20/05/2026: I love it! A very rural golf course, unique in that it's made up of two sections about 2 km apart, which you cover by golf cart. Not very complicated, but still quite hilly with some tricky slopes.

11/05/2026: After a wedding, drinks reception and tapas, there was a feeling of not enough because it was so delicious!!!

05/05/2026: Having visited last year, I stopped by again, this time with my family, after a long walk. We opted for a ribeye steak to share. It was cooked to absolute perfection, the meat tender and flavorful – pure bliss! The staff were pleasant and welcoming, and the place was bright and spacious with an outdoor terrace. I will definitely return and highly recommend it!

06/05/2026: Visiting Bidart once or twice a year, this was our first time discovering the restaurant Le Cucaracha. After being approached by the manager (thinking it was closed), we went in despite it being open and thoroughly enjoyed the à la carte menu. It was sublime, especially the dessert made with apple, walnuts, caramelized fruit, whipped cream, and sheep's milk curd: simply the best! Thank you, we'll be back.

16/06/2026: A perfect 10 experience. The service was excellent: all the waiters were very friendly, attentive, and pleasant at all times. We also enjoyed a terrace with incredible views, and a highlight was that they allow dogs, which we greatly appreciated as we could eat with our dog. For our main course, we ordered calamari with tartar sauce, which was spectacular. For our second course, we had a fish dish with vegetables, egg, and cheese, and grilled beef with potatoes and salad; both were delicious and beautifully presented. To finish, we had two scoops of ice cream, which were fantastic. In total, the meal for two people with two IPA beers came to €67, which we found to be excellent value for money considering the quality of the food, the ambiance, and the service. Without a doubt, a highly recommended place that we will definitely return to.

26/04/2026: We're used to stopping at Café de l'Europe on the road to Lanne Barétous! Usually a good, inexpensive lunch! This time, for a simple plate of food, we waited: 30 minutes to order plus another 40 minutes to be served! And the restaurant wasn't even full, far from it. When we asked what the problem was, the response was clearly meant to make us feel like we were being taken for a fool… Do you have to have a Basque accent to be treated with respect as a customer?

22/05/2026: Nice restaurant with a beautiful view, good food, however, not all the products are French, which is a shame. Also, the tables are close together, like in a bistro. Finally, a bit pricey... you're paying for the view.

15/05/2026: The food was absolutely delicious. We had veal axoa and baby squid, and it was fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

14/05/2026: This is food for tourists used to eating bad food! It's really not good, low-quality, bordering on disgusting, the knives smelled of spoiled fish and were rubbery, and on top of that, it was expensive! I complained to the manager who seemed outraged by this, but I was still charged for such a bad meal.

19/03/2026: La Pergola is the casino where my wife and I first played, brought by our friends Norbert and Elisabeth, who lived on Rue de la République at the time. For a first try, it was a resounding success. Furious at having lost, I threw my last few coins into a machine. I won enough to buy my wife a superb pair of handmade red espadrilles, which she had been wanting, and I treated everyone to the restaurant "La Banquise," if I'm not mistaken, where the four of us shared a delicious and generous seafood platter. Amazing! René
