26/07/2026: The meat was excellent, and the ribeye steak was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow and didn't respect the order of arrival. We received our meals an hour and 45 minutes after arriving, while other tables were served well before us despite their late arrival. Furthermore, they had forgotten to prepare one of the dishes for our table, and by the time they rectified their mistake, everyone hadn't eaten at the same time. To top it all off, the other tables had fries and salad, but we only received fries; they forgot the salad. It's a shame, because it's a good concept and the ingredients are good.

17/07/2026: Far too expensive for such mediocre dishes; for example, 36 euros for two prawns. Unjustified price. Avoid this place. We've had better; we won't be back.

03/07/2026: First time at this Pau institution. The owner and servers are lovely. The terrace is very peaceful, and the food is rarely such good value for money. And the fries… delicious!

13/08/2026: Excellent brasserie in a superb location. Lunch for four with our children. We were seated quickly, although the waitress's order took a little while; it's a shame she wasn't very friendly because the food was excellent and the prices more than reasonable.

09/08/2026: We were served quickly (both our orders and drinks), the waitress was kind enough to explain the menu to us in Spanish, and the food was delicious. The quality/price ratio was the best we found during our entire trip to Béarn. Highly recommended!

11/07/2026: We sat down at a restaurant the other side of the square but got up after being ignored by unmotivated staff and grabbed an outside table at Le Berry. What a contrast! Welcomed with a Bonjour et Bien venue by a pack of noisy friendly waiters. Inside was packed and wonderfully noisy. Had a beer, salad niçoise and the biggest croque madame I've ever seen all for €40.

18/05/2026: I'll give you my opinion, not on behalf of the group I was part of. Slight disappointment. I know the restaurant is located in the middle of the countryside, however, the three wet dogs wandering around the tables (along with the smell) might be part of the local tradition, but for me, it's a no-go; it's unacceptable in a restaurant. The desserts were sitting in the kitchen, uncovered, with flies taking full advantage... I liked the Garbure (a hearty vegetable and meat stew), perhaps too spicy (chili or pepper) for some. The confit was good but a bit dry, the gratin dauphinois was okay, and the crème brûlée was good, though I'm not sure it was homemade. Otherwise, the service was good, and the prices were reasonable for this type of restaurant. I recommend this place; with a few adjustments, it would be a good alternative to the Relais d'Aydie, which has closed permanently. We will return.

When you're in the business, you know what it means to create your own place, to take risks, and to champion your vision. And here, that vision is already clearly present: generous cuisine, beautiful ingredients, contemporary, without ever being pretentious. An accessible, relaxed place with real personality. This is exactly the kind of project I love to see emerge here: hard work, passion, sincerity, and above all, enjoyment. Congratulations to you both, you're already off to a fantastic start. ❤️
