21/07/2024: A huge thank you to David and Marina who prepared everything for our party. It was a cold meal, with exceptional meat, fish to die for, salads each fresher than the last...! And a raspberry bush which was unanimously appreciated. The presentation was also great. In short, thanks to them everything was perfect and we had nothing but compliments from the guests. 28/08/2024: "O Gascon" is a restaurant that we highly recommend and which, in addition to its gastronomic offer, convinces with the total commitment of its service staff. Always friendly and attentive, they even lent us their own jackets when the temperatures dropped after dark. In addition to the very successful "Magret de Canard" accompanied by a red wine from the region, it is worth mentioning in particular the "Cassoulet avec son thigh de Canard" which, as a delicacy foreign to the region (in fact originating from Carcassonne ), is presented as the specialty of the house at the risk of triggering a diplomatic crisis. On the taste level, a multitude of senses are attuned and always pushed with distinction, so that this supraregional dish is conceived as the ambassador of distant homelands.

15/09/2024: Très bons produits et bien préparés. Prix un peu élevés et personnel en saison un peu débordé. Pensez à réserver. Terrasse bruyante.

14/09/2024: On arrive à 2 adultes un bébé à midi et on est seul. Pressé on commande deux plats ( filets frites 32€ ) et une assiette enfant frite jambon 12€ ( sans même une boule de glace ) Bref 1/2 h pour avoir le plat alors que le restaurant est vide. Le filet rien à dire tendre. En revanche les frites in mangeable trop cuite des pelets de bois de chauffage. Et au prix du plat ça doit pas arriver. Surtout que à la question du serveur : Tout va bien? Je répond viande ok mais les frites sont trop cuites. La je m’attend à j’en relance ?? Rien le mec il me dit ok je note Bref 2 plats une assiette enfant un verre de vin 90€ On se croirait à Paris rue des Champs Elysées sans la prestation. Ça a bien changé et il ne mérite pas d’être dans le top 5 les tarifs ce sont embourgeoisés mais pas la prestation. D’autres adresses à proximité ( buvette de la halle) mérite mieux et offre un rapport qualité prix service bien meilleur.

02/11/2024: Restaurant qui se veut chic et bien non . À 29€ le plat ( gigot d’agneau) certes bon mais sans plus . Une lotte sans plus aussi . Nous avons du demander du pain tellement ce fut peu copieux . Saveurs à ce prix là non au rendez vous . Je rentre le ventre vide en ayant mangé tout le pain certes très bon lol !!!!

31/10/2024: A chaque fois que je vais à biarritz, j y déjeune L endroit est situé à côté du marché avec une jolie terrasse Les serveuses sont adorables et toujours de très bons conseils, merci à elles Les plats sont très bons, copieux et recherchés

For those looking for a refuge surrounded by stunning landscapes and preserved nature, this is the ideal destination. Definitely a place worth revisiting!

02/12/2024: For an aperitif or a restaurant in front of the ocean at absolutely magnificent sunset, this is the ideal place. In high season, given the place with its large parking lot nearby, the atmosphere and the view, you will have to be patient if you come unexpectedly. However, there is the possibility of booking.

02/11/2024: Très bel endroit pour manger ou prendre un verre face à la mer . Nous avons pris le burger à 19€ très bien avec un pichet de rosé à 50cl à 10€

12/10/2024: Authentic atmosphere of yesteryear, albeit low season, unfortunately too limited options (30 minutes) to order dinner, but generous to provide a tasty, large pot of soup... Lots of potential in an otherwise dead village environment. Work on it. We will definitely come back if we pass through. Grtn

14/09/2024: Few hotels have welcomed us as well as the Hotel Richelieu. We were doing the Transpirinaica on a road motorcycle and the rain and fog on the Tourmalet stretch to the hotel was very hard. To the point of arriving at the hotel at 8:45 a.m., which in France is finding everything closed. Well, Viviane, who knew about our setback, had prepared an excellent hot and super filling dinner for us. His welcome was splendid, he had the table ready for us to have dinner. A very familiar and pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and very acceptable. We slept very well. I sincerely hope to repeat the Transpirinaica and we will certainly stop and have a restaurant at the Hotel Richelieu. Thank you very much Viviane for your great courtesy!!! See you!!
