05/09/2024: On top of that, we came to eat one evening with our little daughter, very well received, fast service and delicious dish, what can I say about the kindness of the waiters. We will come back as soon as we are in the region

08/09/2024: Very nice location, nice restaurant, reasonable prices. But- the waiter made us wait so long, about 35 minutes, until we left again. He couldn't/wouldn't even take drinks for us. We probably weren't "establishment" or "haute couture" enough. The way people usually hang out in Biarritz. But then it's a good thing we didn't stay. Drink your wine alone and eat some fishy oysters... it is not mine. Not from my little daddy either.

Tuesday September 17, small local restaurant for lunch.
Strawberry diabolo for €4.
Menu for €30 including fresh shrimp with chili mayonnaise, veal axoa (pronounced achoa) and chili crème brûlée.
Very good. Too bad the shrimp have to be peeled.
Mayonnaise and crème brûlée with particularly excellent chilli.

08/12/2023: Je suis venu accompagne de ma femme. Le service était irréprochable et d’une intimité propice à une belle soirée de couple.
L’expérience culinaire nous a fait voyagé dans ce vaste océan et ses douceurs iodée.
Les sommeliers ont su mettre en valeurs chaque vin avec ses plats.
Quel bon moment, j’y retournerai sans hésitation !

14/09/2024: J’avais commandé les rillettes de canard “fait maison” et je vois arriver une assiette avec un pâté rond avec la marque du couvercle imprimé dessus.
Cela sortait directement de la boite de conserve, comme vous l’avez compris.
On sentait bien la graisse dedans et pas trop la viande. Donc goût insipide.
De plus pas de chance, c’était le chaos complet sur la terrasse où le personnel avait mélangé les numéros de table.
Du coup tout les serveurs/serveuses étaient occupés à retrouver leurs petits plutôt que de s’occuper de leurs clients.
Soirée ratée!
07/09/2024: Buzzy atmosphere. Good range of local wines. I didn’t like my sausages as too grisly and the piperade was tasteless. But the beef axoa was excellent. Good service from the young staff.

25/09/2024: We got to know the three sisters and the restaurant just after it opened in Biarritz. We came back to it this week. It’s nice to see what this family home has become! Very warm welcome, the meal was excellent and the view exceptional. The decor is also very nice. We will come back! Thank you for your perseverance in this not always easy profession!
