06/05/2026: A must-visit in Pau. It embodies the true spirit of a bistro: generous portions and impeccable service. Special mention goes to the bavette steak, perfectly prepared from start to finish. The value for money is exceptional (€16 for the set menu of main course and dessert), and you can tell the ingredients are treated with respect. A perfect experience from beginning to end.

09/10/2025: We spent the night of October 8, 2025, at the Benat Hotel in Anglet. A wonderful welcome from the owner, who waited for us even though it was supposed to be closing. The room is small but spotlessly clean, with a small but adequate bathroom, a TV, and a super comfortable bed. The toilet is on the landing, except for a small downside, but for one night, it's not a big deal. A nice and pleasant breakfast. What can I say? A pleasant break in a beautiful location with a super friendly and pleasant owner. Géraldine and Fred from Fleurance, Gers.

11/04/2026: You walk in and say hello, the owner is chatting about her life with a customer, you wait patiently until she's finished, you're invisible, and she'll ignore you and never even say hello! The waitress is running around, answering you quickly and leaving before you've even finished speaking…!!! The owner is no better, completely indifferent to his new customers and won't make any effort! The interior and decor… A charmless canteen with expensive, basic dishes lacking any real flair. Very noisy inside and not very comfortable. We gave them a chance, not letting our first impression fool us, but… we should have trusted it. Unfriendly, no effort, not welcoming, not very comfortable. Apparently, they don't need new customers.

17/11/2025: The staff were super friendly and efficient. We asked for a 30-minute meal and we had lunch for five people in 25 minutes. Thank you so much!

28/02/2026: Hello, we chose the €31 set menu with foie gras and chicken in a pot. The foie gras was of poor quality, probably a budget option. As for the chicken in a pot, it wasn't a real chicken in a pot at all, but rather a chicken boiled in a pot of water. It had no flavor and lacked tomato sauce. 🍅... It's a shame that the restaurant Chez Oliver next door is closed, or perhaps the former owners of the Henri IV could show them how to make it properly. Unfortunately, there are very few restaurants left where you can enjoy a good chicken in a pot, and you have to go a bit further from the château. The dessert was satisfactory.

09/12/2025: A classic local spot. They have daily specials and set menus, and then pizzas. You can go with children and strollers. The food is great.

15/11/2025: The service was impeccable, the pizzas excellent, and the tiramisu was amazing! We ate there two nights in a row because we enjoyed it so much.

29/05/2026: We had a lovely time at your restaurant, L'Indigo, on Thursday, May 28th. My husband had the "Nashi Sour" aperitif, which he loved; he wasn't familiar with this Japanese pear blend. My son had the Virgin Mojito, and my daughter and I had the Citrus Sweetness, which was also excellent. Then we ordered three mussels and fries: two with cream sauce and one with blue cheese. They were excellent and very generous portions, especially the mussels. My son also had the burger, and to finish, we had three ice cream sundaes and a delicious Nutella crepe. PS: We loved the company of the adorable little birds.

27/05/2026: The mussels in cream sauce I ordered last night were extremely salty. They were really bad... they need to revise their recipe; it was way too salty and tasted like blue cheese. I only ate the mussels on top because the bottom, covered in sauce, was inedible. My partner wanted a burger without lettuce and tomato, but we were told it wasn't possible. We were just asking for fewer things in the burger, which logically meant less work. We were told no. Anyway, the waiter who took our order wasn't very pleasant, he was overwhelmed, and it's going to be a long season for him! The only positive points were the fries, which were good, and the setting is beautiful.

13/06/2026: The setting was very pleasant. We should have been given a little more time to enjoy our aperitif; the first course arrived too quickly. It's a shame that vaping isn't allowed on the terrace. Otherwise, a very fond memory of our time at A6la Maison.

04/06/2026: I came on Tuesday evening for a meal my son treated me to for Mother's Day. The setting was very pleasant, overlooking the river. For me, the prices were a bit high, but the quality was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and everything was homemade, even the ice cream, which was delicious. I'll definitely be back.
