26/07/2026: A very good restaurant; we went twice, ordering pizzas (Gina and Gargantua). The crust is thin with plenty of toppings and good quality ingredients. The thin crust is unique and allows you to better appreciate the other ingredients. They offer sweet and savory pizzas with tomato or cream bases at affordable prices (€17 for a pizza with duck breast). We also saw plates of baby squid, which were also generously portioned. The restaurant also offers desserts; they are large, indulgent, and above all, delicious. The tiramisu is a true tiramisu (cocoa, mascarpone, and coffee-soaked sponge cake), not a dessert in a glass like you see these days. The service was very welcoming and accommodating; Tess was quickly taken care of and moved us inside at our request because the wind was blowing very strongly (they weren't obligated to do so at all). The restaurant is worth the detour, and worth the 10-minute drive from Saint-Jean-de-Luz to eat a pizza or something else.

01/08/2026: Don’t go here. Staff has an arrogant attitude. Place was empty when we got there. We said hello and were going to sit down. But we were told in a very unfriendly way, that we should have waited without touching any chair. Even after we were shown a different table, the lady kept going on about it. That is not the way to treat customers, so we left.

01/06/2026: Great restaurant. The setting is lovely. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, made with quality ingredients. It's perfect for lunch when you're working! The service is quick and allows you to relax without having to wait long for your food.

28/06/2026: As an owner, when you receive a complaint about your food, you don't stand at a table over someone like a dominant, annoying person and tell them how fresh your food is when it's rubbish. Go eat at the neighbors' and not at this very annoying man's.

12/07/2026: Having stayed there for a short week on a group holiday, I loved my time at this hotel: incredibly friendly staff and a family atmosphere, delicious and generous meals, a wide variety of choices at breakfast, a lovely pool, and a great location near major cities! And their guide, Sandrine, is truly amazing. The only slight downside is that not all rooms have air conditioning.

21/07/2026: Without any hesitation! 👍 I highly recommend this bistro where I went for lunch today with my son. It's true that my Pyrenees trout wasn't the freshest of the bunch, but all I had to do was mention it to the waiter, and he exchanged it without any fuss or argument! Yum, yum, that trout was so good! (It can happen in this heat). We also thoroughly enjoyed the refreshing watermelon and tomato soup. My son was very happy with the duck, which was cooked perfectly and served with homemade fries. To finish: two tiramisu with red berries and pistachios...a pure delight! Despite the slight hiccup with the first trout, I highly recommend it, both for your taste buds, which will be thrilled, and for your wallet!

17/05/2026: How can I put it… A typical biker hotel/rest stop in the region, full of charm and authenticity. The welcome is warm and friendly. The food is breathtaking: excellent, generous, and very hearty dishes. A truly wonderful place that I recommend without hesitation!

11/03/2026: I loved this hotel; it's a beautiful, very old building. The decor is rustic in the bar and dining room (and I mean that as a compliment!). There's a grand, majestic staircase leading to the rooms (there's also an elevator). In the rooms: large antique doors, large windows, etc... You feel transported back in time. We were lucky enough to get a room with a bathtub, which was incredibly pleasant after a day of skiing. It's also lovely to have an aperitif or tea in the hotel bar, or to enjoy a meal in the restaurant in the evening, which serves local dishes; the menu is very generous. The breakfast is very generous for the price; there's a wide variety of options. I highly recommend this hotel, which I think offers excellent value for money. The owners are very friendly. We will definitely be back.

14/07/2026: We had a truly timeless experience in the hammam. We opted for the package that included access to the hammam, a black soap scrub, and a one-hour massage. The hammam is very clean and the services are excellent. We enjoyed a delicious mint tea to conclude our escape. We were so completely relaxed that we lost track of time. Thank you.

Instead, I had the pleasure of experiencing true relaxation, with a complimentary tea at the end. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxing and peaceful. 26/07/2026: A wonderful discovery, and yet we come back every time! The owner is very pleasant and welcoming. The cuisine is refined, flavorful, and always beautifully presented. We are never disappointed with our visit. It's always a real pleasure to return!

26/07/2026: Given the quality and quantity of the dishes, the set menus were really inexpensive. Aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, coffee: 72 euros for two. Excellent. Returning five years later, disappointed. The entrecôte wasn't really an entrecôte (it was sirloin), and it was almost overcooked. There was a mosquito infestation. The positive point: the perfect egg was excellent.
