31/12/2025: A very nice bar, a little away from Place Plume so it's quieter. Simple but good food. Very friendly waitresses. Themed evenings are always a success!

27/02/2026: Average service, the beer at €4.60 is very expensive, we're not in Tours Place Plumereau, I won't be back. Indeed, the beer is €4.50 because I paid €5 and they only gave me 50 cents, expensive for a beer.

11/02/2026: 19 euros for 12 thin slices of cucumber, 2 heaping tablespoons of shepherd's pie with 3 lettuce leaves and a slice of Charlotte biscuit. Really very expensive, nothing like the previous owners who offered decent portions and cheese for less. The new waitress has a nice, professional smile but is unpleasant if you tell her what you think and makes it clear you should go somewhere else if you're not happy.

16/03/2026: The welcome was exquisitely courteous. The waitress was truly professional and did everything to make the experience enjoyable. The place was pleasant and calm, with nice decor, not too loud music, and a well-balanced musical selection. The wine list offered something for every taste and budget. Each dish was very appealing; the interplay of citrus flavors was subtle, the vegetables were well-prepared, and there was a real finesse to the dishes. However, for a €39 set menu (on Saturday), we would have appreciated a bit more flexibility and a choice between two courses (for example, those listed on the à la carte menu), and, in the land of beef bourguignon and pot-au-feu, a bit more generosity in the choices (vegetables or dessert, for example). We left satisfied, but something was missing to truly ignite the experience… It's just been taken over; they deserve our support!

09/03/2026: We went to dinner tonight to celebrate our 2-year and 1-month anniversary at this lovely restaurant (inn) and we absolutely loved it! The welcome was simple and friendly, the food was excellent, and the prices were quite reasonable. 😊👌

09/02/2026: Amazing! I highly recommend this place. Simple dishes, but with a little something extra to break the monotony. Fresh, homemade ingredients, a perfect welcome, attentive servers, and no waiting time. All the ingredients for a great meal without any fuss. This brasserie has it all figured out. I think this restaurant prioritizes customer satisfaction above all else—a great example to follow.

18/02/2026: Not being familiar with the chain, I went to try it this afternoon. Not much to say about the waffles themselves. The service, the welcome, and the cleanliness, however... the ordering kiosks were disgusting; you could see fingerprints that looked like they'd been there for ages. We had to clean the screen ourselves, and the floor was so sticky it was filthy in front of the counter. When we pointed this out to the staff, explaining that since there weren't many customers, it was probably the best time to clean before 4 pm, we were told it must depend on our shoes... like being treated like an idiot when the dirt was clearly visible on the floor. I regret paying at the kiosk; if I'd heard that kind of comment before paying, I would have left. I'm crossing my fingers that I don't get sick if the hygiene at the preparation stations is anything like that in the dining area! In short, first and last time at Waffle Factory as far as I'm concerned. Avoid it, unless you're willing to stay glued to the ground.

12/02/2026: Terrible service. Unpleasant and stingy owner. Even asking for a towel becomes a problem. I have no desire to return.

08/12/2025: The L’Alliance restaurant in Amboise, slightly out of the way, offers truly excellent, flavorful, and well-prepared cuisine that is definitely worth the detour. The service is adequate, if not exceptional, and the somewhat underwhelming setting doesn't quite do justice to the quality of the food. A great place to eat well, despite an atmosphere that could be improved.

22/11/2025: Excellent cuisine, with real attention paid to allergens. Quick and friendly service. The restaurant is unfortunately not very busy, but we had a very pleasant evening and our taste buds were delighted.

06/03/2026: INCREDIBLE ✨️ I couldn't try everything, but what I did taste was truly exceptional. Incredible flavors, the sauces are amazing, and the chicken spring rolls are the best I've had in the last 10 years! I recommend it to anyone who wants a great meal 😙👌

02/02/2026: A small restaurant where it's best to book ahead...because the food is excellent and the service is top-notch. For €17.50, you'll have a delicious meal. I had eggs in a creamy sauce, which were perfect, and pork shoulder with fries and carrots (note that here too, the cooking is expertly done). And to top it all off...all-you-can-eat crêpes! Made right in front of you. In short, a fantastic place.

06/03/2026: Superb welcome, the team is fantastic, the service impeccable. There's a pool table in the bar, which makes you want to stay even more and come back. Match nights and themed evenings are offered regularly. Go go go… I don't know the hotel section, but I've heard from delighted guests.

14/01/2026: An extraordinary welcome, no reservation required, we were treated like royalty. A huge thank you, a wonderful evening at the bar, my friend had a rough time on the motorbike the next day… lol we'll be back.
