25/09/2024: We slept Sunday and Monday night. We booked this hotel, which is in the first town across the French border, because they advertise a heated pool. Surprise that we arrived at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday and they were waiting for us to check-in and close. The boy, very kind, gave us all the instructions. Among them, the brasserie restaurant was closed. The thing is that we couldn't find any place in town to have dinner. We went to cross the border to see if we could find something in Spain and it was like a ghost town. So without dinner in bed On Monday, we intended to enjoy the heated pool and, surprise! The one that is free was closed for "maintenance" (we did not see any work on it) so the alternative was the Spa at €29 per person. A little too expensive! So we were left without a bathroom! On Tuesday when we checked out, they apologized to us and offered us the pool. After our refusal, they offered us 1 hour of Spa but in the afternoon. We had to return to Spain and we declined the offer. A shame about the bad experience we have had. The hotel is very cool and by the way, the restaurant was also closed on Monday night, but this time it caught us with supplies. I think that a hotel that wants to have 4* cannot do without giving dinners to its clients. By the way, it's difficult to understand each other because they don't speak Spanish and they understand it a little like that, like that.

24/09/2024: A hotel not to be missed under any circumstances in the charming, fabulously Basque town of Ainhoa ​​:) Top-notch service, welcome and room! And breakfast, a delight in fresh, local products. The scrambled eggs are to die for :) Thanks to the friendly owners, we will surely come back to celebrate the end of the year :)

13/09/2024: Petit resto très sympa face à la mer donc belle vue. Menu du midi entree plat dessert qualité prix imbattable salade de chipirons, sauté de veau légumes et crème brûlée maison. Bon choix de vins et bières basques. Patron très sympa que demander de plus... Pas de bling bling ici c l assiette qui compte...

03/09/2024: An excellent meal from starter to dessert with delicious sangria. We had a great time, the portions were generous, the prawns were delicious and fresh, the grilled hake with squid ink tagliatelle was to die for. In short, I recommend going through the Odyssey if you are passing through Hendaye

16/09/2024: Endroit parfait pour visiter les grottes et manger local Foie gras poêlé excellent. Le service est parfait, très bon accueil, ne pas hésiter à demander des bons d réduction pour la grotte

05/08/2024: Accueil chaleureux. Endroit calme au mieu de la verdure..Esprit familial. Le restaurant est vieillissant mais les plats sont délicieux et fait maison avec des produits locaux. Présentation simple. La patronne fait tout pour ses clients. Elle est vraiment agréable. Cependant Le rapport qualité prix est élevé. Compter 55 euro en moyenne par personne vin compris. A découvrir si vous êtes de passage .

31/08/2024: An exceptional culinary experience! Having informed in advance that I am vegetarian, the manager was able to brilliantly adapt to my diet. As a vegetarian, I have never eaten so well. Special mention for the gazpacho as a starter, a real explosion of flavors in the mouth… absolutely incredible.

26/08/2024: This one-woman-show is doing some riskily creative things for a midweek set menu, with ingredients that reflect the season, was lovely! She treated our dog well too. The only thing is that it was quite warm, both inside and outside, but hey, it's August!

02/09/2024: We had a very nice experience in the restaurant with very tasty food. The hake with Spanish rice was excellently prepared. The service was very friendly and attentive even though we arrived shortly before the kitchen closed in the afternoon. Profiterole at the end was perfect.

22/08/2024: Restaurant where you don't really have to be Vegan, the dishes are delicious, the bucolic setting and the service is top notch!

17/08/2024: Very slow service by employees who we felt like they were bothering us. You have to ask for the same thing several times before you get it almost reluctantly. No problem seeing someone arrive when you have to pay the bill. Small consolation!

15/08/2024: Today at 2:20 p.m., on the terrace, unwelcoming service, very long... I do not recommend.

29/11/2024: Avons mangé en entrée une assiette de coquilles saint Jacques en carpaccio, puis du lieu noir accompagné de risotto arrosés d’un verre de Chablis, et en dessert un crumble avec framboises . Tout était parfait et délicieux, la cuisine , le service et les portions, d’où ma surprise d’avis critiquant des portions insuffisantes et le reste. Pour nous c’était parfait , le soleil en plus sur la terrasse et un accueil chaleureux.

28/09/2024: Repas médiocre, le lieu est top mais la nourriture vraiment pas bonne, portions minuscules, toujours les mêmes plats et les conditions de vente sont à revoir; si vous réservez pour 8 et qu'il y a 2 absents, même si vous prévenez le matin pour le soir, les 8 seront facturés. A fuir!

24/08/2024: Un très joli restaurant où l’on vous accueille avec attention et gentillesse. Leur priorité est que vous soyez satisfaits à tous les niveaux. Les plats sont très bons et le service est rapide. Merci beaucoup pour cet accueil qui nous donne envie de revenir sur Bayonne.

21/08/2024: Pudimos reservar con antelación. Esta relativamente cerca de la Catedral, sl otro.lado del río. El.local tiene mesas en un patio trasero entre los edificios, con un árbol q tapa el sol y hace que se esté muy agradable, sin calor. Tienen un menu diario a 17€, a elegir entre dos entrantes, platos principales y postres, el bizcocho de chocolate y pera estaba muy bueno, además tenían algunos más como flan o arroz con leche. En general estaba todo bueno, cantidades discretas. Llegas y en la mesa hay una jara con agua q te reponen siempre q quieras. Wc limpios. Servicio amable y algún camarero habla algo de castellano. La única pega q le pondría han sido.los tiempos de espera, pero cuando el comedor está muy lleno debe ser dificil gestionar tanto.plato.

17/09/2024: Great ! A very pleasant welcome, by a charming and attentive young girl. I was even able to visit a room the day before my reservation, to get an idea. Very quiet location with a view of the ocean from the small balcony. Very very good stay, I highly recommend this establishment!
