04/05/2026: For the €20 set menu, the portions are small. We were still hungry after the meal. The fries were reheated. They serve you the meat without asking how you wanted it cooked. We had to ask several times for the wine we had ordered at the beginning of the meal! I do not recommend it.

04/05/2026: We had lunch at the old bistro inn. A friendly team who kept their spirits up despite the crowds of this long May weekend. Very well located. Simple but good food.

30/12/2025: We tried the Anglet shop and were quite disappointed. The staff were very friendly and smiling, and the shop itself was attractively presented, which made us want to go in. Unfortunately, the products didn't live up to our expectations. We bought some white pudding, thinking it was a safe bet: a huge disappointment. It had a very watery texture, was bland, with almost no seasoning and little flavor, which was a real shame. The pâté en croûte was okay, but without any distinctive flavor or noticeable seasoning, even though we don't usually eat savory food. We also wanted to buy a Basque cake: the price displayed was €4.80, but we were then told it was actually €48 per kilo, which made us decide against it. In the end, the MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) title had attracted us, but for €30 spent (5 white puddings and a slice of pâté en croûte), the value for money wasn't convincing. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

06/04/2026: We enjoyed the aperitif before dinner (and at lunch too…) every day of our holiday in Biarritz. We had their foie gras tapa and the white Côte de Gascogne every day. We also had their oysters and seafood at lunchtime. They have a great selection of wines by the glass (we really liked the Ivy No. 3 from Côtes de Gascogne, and also the Lanson Black Label champagne at a very reasonable price), and some very tempting platters and portions of excellent local products. The service was young and incredibly friendly; they treated us very well and professionally. Thank you!!

29/03/2026: Le Comptoir Du Foie Gras tapas bar is one of those places that perfectly captures the spirit of Biarritz. Located next to Les Halles, it's the ideal spot for a casual aperitif, with a lively and authentic atmosphere. The terrace and outdoor tables create the perfect place to relax, have a drink, and simply soak up the ambiance and the "people-watching" of Gente Guapa, an essential part of the experience. As for the food, their specialty—foie gras—is undoubtedly the star. The tapas are simple yet well-prepared, paired with good wines, making it a perfect stop for a light bite or aperitif. The service is usually quick and efficient. In short, a place with character, perfect for starting the evening or for a casual stop in the heart of Biarritz. Highly recommended for those seeking atmosphere, quality ingredients, and an authentic local experience.

18/04/2026: I've been a customer of this bar for several years and always enjoyed coming here. Unfortunately, my last experience was very disappointing. During our visit, a waiter spilled half of my freshly squeezed orange juice on me, completely staining me. He apologized, which I appreciated, of course; mistakes happen, and I reacted with understanding and goodwill. However, what's truly unacceptable is the complete lack of any compensation offered after this incident. We had simply ordered two coffees and two orange juices, and despite the situation, nothing was offered. It's not so much the accident itself that's the problem, but the lack of consideration shown to the customer afterward. This is all the more regrettable for an establishment I frequented. I hope this review will help improve customer service in this type of situation.

18/04/2026: Fantastic stay, as usual! Superb, very pleasant campsite. Beautiful unobstructed view from the mobile home. The green spaces are lovely and very well maintained. We've already had a chance to enjoy the pool. The accommodations are comfortable and modern, and the staff are very friendly! Looking forward to our next holiday! 🏖🌊🌴

07/10/2025: After taking the little train, we sat down at 7 p.m. on the terrace and asked for a drink and crepes. The owner refused, saying that it was time for the evening service and that it was too late. We stopped at the Hermine chalet a little further down where we were very well received and where we were able to eat our crepe and drink with the smile and good humor of the waitress.

25/04/2026: I'm giving it one star because unfortunately zero isn't an option: The service is subpar; the waiters are awful and belittled some of my students. There's also a clear lack of experience and enthusiasm among the staff. Politeness is foreign to them; they don't even say hello or goodbye. The speculoos in my gourmet coffee was mushy, and the meal was of extremely dubious quality. The dining room is in terrible condition (see photo): an unusable sink and dirty dishes. After a long bus journey, we came here seeking a little comfort, but it was a dreadful experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

25/04/2026: I am extremely disappointed!! I came once before and was extremely disappointed! I wanted to try again to give it a chance, and sure enough, it didn't disappoint! The receptionist is very pleasant and polite! However, in the kitchen, the staff are very, very unpleasant, lacking in politeness, and extremely disorganized. This is the second time I've come and eaten meat that was blue, even raw, when I ordered it rare; it was still frozen! I had to ask them to microwave it… The organization is terrible. It's unclear where the grill and the cooking area are located, and when you make a mistake and explain that it's not very well explained, you are met with a very unpleasant response. I quote: "Can't you see I don't have a grill in front of me? I can't cook your steak!" "As for the unlimited side dishes, there's never anything; the plates are always empty, and the frozen vegetables are swimming in water. I find that very disappointing! On the plus side: a fresh water fountain is available."

14/03/2026: My son just bought two baguettes, supposedly identical, and when we went to have them for breakfast, one of them was inedible. It was hard, stale bread. It's a shame because we're regulars at this place. But now we won't be. Is it because he's a child and children can be taken advantage of?

07/03/2026: Lunch on the terrace overlooking the slopes. Quick, efficient, and friendly service. The food is good and reasonably priced. Very satisfied with this place.
