25/12/2025: Is it still open?! On December 24th, it was listed as open until 6 PM on Google's special hours for that day, but in the end, the doors were closed. Not a word, nothing. Nobody there, even though we had driven across town to get there 😭 with my parents, who live 800km away and adore Pailhasson chocolates from Pau... I've been a customer since 2020, first in Tarbes and then in Pau, and I was so disappointed myself.

07/11/2025: Shop closed. Incorrect opening hours. I made a special trip... frustrating.

24/05/2026: We were very warmly welcomed; a beautiful spot facing the sea.

20/05/2026: The food was very good, the tagliatelle carbonara was excellent. The glass of rosé (Côtes de Provence) was light and pleasant. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. The setting is great. Excellent value for money. There's a large screen outside, which is fine if it's not too bright. Overall, very positive.

26/04/2026: A very warm welcome, delicious home-style cooking (Bayonne ham, homemade croquettes and baby squid, as well as a delicious chocolate dessert). A small, unassuming restaurant that's well worth a visit.

19/03/2026: Worst beer I've ever drunk in my life. The chef kicked me out of the restaurant because I made a little joke. I absolutely do not recommend it. I also ordered food, and it tasted like they'd made a mess of it, it was so disgusting. I would never recommend this place to any of the Pierre Bars I've ever been to.

26/04/2026: This place was recommended to us by a friend, and we absolutely loved it! We highly recommend the mini chorizos as a starter—they're amazing! 😁 The welcome was truly lovely, the service was quick, the atmosphere was great, and the meat was perfect! If we had to make one small comment, it would be about the portion of fries, which left us wanting a little more... But that's just a minor detail. 😉 Highly recommended!

16/05/2026: Hello, don't rely on previous reviews because today there are new owners with a new menu. There were five of us, and we hadn't been before, but we weren't disappointed! The ribeye steak was tender and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, the tapas were fantastic, and the desserts were homemade. We received a warm welcome and had a very pleasant atmosphere. We tried the evening menu and we'll definitely be back to try the lunch menu!

30/05/2026: A small hotel with a beautiful view of Port-Vieux Beach. We had a deluxe room, plenty of space, and it was very clean. All the amenities and furniture were in good condition. The breakfast was modest—continental—but reasonably priced. You can also order an omelet or other items from the menu for an extra fee. There's no elevator, but the staff carried our luggage up and out of the room. Overall, our stay was very good. I'd love to come back and spend more time there.

20/11/2025: I'm giving one star for the staff's smiles. To begin with, there was no heating; we were told it would warm up with the crowds. No Beaujolais Nouveau was offered on its release day. There was no choice of menu; it was a set menu for workers, even though the website makes no mention of this and there's a nice menu with good ingredients. We managed to get the duck breast with honey sauce listed on the menu, but it didn't have the sauce. According to them, we should have specified when ordering that we wanted it. Apparently, according to the owner, this restaurant will close and reopen in January. It's best to wait for the reopening before going.

25/04/2026: After a very good experience on December 31st, 2025, when we were accommodated without a reservation and a table was quickly added, we returned this Thursday, April 23rd, 2026, for the opening of the Ham Fair! We were very satisfied, the welcome was warm, the atmosphere relaxed and friendly, and we ate very well!! Our next visit will be for the Bayonne Festival! 👍😊🤩
