19/09/2024: Nice place on the Bayonne riverfront. I really appreciate restaurants with fixed price menus even in the evening and in this case the proposal was really high quality, with just the right portions to happily get to dessert!

17/09/2024: My family and I stopped here for dinner and we had really high hopes, the reviews online looked really good and we were excited to try traditional local food. We started with the fois gras, and I went to the bathroom to wash my hands however by the time I came back the waiter was already back taking our main entree meals. I wasn’t ready to order so I told him that I needed an extra second to decide and to come back however he said that the kitchen was closing and that he couldn’t come back. Normally I would understand but it was 45 minutes before their official closing time and I felt super pressured which led me to order a burger because it was the first thing I saw. On top of this the same waiter continuously checked his watch and was incredibly eager to go home. I would understand if we were the last customers in the restaurant but it was still more than half full at this time and other tables hadn’t even ordered yet. The fois gras wasn’t too bad however the waiter didn’t tell us how small the portion size was, which made it hard to share between all of us. My family ordered the menu with an entree, main course and dessert. The entrees we received tasted okay at best, however the portion sizes were downsized compared to the rest of the menu which I felt was pretty predatory but nevertheless understandable considering the difference in price. Regardless I was more hopeful for the main courses however I was quickly disappointed by my burger which was incredibly dry, and as seen in one of the pictures the sauce and caramelized onions were all bunched up in one spot of the burger leaving most of it dry and flavorless and one bite of it incredibly overpowering. The bread was super dry and irritated the roof of my mouth which was very unappealing. Additionally the fries were way overcooked and I felt like I almost broke my teeth while eating them. The salad was once again okay at best because it was frankly flavorless and their “vinaigrette” was just mayonnaise. The fish that my sister had ordered had absolutely no flavor, the sauce that was left over wasn’t even worth scooping up with bread. I was happy that the chef accommodated my other sister, who is vegetarian, and let us change out the main course with a vegetarian option. She got the truffle mushroom ravioli which was the only good tasting thing we had that night, so maybe the chef should stick to vegetarian dishes. Another thing that irked me a lot was that towards the end of our meal, when the waiter started putting the chairs up they put the feet of the chairs directly on the table top (as seen in the pictures). Not only is this probably a health violation but it’s simply disgusting who would want to eat on the same table where the feet of the chairs stay?! I’m not sure if we got unlucky or came too close to closing, but I would definitely not recommend this place if you come within 3 hours of closing or you have a very high chance of getting rushed out. I also wouldn’t recommend being the first in the restaurant because I doubt they clean the tables after taking the dirty chair feet off of them.

04/09/2024: Very friendly and very good. Were a little too late. We also got a daily plate with dessert. The homemade chocolate cake simply has to be tried. Just 4 stars from me

26/09/2025: Thank you to David and Marina and their teams who did an excellent job for our wedding, a well-stocked and excellent cocktail followed by very professional table service which was unanimously appreciated by our guests and ourselves. If you are looking for a caterer for your events, do not hesitate to contact them, they will listen to you and will delight you!

26/09/2024: 10/10! You should know that the menu available on the internet is no longer up to date... today it is offered a single dish (rib of beef) in two different menus to choose from (with different starters and desserts), and unlimited cider for 35€, or 39€ depending on the formula chosen But we really enjoyed it, it was excellent from start to finish, and very generous in portions! And helping yourself to the barrels of different ciders adds a fun side and the waiter who advises us is very nice, thank you we had a good time!

26/09/2024: What a great discovery! Frankly the best (and biggest) rib of beef and Basque ciders that we have had the chance to discover and all that at a very fair price. A big thank you to Joël our server who accompanied us very well during our meal.

11/12/2025: For my first time, I wasn't disappointed. The pastry was thin and crispy on the edges, just the way I like it, and the filling was absolutely delicious. Plus, the prices are very reasonable! I highly recommend it; I thoroughly enjoyed it!

03/01/2025: I recently had the opportunity to stay at a lovely two-star hotel, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Despite its category, the hotel stands out for its customer service and comfort, offering a warm and pleasant stay. The rooms are simple but well maintained, with the essentials to rest comfortably. The cleanliness was impeccable, and although there were no frills, the details were well thought out: a comfortable bed, good lighting and enough space to move around. Excellent location and services.

25/09/2025: Quite expensive, but they take advantage of the fact that it's all they have. We ordered hamburgers (sandwiches), which were average, but €16 each with fries.

14/10/2025: Very good food at an incredible price. We ordered the Nafarroa, the Basque Burger, a drink, a chocolate mousse, and two coffees. All for €32. Impressive. They also have the friendliest waitress in the world 🫶 Outstanding.

20/11/2025: I'm giving one star for the staff's smiles. To begin with, there was no heating; we were told it would warm up with the crowds. No Beaujolais Nouveau was offered on its release day. There was no choice of menu; it was a set menu for workers, even though the website makes no mention of this and there's a nice menu with good ingredients. We managed to get the duck breast with honey sauce listed on the menu, but it didn't have the sauce. According to them, we should have specified when ordering that we wanted it. Apparently, according to the owner, this restaurant will close and reopen in January. It's best to wait for the reopening before going.

19/10/2025: A really pleasant time spent, both in terms of the setting, the welcome and the dishes, TOP quality/price. The staff was super friendly and also gave my little dog an exceptional welcome. Being from the region, I don't know it, and well, I'm sure I'll come back. Thank you very much.

06/09/2024: The comments were laudatory but unfortunately. The first dish is brought to us at the same time as the aperitif, too bad, and then after 1 hour of waiting the dish served is almost cold, we send it back to the kitchen 3 times, no better. To end it all, my friend didn't get what she ordered. In short, nothing is going well. We lost our patience and asked for the bill; the only commercial gesture was to offer us an aperitif. The very embarrassed waiter does not understand what is happening in the kitchen. Table that I absolutely do not recommend. We came for dinner on Wednesday September 4 in the evening.

05/09/2024: Very small room, the bed was comfortable. The restaurant is very noisy, a lot of people, the food is good, but the service a little slow. The staff is pleasant.

31/12/2025: A very pleasant crêperie. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent crêpes. Customer comfort is clearly a priority. Facing the mountains. We will gladly return.
