28/07/2024: Booked the hotel as an overnight stay on the way. Our room was very hot and the small fan didn't do much to change it or get the air moving. It also smelled quite like a wet dog. The bed was comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom. Unfortunately there is no hairdryer. The area is rather questionable and we didn't feel very comfortable. But there are some cameras outside and inside. We booked rooms with breakfast. It starts at 7 a.m. and we were gone. 7:30 a.m. eating. The scrambled eggs were already empty at this point and there was no refill, the boiled eggs were very cold. Otherwise there was a large selection of different things, especially several cakes. The staff is friendly.

23/07/2024: Great room for a night. Very warm. No air conditioning. Comfortable beds.

08/09/2024: Very polite and helpful manager, was able to guide us and respond to our requests with professionalism. Thanks to him!

03/09/2024: The photo looked so different from what I've got that I had to ask. I got sick after the food here. The lady working here was nice but she didn't speak any English.

25/09/2024: L'intérêt principal de ce restaurant est qu'il est idéalement situé en plein centre de Colmar dans la quartier de la Petite Venise. Le service est assez rapide, Les tartes Flambées sont bonnes et faites au fur et à mesure pratiquement devant nous. Dommage il n'y a que trois choix. Notre serveuse Rachel était très sympa et nous a conseillé sur ce qu'il y a découvir dans le quartier.

22/09/2024: Très bel emplacement en face de la Petite Venise et sur les bateliers. Très bonne tarte flambée traditionnelle. Prix correct.

If you like Indian food and taste then this is not the right place for you because the food they bring is completely cold and tasteless. 22/08/2024: 2 croissants, 1 croissant au Chocolat and 2 cappucino €14.50. Substandard cappucino, so paid too expensive.... €4.30 each....

21/08/2024: Good quality of products. Own elaboration. We had a very good breakfast. The weakest thing, the coffee.

31/08/2024: Restaurant qui refuse de servire une carafe d'eau et impose la consommation d'eau minérale. .. Nous consommions pourtant un apero chacun et bien sûr le repas, ce refus est donc illégal. 3,20€ les 50 cl de Carola bleue, à 4 ce n'est pas suffisant donc votre addition monte vite ⬆️ Service un peu froid, je me suis sentie mal à l'aise. C'est bien dommage parce que le repas reste d'un bon rapport qualité/ prix.

30/08/2024: Repas bon... mais établissement à fuir... Très froid. Aucune ambiance pour un "chalet"... on se croirait dans un bistrot. Serveuse froide, n'aime pas trop les enfants de 3 et 7 ans qui ne passent pas le repas sur un écran... du coup bein oui c'est des enfants qui s'amusent et parlent... mais derangent...tellement rare de nos jours.. pas de carafe d'eau... juste une bouteille d'eau en 50cl à plus de 3 euros.... Un conseil aller plus tôt à lauberge en face des pistes de luges d'été...

16/09/2024: Comportement désagréable du serveur barbu d'un âge certain, commentaires acerbes à notre égard qui réduit l'accueil à néant. Je lui demandé de s'acheter un sourire 🙂

12/09/2024: L’endroit n’est pas très accueillant, malgré un serveur sympa. J’ai commandé des pâtes « fraîches » (comprenez faites maison) à la truffe et parmesan. Elles n’étaient pas cuites, et sans doute pas fraîches. Mon estomac n’a pas supporté l’expérience… Je déconseille !

17/08/2024: We ordered pretty much standard food of biryani, butter chicken, chicken curry and Naan, by any stretch of imagination this is not difficult indian food. Biriyani was glorified yellow rice with huge lumps of salt. This was not biryani inspired from ANY part of india. It was an absolute disgrace to be eating the dish. The butter chicken could be a substitute for dessert as it was extremely sweet, and not like authentic Indian food at all. The chicken curry was absolutely horrid and was extremely sour (it should not have been sour). Calling the paratha they gave us as "naan" would be an absolute insult to actual Punjabi food. It was thin, barely had any butter, despite us ordering butter Naan and overall did not taste or look appealing. Finally, the quantity may have been the worst thing about the place. For the price, you would expect good quality and even better quantity. However, each plate only had 3 tablespoons of food MAX. Horrible experience. Let this review be a caution to anyone who wishes to dine here in the future.

14/08/2024: We wanted to have a drink there on Monday, the first thing they did was look at us as if we weren't welcome. Hopefully we asked the lady of the house to take us outside if we wanted something to drink, she gave us the card and we went outside, we didn't want to put up with so much unpleasantness, so we put the cards on the table outside. Not to mention it was 36 degrees that day. I think you're already rich enough since we were only there. Thank you very much Satsirakaal

08/09/2024: Never seen such a poorly managed place, waiting 25 minutes for a coffee and a caputchino is an abuse of the customer's patience, the toilets are dirty and no light, the tables are not cleaned.

08/09/2024: The redefinition of “fast” food I don't often bother to write a negative review, but honestly; Run away. Between the employee who walks around the restaurant talking to her friends, who asks her colleague to make her an ice cream while everyone is waiting for their orders (at 3:00 p.m., the "restaurant" very far from 'be full) Another who responds to a customer “can’t you see that I’m talking to my colleague here?” The CB 27 which crosses the room while we were 10 orders ahead, nothing is wrong. Not to mention the state of the said room, the trash bags littering the floor and the half-cleaned tables (the technique "cleaning" the table would make the health inspection pale) it is not enough to pretend to clean the table so that it is clean.

01/09/2024: 6 kebabs eaten, 6 people sick. The bread was falling apart, My first kebab to eat with a fork... Very spicy to surely hide the taste of rotten meat) I don't recommend it if you don't want to get food poisoning!

18/09/2024: Difficult to rate anything other than the service since we were unable to stay in this hotel. Please note, check-in is before 9 p.m. otherwise there is no one there and, as the receptionist says so well, "I have better things to do than wait for you". Courteous and professional exchange, you will understand. You will of course guess that the refund was not made, and the cancellation fees at the level of the amount of the room... 108€. Courtesy and professionalism have therefore given way to kindness and generosity! So yes, we can clear customs via the general conditions of sale or others. However, a little sympathy and humanism will not make anyone in this world turn back. 5 stars for greed and fanaticism, thanks again!!!

16/09/2024: Satisfied with our stay. Room ok, clean. Bedding OK. TV graying out on certain channels in our room, it’s true but we don’t care, we’re not here for that! The manager and his son: very pleasant, kind, helpful. Breakfast ok too. Hot drink, orange juice, croissant, bread, butter, jam, and cheese, yogurt, cereals too.... If you are looking for something modern, something fancy, you will indeed be disappointed, if on the contrary you are looking for a simple and authentic establishment and people: go for it! Thank you for allowing places like this to still exist. Good luck, and certainly see you next time!!

31/07/2024: Let's start with the positive: the pork spring rolls were okay, the same for the noodles, and I found the frog legs good. Now for the negative: the rest. The really bad rice, the inedible lemon chicken (hard as a rock, never seen before!), the really bad caramel pork, the extremely oily soups (inedible without blocking an artery), the duck and the ravioli not bad, but not good either, and the shrimp spring rolls which were nothing like spring rolls, just shrimp rolled in fried dough (which really wasn't spring roll dough), and all the sauces were just coarsely thickened (probably with cornstarch), giving them a gelatinous, and not pleasant, appearance. Yes, the price was right, but here we spent almost €90 not to eat much (since it wasn't good). It's a shame because we've been ordering there for years, and this is probably the last time. It was never extraordinary as a food, but here it is even more degraded. Waiting 40 minutes for bad, obviously reheated food (when we live 15 minutes away) is ridiculous.
