wasn't really seven courses. The amuse-bouches aren't supposed to count as a course (we're used to Michelin-starred restaurants), and the rest of the meal should have been served quickly. - The room was shabby: peeling paint, noisy shower (when all they needed was a new faucet), and a bandage was used to repair the hairdryer... - There was a room with lots of board games, which was great! Except that the games are incomplete; we tested about ten of them, and there's always something missing...

05/05/2026: A haven of serenity (and delicious food) overlooking the mountains! An absolutely perfect stay at this aptly named establishment. From the moment you arrive, you're struck by the tranquility and the breathtaking view of the valley, but it's the welcome that truly makes the difference: warm, professional, and genuine. Spa: A pure moment of relaxation. The facilities are impeccable, and the view from the relaxation areas is simply magical. It's the ideal remedy after a day on the trails (or slopes!). I'll just mention the absence of a jacuzzi. There's a hammam, sauna, massage shower, and hanging chairs with a tea area. But no jacuzzi. Dining: Special mention for the restaurant! You can feel the genuine attention to local products, which are enhanced with finesse. It's top-notch, both for the palate and the service. The hotel's eco-responsible commitment (the first bioclimatic hotel in the region, if I'm not mistaken!) allows you to enjoy luxury guilt-free. In short, whether it's the attentive staff or the quality of the services, La Croix de Savoie is a rare find in Les Carroz. You come for the view, you stay for the experience. Thank you for this timeless moment!

17/08/2026: Waiting doesn't seem to be what it used to be. The service was appalling, and I was overwhelmed with only two tables. It's unbelievable to be working like this in 2026. I'll have to find another job.

19/03/2026: A room that evokes the warmth of the mountains, a wonderful family running the hotel, with their son in the kitchen offering exceptional quality dishes that will leave you wanting more, a full breakfast served by the lovely Michèle, rooms with balconies, tables and chairs, and pretty bathrooms, very comfortable beds and high-quality linens—care is evident throughout the building. Not to mention the location, away from the village center, a delight for children. A warm and pleasant welcome after a long day of travel. Will we return? Yes, without hesitation! The peace and quiet are perfect, yet only a 10-15 minute walk (without ski boots). The prices are reasonable compared to other resorts in the village. When I read some of the negative comments, I don't understand their negativity. Perhaps they're used to higher standards but don't want to pay the price. We found the price, the welcome, and the quality to be excellent.

13/03/2026: The service I received on the phone was extremely poor; I called at 10 PM to make a reservation. They hung up on me outright. I went to another hotel.

29/08/2026: A place with a great variety of good quality food, and fast and very friendly service.

29/08/2026: The waiters were very rude and impolite to us. We had a baby stroller, we sat where they told us to, and then they rudely told us the stroller was in the way. Then they served our drinks but didn't order our food until 20 minutes later, and finally they brought us the bill from another table without taking our order for coffee or dessert. We left after paying for our own food and didn't get coffee or dessert. We don't recommend it.

14/04/2026: We were in the eastern part of town and ate at La Détente restaurant. It was very good, the staff were friendly, and I recommend it. We ate around 1:30 pm. Thank you.

03/09/2026: What a marvel. Very good value, even though it's central, the price is very good, they make lunch menus. The service is good. And they even waited for the group to arrive from the cable car. Everything was perfect.
