11/06/2026: I'm sorry for this very negative review, but the owner is not suited to cooking. He's very unpleasant, disorganized, and doesn't know how to serve. The staff are excellent, but the owner doesn't belong in this establishment. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

22/02/2026: Lunch with family while skiing - and unfortunately it was a real disappointment. For a venue with around 140-150 seats, having just one single-person toilet is frankly unacceptable. The queue was consistently 10+ people deep, which is not what you expect when you’re trying to get back out onto the slopes. The food - below mediocre and massively overpriced for the quality delivered. The interior - tired and run-down, looks cheap and the overall layout is to squeeze in as many covers as possible rather than creating a comfortable dining experience. Service from the waiting staff was okay, but the manager was notably unfriendly and dismissive, which only added to the poor experience. Would not return and would advise others to avoid.

07/03/2026: A very pleasant surprise! A delightful mountain restaurant with flavorful and fresh dishes. I was thrilled to enjoy a vegetarian red coconut curry with unique fresh vegetables on a day of skiing! The terrace is lovely; you can sunbathe and relax—just what you need to head back out onto the slopes feeling refreshed. Thank you for everything!

05/03/2026: We arrived for lunch as a couple. There were several empty tables. We sat down at one of them. The waiter repeatedly ignored us, apparently because we hadn't noticed his instructions – though definitely not intentionally. He then told us we had to wait. When he finally came, he told us to sit at a different table – even though there were still plenty of other free tables. We then left the restaurant. The behavior was unfriendly, unprofessional, and like something out of a kindergarten.

23/04/2026: Hello, it had been a long time since I'd stopped at Blachère, and I must say I ate my pizza because I wanted to eat something. It was bland (even though it was a chorizo ​​pizza). I thought I'd end on a high note with the cookie, but it was incredibly hard and very sweet, so I couldn't taste the chocolate. I was served by a courteous young man.

01/08/2026: The service was terrible. Not having a table available without a reservation is perfectly understandable, but the way customers were treated so rudely is another matter entirely. The owner greeted us in a curt and haughty tone. There's a way to tell people they're full without being disrespectful. Avoid this place.

21/08/2026: Honestly, this place is a Breton crêperie in name only... poor Brittany... the crêpes are barely warm, the cheese inside isn't melted enough, canned applesauce? It looks like it, and caramel in a liquid bottle!!!!! Wow!!! And the service isn't great either... and I almost forgot, the toilets have no door and are open to the restaurant; you can hear the hand dryers... keep walking... it's a tourist trap for gullible people.

20/08/2026: On Wednesday the 19th, there were four of us for lunch. We received a very warm welcome from the staff and the setting was very pleasant. Despite being busy, we were served in under thirty minutes with generous and delicious plates. The waiters, a young man and a young woman, were very friendly. As we were leaving, I thanked the people who were preparing the galettes and crêpes for their quality. I told the manager that we would definitely return on our next visit to Annecy.

08/08/2026: Having traveled a long way, we stopped by the restaurant around 1 p.m. to try and have lunch. We asked the staff if there were any tables available. The welcome was icy, both from the first person we encountered at the entrance and from the two others inside. We had no choice but to give up, leave without a word, and go to have lunch elsewhere. In the late afternoon, after getting off the red train, we were tired and, given the restaurant's proximity to the parking lot, we went back a second time to order ice cream. The table was dirty and hadn't been cleared yet, and we were waiting for the waiter to clear it, but he walked right past us twice without paying the slightest attention to our wait. I had to call him over myself. He then came back to clear the table, seemingly reluctantly, and didn't clean up, leaving piles of trash, leftover mayonnaise, and juice all over the table. I ordered two ice creams, and he told me to go get them myself. I had to serve myself, pay at the counter, leave a tip, and ask again if someone could clean the table. My wife and I waited, but no one came. I then had to dig out some paper from my bag and clean the table myself, grab our ice creams haphazardly, and leave a second time, very disappointed. I will never go back; I do not recommend it in the slightest.

21/07/2026: The place is nice. The waiter is very friendly. However, I was quite disappointed with the drinks. We ordered iced coffees... no ice, no milk, for €7.50... just a cold coffee that had been left to cool down, and lattes for €10, also without ice. I think they need to rethink their recipe.

26/07/2026: We arrived at 12:00 PM to eat but received no welcome. We returned at 12:45 PM and the same thing happened. This restaurant was recommended to us by friends, but I think the staff needs to be trained in customer service! It's basic. I can't comment on the food!

19/08/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Unfriendly waitress. We came from Geneva. We asked twice for water for our dog; it's over 30 degrees Celsius. We're still waiting. The warm goat cheese salad was so-so.

05/03/2026: The pros: magical location, cleanliness, and the service, which has improved considerably this year. The cons: the food: firstly, it's a self-service restaurant, and secondly, the food selection is basic, incomparable to most mountain restaurants in Megève—for example—yet the prices reflect those of mountain restaurants. That said, the food is quite well cooked, coffee aside. Note a comment made today to an English-speaking customer: the manager is anti-Trump to the point of boycotting Coca-Cola. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even to the point of missing Khamenei, but it seems to me that in business, one should refrain from sharing it.
