28/08/2024: Excellent restaurant, friendly service, the only downside comes from the proximity to the road when eating outside, however if you eat inside you don't have to worry about that.
26/08/2024: We were passing through this restaurant on August 17, from starter to dessert a delight: salmon rillette, swordfish with vegetables and white chocolate dessert...calm and pleasant place, super tip-top👍🌞

10/09/2024: Nous sommes venus pour un dîner en famille. Le cadre de cette brasserie est très chaleureux avec un beau décor. La carte est très fournie et les plats, bien que simples, sont très bons. Le service est généralement assez rapide. D'habitude, les serveurs sont très aimables, mais, ce soir-là, la serveuse n'était pas des plus professionnelles. Je retournerai dans cette brasserie avec plaisir !

The pasta that we were served on piping hot plates was succulent.
Bolognese tagliatelle and prawn pasta accompanied by a very nice red Chinon, followed by a small dessert.
We will keep the address on hand.
And the cherry on the cake, the welcome is very friendly.
Very beautiful and good address at very low prices.

26/08/2024: Repas entre amis, un samedi soir, excellent lieu et très beau cadre repas de qualité avec un service de qualité.
Nous avons été servi rapidement et comme il faut. Manque peut-être de choix au niveau des bières pression. C’est quand même un repère des bons vivants, dommage qu’il y ait deux choix de grandes marques connues, on pourrait y trouver des bières locales, ce qui serait plus intéressant.
Aucun café gourmand en dessert, ce qui pourrait être un point à améliorer. Il y a un seul rhum arrangé qui est d’ailleurs excellent, mais je pense qu’il pourrait y en avoir d’autres.
et sinon, nous sommes très satisfait de ce repas entre amis .

20/01/2025: It's disturbing to arrive in front of an empty room with no one to welcome us but once we understand that we have to go downstairs it gets better.
We are very satisfied with this restaurant, the dishes are very good, I prefer a buffet with less choice but good quality dishes rather than a restaurant with dozens of different dishes reheated in the microwave. I particularly liked the pho soup, the fact that we can compose the garnish ourselves is really nice (be careful of the peppers which are very spicy, fortunately it is indicated).
The room is very beautiful and the atmosphere is very calm, it was very pleasant.
There were two servers, the person who welcomed us was not very cheerful, we had the impression of disturbing her, but the other server was friendly and served us well.

19/09/2024: the cuisine is healthy, a little heavy, the service slow, and the atmosphere noisy. But as there is no restaurant in Langeais, except a (good) pizzeria, la Fringale, we have little choice. I went there before the boss hung up on me, because his wife had forgotten a product at Carrefour, and I wanted to bring it back to her. “I work, ma’am”, and what do I do??? I'm doing a service, well, that's it, it's over...they have a lot of customers, loyal or tourists, they can afford to lose a Langeaisian. Finally, it's open in the evening, just for drinks. They have changed.
01/09/2024: Bien accueillis, service rapide et souriant, la cuisine est délicieuse, entrée copieuse, plat goûteux avec légumes frais cuisinés, dessert fraises sur Chantilly, tout ça pour 18€

06/09/2024: Vous pouvez passer 20 fois devant et voyez qu’il y a un établissement chinois à cette adresse, jusqu’au jour où vous vous arrêtez et là superbe cuisine chinoise faite devant vous, ça fume ça flambe dans le wok aux manettes le patron. Au service la patronne qui est très sympathique. La carte est courte mais tous les codes sont là. Les parts sont plus que copieuses. Les prix dans la moyenne basse. Vous voulez emporter pas de soucis sont équipés pour. A essayer les yeux fermés.
Bon ça sent la friture mais au moins ont sait pourquoi.

24/08/2024: I only know the restaurant and it is an exceptional experience that I highly recommend.
The prices are more than reasonable and the refinement matches the originality.

Yet again we have returned to this superbly located, friendly hotel in Magical Loches, run by a delightful couple ,Sylvie et Stéphane Gage who continue to deliver exceptional service and wonderful traditional food to all their customers .This a one of a kind , family run , classic French Hotel , situated in the heart of the fantastic historic town of Loches , even boasting secure Hotel courtyard parking - esp. good for motorcycles!. Always a Friendly welcome, with comfortable , if somewhat dated rooms, some with A/C, but compensated by meals in the superb dining room or out in the balmy summer evening courtyard. Fabulous , value food, and superb local wine selection .
We keep going back- Well worth a trip , or detour en route South, for a quiet relaxing overnight stay situated in the centre of the pedestrianised part of Loches.. You will return to this gem in the heart of France , over and over to epxerince the bustling markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays, great individual shopping , and magnificent historical sites , all within walking distance.

03/09/2024: We came as a couple for one night and were well received. Several small drawbacks however.
I requested in the optional romantic pack to add a soft drink as my partner was pregnant. Instead it was the bottle of Vouvray which was replaced by fruit juice which we found a bit of a shame
Secondly, a large group booked the hotel at the same time as us, so no more places in the restaurant and more parking spaces. We would have appreciated being warned in advance
These are small downsides and we would however like to thank all the people with whom we interacted for their helpfulness and welcome.
01/09/2024: Pleasant setting and beautiful building in the middle of a beautiful garden, however I found the rooms, certainly with sufficient equipment and clean, but which could do with a good bit of refreshing. For breakfast nothing to say, as for the staff, all professionals.
The downside remains the relaxation area, not easy to access and above all shared with a senior residence.

20/12/2024: Disappointingly, we were refused lunch this afternoon for being 10 minutes late even though the restaurant was completely empty and it was 12:55 p.m.
01/11/2024: Lunch with a friend. We had a great time. A nice welcome. Generous and homemade pancakes and pancakes. Cider a delight. It was really very good and pleasant. I highly recommend.
