17/08/2024: Bonjour , je ne comprend pas du tout certains commentaites qui denîgrent cet etablissement , ou alors ils se trompent d'endroit , lors de nôtre cure thermale nous y sommes aller dejeuner et diner plusieurs fois , nous avons joujours eu un exelent accueil , avec toujours le sourire de la patronne et des seveuses . Nous y sommes allé en couple ou avec des amis , rien à redire sur la qualité des repas et que ce soit viande,poisson ou autre . Bien sur ce n'est pas un 5 etoiles , mais pour le modeste prix du repas servi , on s'y retouve tres largement .la patonne et les serveuses sont trés à l'écoute de leur clients . Il est preferable de reserver pour le soir car s'est assez chargé . Nous y sommes allé pour nôtre dernier diner avont nôtre retour vers la Picardie et l'etabissement nous â offert nos consomations en nous souhaitant un tres bon retour ! Jamais aucun autre restaurant n'avait eu ce geste avant . Un grand merci à toute leur équipe , un endroit tres amical comme on en fait plus .

10/01/2025: Went in and out as quickly, rigid waiter who for his organization does not want us to sit at 1 table ready! 4 seats in the maxi room on this January midday, he continues making us wait to take the order while he does nothing at the counter, we leave!

03/12/2024: We ate at your place this evening. My husband had the €30 menu. And me a rhune salad. Everything was perfect. The wine by the glass, the bottle was presented to us which is rare enough to be specified. Very professional and friendly waiters. I recommend it 200%

06/12/2023: I go to Pottock quite often, for the simple reason that I find this place a bit magical. We are always very well received there, the service is fast. And the kitchen is perfect. I have never been disappointed. And the icing 🍒 on the cake is near my home.

16/09/2024: Never, oh never have I bought a sandwich like this. 1 slice of cheese! 1 salad leaf (damn, what’s more) and that’s it!! frankly unacceptable.

31/08/2024: Nous avons déjeuné dans ce restaurant un midi. Nous avons été placé à l’arrière dans la cour. Je ne le conseille pas, nous avons subi une attaque en règle par des moustiques affamés ! Les assiettes servies sont très conséquentes. La cuisine est simple et familiale. Le serveur est très agréable.

30/08/2024: Restau très agréable à Saint Jean, avec très belle terrasse ombragée. Les assiettes complètes sont un peu chères mais c'est un lieu très touristique donc, pas sureprenant. Serveur et serveuse au top, mais patron au bar.... très désagréable. Restaurant qui indique accepter les chèques vacances mais qui fait des réflexion aux clients pour "payer cash" et qui finalement décide de ne pas accepter les chèques vacances en illimité... c'était très limite. Dommage.

13/09/2024: Don't be fooled by the name: it is not just a café, but also a restaurant where you eat very well. We tried the chipirrons a la plancha and they were excellent: tender, tasty and in quantity. The homemade desserts were another pleasant discovery. The courtesy of the owner, always smiling, is another reason to stop here. Absolutely recommended.

25/09/2024: We got to know the three sisters and the restaurant just after it opened in Biarritz. We came back to it this week. It’s nice to see what this family home has become! Very warm welcome, the meal was excellent and the view exceptional. The decor is also very nice. We will come back! Thank you for your perseverance in this not always easy profession!

27/08/2024: Recommandé comme endroit agréable et sympathique par des amis, avec ma femme nous décldons de nous faire plaisir et réservons pour deux à 12h45 ce 25 août. Eh bien, plaisir resté à la porte ! Accueil du barman à peine aimable qui nous laisse la sale impression de le déranger ; pointant du doigt, il nous montre la table de loin en nous signifiant qu'on viendra nous voir. Une serveuse à l'aspect peu reluisant arrive en nous conseillant un "poulet frites en plat du jour" et nous jette les menus qui réussissent à glisser jusqu'à nos mains. Malgré une terrasse loin d'être comble, au bout d'un quart d'heure toujours pas de proposition d'apéritif.... 😡 Allez, on se casse ! Travaillant dans la restauration, ma femme explique son point de vue avant de sortir. Dommage pour ce beau site laissé aux mains d'une équipe de Jean-foutres.

27/08/2024: Recommended as a pleasant and friendly place by friends, my wife and I decided to treat ourselves and booked for two at 12:45 p.m. this August 25. Well, pleasure left at the door! Welcome from the barely friendly bartender who leaves us with the unpleasant impression of disturbing him; pointing with his finger, he shows us the table from a distance, telling us that someone will come and see us. A waitress with a lackluster appearance arrives recommending “chicken and fries as the special of the day” and throws us the menus which manage to slip into our hands. Despite a terrace that is far from full, after a quarter of an hour still no aperitif offer.... 😡 Come on, let's get out of here! Working in the restaurant business, my wife explains her point of view before heading out. Too bad for this beautiful site left in the hands of a team from Jean-foutres.

19/09/2024: I just spent a little time looking at the reviews on olhabidea, one of my favorite tables...I laughed a lot!! especially the opinions on the "service". then we start again and put things back in place: if you like to eat well with very large dishes in large dishes themselves in small dishes...if you love bows and bows....if you need to order anywhere like at home...go your way....olhabidea is THE family home of Jean and Guillaume who are our hosts. each table, each plate, each magnificent bouquet has a soul....here reigns charm, warmth, a delicate simplicity, and extraordinary cuisine...so many things that we no longer find so easily....if all this speaks to you: go for it you won't regret it!!!! Concerning me very much this evening for a dinner with friends which can only be a moment of happiness in this place!!!

15/09/2024: The setting is pleasant, our dish of suckling pig was good but it is a shame that the service was unpleasant: I had chosen a chocolate parfait with raspberries, when the plate arrived, raspberries did not come and when I asked where they were, I was told in a very curt tone that there should be no more. Instead, under the whipped cream, three small strips of pears... We will not return to this restaurant, the pleasure has been spoiled.

08/09/2024: Très bon repas malgré l'attente mais il faut dire qu'elles n'étaient que deux pour le service et que le resto était plein ainsi que la terrasse. Nous avons été très bien servis

08/09/2024: While passing through, we ate outside piled on top of each other. The cuisine is honest but the atmosphere is not there.

22/09/2024: Quality hotel, very nice room. Room not ready when we arrived and disappointing breakfast. No pastries

02/09/2024: The hotel is very well located. On the other hand, it is shabby. Our room did not lock on several occasions. We realized this when we left the room and checked that no one could enter. The first time we were given a handle (?!!) to open it ourselves while it was repaired the next day. The 2nd time they really fixed the problem. In itself it's not extremely serious, it's just not very reassuring to know that anyone can enter your room. The room itself… very damp, broken shutter (impossible to close), and certain broken or damaged elements (handles, etc.). Will I go back? Perhaps, the hotel is very well located between the forest and the beach, you can do everything on foot. But I wouldn't particularly recommend this hotel if you find something else nearby.
