07/09/2024: Originally from Mulhouse, this place made us dream. This is the opportunity for us to discover Charlie ´S Bar. The atmosphere is nice, very cozy, the gentleman on the piano plays well, we will say that it has remained in its 60s-70s style juice. The kitchen is a bit disastrous, the salmon as a starter (24€), 3 slices of salmon with pickles ????? Capers, onions yes, but pickles? The dish, 2 prawn and scallop risottos, I make the best at home. No finger rinse.. The service……the young woman is alone for everything (bar, and service) on a Saturday evening? Being in the restaurant business myself, I know how quickly we can become overwhelmed, but nothing stops you from knowing how to make a good mojito with lime and not yellow. When you ask for a carafe of water, they throw a glass of lukewarm water at you. The friendliness of this young woman has simply disappeared... surely forgotten in the locker room?! Little extra for shoes… flip-flops!!! My god 😂

20/09/2024: We ordered colonial rice for our daughter's birthday. The team is responsive and even adapts to last minute requests. All instructions have been given to us in order to provide proper plate service. We had a blast!!! Thank you 😃

30/08/2024: Not very friendly staff, very generous breakfast, not great room

04/08/2024: Both rooms (superior class) were in immaculate condition. Clean and groomed. The bathroom is fantastically furnished to a high standard. Air conditioning worked well and was pleasantly quiet. The mattresses on the beds were new and of good quality (firm without being uncomfortable). The staff at reception was friendly and even spoke English (not necessarily common). The location is perfect for transit, as well as a base for exploring the surrounding area. Many locations within walking distance. There is also a good walking environment for dog owners. I'm still thrilled and will make Campanile Mulhouse - Illzach Ile Napoléon my first stop if the prices remain moderate. The only thing I was missing was a coffee machine for the morning before the restaurant opens.

21/09/2024: We couldn't taste the food because we weren't served. It looked okay. After we sat down, the employee told us that we had to get up because the table needed to be cleaned. Fine in itself, although the table was not actually dirty. But the tone was immediately quite unkind and forceful. Of course it would have been nicer to ask. Anyway, there's probably a lot of annoying tourists here and it's the end of the season, so it can happen. However, when we got up, she didn't come back to actually clean the table. We then sat down again after a minute and were no longer served, while she did help other new guests. When we approached her to ask if we could order, she looked at us irritated and told us to wait a moment. We then asked if she wanted to help us, and then she got angry and indicated that she indeed did not want to help us because we did not let her clean the table (which, again, was practically clean). A single experience is of course not representative, but unfortunately we had a bad experience. 🙃

14/09/2024: La Romantica was far from romantic, with outright disrespectful and aggressive staff. We were served our food after a wait time of 1 hour at the least. When asked why the delay, the answer was promptly rude citing "you ordered a starter, hence your main course is late", which is the most absurd reply I've ever received and I have dined in over 10 different countries at countless restaurants. Instead of having an apologetic tone, the waitress (blond girl with glasses) was arrogant and disrespectful, she even swore in French, not realising that we have heard her. Apart from this horror show, the food and ambience were barely mediocre at best. Nothing worked out except the wine we had. Completely disappointed and let down by such incompetent staff.

19/08/2024: Change of tomato sauce, very poor quality, it smells like canned goods

13/08/2024: Pizza without cheese almost, we only feel the taste of tomato and it's already been 3 times we call this complaint and nothing changes to avoid take a short drive to Mulhouse

30/03/2024: More of a canteen atmosphere but very good food, lots of choice and not too expensive with an all-you-can-eat menu at €17.90. Drinks served by a robot are funny..

13/03/2024: Empty parking lot, empty restaurant. Reception and non-existent service. The buffet is presented like in all other Asian restaurants, except that in places, it doesn't smell too fresh... It’s confirmed after one bite, we didn’t empty our plates. To summarize: yuck

05/09/2024: Déjeuner en terrasse. Arrivés à 11h50 et assiettes servies après réclamation à 13H30. Beaucoup de clients ont fait savoir leur mécontentement de cette attente interminable, alors que le restaurant comptait 54 clients ! Nous avons eu le temps de les compter. Problème d'organisation manifeste.

15/08/2024: Restaurant avec un certain cachet, accueil sympa en terrasse, déjeuner au programme menu du jour, avec comme entrée mousse de canard et en plat raviolis à l'oriental Déception car tout est de l'industriel, même les quelques légumes... Dommage

19/09/2024: The hotel itself is okay. But on the other hand, the restoration should be avoided! You want to drink a Perrier grenadine as an aperitif, no problem, we'll take your order, we'll come see you again and tell you that they are out of stock but that they have other sparkling waters, no problem for me! Until I realized that I was served a glass of grenadine with saguaro sparkling water from Lidl and charged under a Coke for €3.95 while the bottle of sparkling water costs 59 cents at Lidl, overcooked salmon, for dessert we offer you Coco fondants, it's 3 vulgar mini cakes with coconut yogurt

08/09/2024: Part of the hotel was requisitioned If you want to stay in Alscace for a complete change of scenery While immersing yourself in the lower part of Mulhouse, don’t hesitate to make the detour We had to sleep on the bedspread Since the sheets are yellow stain You go to the bar at 8 p.m. to ask for a drink This is not possible the restaurant is closed Pitiful breakfast Definitely don't come near if you are gluten intolerant There is nothing except yogurt And bread Mediocre staff who know nothing about hospitality I strongly advise against this establishment

17/08/2024: I bought a pistachio cake today and discovered with astonishment that it can be consumed until 08/17/24, that is today. I think, being a loyal customer (and indeed even if I was not) that it would be appropriate to warn your customers, or even to make reductions, but this is only my personal opinion. This time it's not cool in the sense that I wasn't necessarily planning to eat it today and will especially feel obliged to.... Hoping that this one won't be hard as a rock. I will come back to you if not unfortunately I have food poisoning because I think you are using eggs so something to think about. Besides I bought two at the beginning of the week which already had this date.

17/09/2024: I am very shocked I was at McDonald's last night 2 rats passed by me, there was also a couple who saw them they reported the presence of rodents to the staff. I was disgusted and the hygiene is very questionable all the tables are dirty with food on the floor. The meals are lukewarm, this is the last time I will go back there. To be closed urgently ⚠️⚠️⚠️

22/09/2024: If you are not in a hurry, go there for 45 minutes and we were not the only ones without a crowd, you will understand, the meal received was barely lukewarm.

22/09/2024: too bad to be so slow with so few people when the competitor is 200 m away and renowned for his speed...Otherwise my burger was perfect!
