30/11/2024: Other than the good location, that's about all I liked about it. The room seems good but: - it is poorly soundproofed; - the light comes through the door (and when the sun rises in the east...); - the shower hose is too short so I couldn't put water on my hair (I'm 1m85); - room service (cleaning, making the bed, etc.) is optional. Supposedly for ecological reasons: how is not remaking a bed ecological??? (I understand about bath towels, as is often done now and that's normal); - there are electrical terminals to charge your car (advertised argument which made us choose this hotel) but it does not work... and the employees, surprised, did not even look for a solution; - we are offered a commercial gesture: -20% for our next stay... well thank you but no thank you. Don't want to come back at all!

29/08/2024: We found this restaurant by pure azar. We ate very well for a more than reasonable price. Too bad that such a beautiful and good restaurant will close its doors due to lack of buyers.

08/09/2024: Very nice location, nice restaurant, reasonable prices. But- the waiter made us wait so long, about 35 minutes, until we left again. He couldn't/wouldn't even take drinks for us. We probably weren't "establishment" or "haute couture" enough. The way people usually hang out in Biarritz. But then it's a good thing we didn't stay. Drink your wine alone and eat some fishy oysters... it is not mine. Not from my little daddy either.

24/06/2024: Booked the hotel because the recession was good and there was good dinner here. Unfortunately closed, it should have been somewhere. There is also no restaurant in the whole town. If we had known that we would have booked somewhere else. The bar is open in the evening, and luckily there is a little something that was also very tasty, the people were very friendly and very nice, thank you

06/11/2023: accueil chaleureux et authentique, très bons conseils. nous avons beaucoup apprécié le mélange "maison" appelé Deuza, délicieux café. le thé earl grey est très fin. et nous nous sommes régalés avec le chocolat. excellente adresse incontournable à Saint Jean de Luz. nous y retournerons lors de notre prochain séjour à Saint Jean

24/08/2024: Restaurant review only: We chose a lobster & foie gras menu at 72€/person. The appetizers were great. The rest disappointed us a lot for a 3*: - “Lobster & foie gras” starter: tiny portions, served on a bed of mixed greens and a half cherry tomato - Dish: served with vanilla puree, the same as that on the children's menu. Here again, we were left unsatisfied with the portions of lobster and foie gras. - the children's nuggets were overcooked, almost burnt. - the dessert from the adult menu: a pistachio ice cream with some red fruits was presented to us like a pavlova. It is clear that it has been “very revisited”: we are still looking for the pavlova meringue! The very kind waitress wanted to please our children with a surprise for dessert. Let's look for the surprise... In fact, a chocolate cream with crocodile candies and tagada strawberries. The very steep bill: €320! I obviously don't recommend it.

18/08/2024: What a pleasure at the table!! The service was perfect and all the dishes were excellent. The duck liver marble, the porcini mushroom raviolle, the duck breast and all the sweets were succulent.... with a smiling and very pleasant waitress. Thank you for this moment... I recommend 👍

16/12/2024: Employées agréables, elles font un maximum en étant en sous effectif. Nous avons été servi pour l’apéritif au moment du plat. Faux filet pas de qualité! Service très long….

13/12/2024: Nous remercions Charles pour le déroulement de la soirée que nous avons passé mon conjoint et moi-même dans des fous rires, une bonne ambiance. Charles dès le début nous a mis à l'aise, souriant, efficace en tout cas tous les ingrédients étaient là pour passer une bonne soirée

09/12/2024: I wanted to park in the parking lot in a space that was not at all reserved for the brewery at 7:30 p.m. Once all the shops are closed to dine in a nearby Asian restaurant. That it was not my surprise! A blonde lady forbids us from parking on the pretext that her clients are going to pass by on foot for a private party. She still told us “go park somewhere else to eat chintoc”. Not only is this racist, it is also extremely inappropriate! It is extremely unpleasant to behave like this. She was insulting and extremely unpleasant. Having already had lunch in this brasserie, it's over! What bad publicity! And what a lack of professionalism! Absolutely not commercial! Not: To answer the “trader”, this is absolutely false! I absolutely did not call you a “fat cunt”. In any case, I am sure that it is you who is answering because it is the same bad time! Offered two places ????? One was a pedestrian crossing and the other square had a metal bollard stipulating that parking was prohibited there. Sorry Madam but yes, the term “chintoc” is racist. You appropriated half of the parking lot that evening, including spaces that did not belong to you. I think it was therefore exaggerated on your part to bother us for places in the only area that you left “free”. It doesn't matter, it's over, I'll never set foot in your house again, which is a shame because the manager is very friendly!

12/09/2024: Lugar muy ruidoso , mal insonorizado . solo se puede mantener una conversación con la persona más cerana . Brunch muy justito . un buffet de hotel mediano tirando a bajo . No vale los 35 € . En cuanto a servicio , casi desaparecido .Ni se toman la molestia de sacar los platos sucios de las mesas . En el brunch solo entra una bebida caliente ... lo que es muy sorprendente para un Brunch . No aconsejable .

31/08/2024: Les plats sont délicieux, le lieu et l’ambiance sont très chaleureux. Une super adresse pour passer un bon repas en famille ou entre amis.
