31/05/2026: Absolutely delicious chocolate éclair. It was very generously filled with chocolate cream and made with high-quality chocolate.

11/04/2026: The waitress was very friendly, the muffins were excellent, and the pizzas too! And there was still some bread left when they closed.

25/09/2026: The food was very good, although I found it slightly expensive for what was offered. On average, expect to pay €15 to €22 for a starter, €20 to €30 for a main course, and between €8 and €10 for a dessert. We were initially served by a woman, probably the manager. My partner asked her a question about a dish. Visibly unfriendly, she walked back to the bar, saying, in an irritated manner and in Spanish, "Oh, city folk..." It's a shame, because for me, this somewhat spoiled the experience. My partner speaks Spanish and therefore perfectly understood this remark made in Spanish right in front of us. It's really not very pleasant to hear as a customer. We didn't see her again for the rest of the meal, and we were then served by two young, very friendly and professional waiters. So it’s a place where you eat well, but where it’s perhaps best to avoid asking too many questions… No thanks when paying the bill, nor asking if you had a good time.

24/09/2026: Owner or manager who dares to be disrespectful. They served me expired rice; the smell permeated the entire table, and when we pointed it out, they reacted badly. The food is bad, and madam, if you see my comment, change careers. You need class for this industry. 😘

04/09/2026: A very pleasant golf course, always perfectly maintained. It's a real pleasure to play here in such a lovely setting. The welcome at the Pro Shop is always so warm and friendly, which is much appreciated. However, a slight drawback concerns the restaurant: the service at the bar is a little less impressive and could be more in line with the quality of the course.

19/09/2026: The coffee is terrible; it's astonishing how bad it can be. The service is also very poor; they're rude and quite unpleasant. Plus, it's an expensive place. I recommend avoiding it.

25/12/2025: Is it still open?! On December 24th, it was listed as open until 6 PM on Google's special hours for that day, but in the end, the doors were closed. Not a word, nothing. Nobody there, even though we had driven across town to get there 😭 with my parents, who live 800km away and adore Pailhasson chocolates from Pau... I've been a customer since 2020, first in Tarbes and then in Pau, and I was so disappointed myself.

07/11/2025: Shop closed. Incorrect opening hours. I made a special trip... frustrating.

30/05/2026: A small hotel with a beautiful view of Port-Vieux Beach. We had a deluxe room, plenty of space, and it was very clean. All the amenities and furniture were in good condition. The breakfast was modest—continental—but reasonably priced. You can also order an omelet or other items from the menu for an extra fee. There's no elevator, but the staff carried our luggage up and out of the room. Overall, our stay was very good. I'd love to come back and spend more time there.

25/05/2026: Dinner with friends, delicious cocktails, excellent food, and top-notch service with great wine recommendations. Bravo and thank you! The view, of course, only added to the pleasure...

11/10/2026: The Café Central became our favorite cafe during September '26 when we rented an apartment nearby. We went here almost every morning for coffee, croissants, and fresh squeezed orange juice and we also enjoyed many meals here that were consistently excellent. The servers were all great,( special shout out to Regis!) and the managers always made us feel welcome. My favorite dish on the menu is the duck confit. They have an excellent happy hour, it's a great place to have a pint of Grimbergen and watch the people (and dogs!) go by on the Rue Cler.

11/10/2026: Great location but the staff will try to scam you if you're foreign. They came to me today, called out 101 euros and when I requested the bill, it was 83.50. Could be great, ended up to be a 1 star. Stay away

03/10/2026: A disgrace! 22 euros for an industrial crepe with boiled potatoes and a so-called confit sausage (1/3 of a sausage was rock hard and inedible).

03/10/2026: An industrial crepe, 3 tons of potatoes, 4 or 5 slices of sausage, for dessert 2 scoops of ice cream, 22 euros, and that's the only menu available, what a businessman.

13/09/2026: A huge thank you to Fabrice "de la Ficolle" for his warm welcome and excellent service throughout this private event... superb cuisine from start to finish, fantastic music, and a magnificent view! I highly recommend it!

22/09/2026: It's been a long time since I left a restaurant hungry. The set menu was fish terrine, beef meatballs (4 pieces, approximately 100g each), and pasta (a portion large enough for a teenager). My wife changed her starter to a deviled egg (an extra €1.50), and I changed mine to croquettes (4 pieces, an extra €3). My main course was baby squid (4 pieces) served with 6 new potatoes (an extra €3). What a rip-off! The sight of the plates being presented suggests they were weighed to the gram. What a shame! I certainly won't be going back.

28/08/2026: They close for holidays without updating the schedule on Google maps, therefore receive one star on Google maps.

23/07/2026: Exceptional pizzas!!! The best in Pau. Friendly couple. It's a real shame the Google opening hours are wrong... I've gone three times during opening hours and found the door closed :/
