28/08/2024: We often come to eat set meals, but we often notice that some employees do not take gloves or tongs to serve the sandwiches. This is not very hygienic!! Same observation for the toilets, he does not check the condition of the toilets, lack of paper... In summer when it is more than 30 degrees outside, the establishment does not have air conditioning, the cakes are in full sun, he should think about hiding them. Last little thing: employees should not sulk when we only take one thing.

Only downside: the room lacks a little background sound but can quickly become noisy with people

08/12/2024: We had a great time in this restaurant. The welcome was warm, and we particularly appreciated the beautiful starter composed of different vegetables, a first for us.
We tasted a chicken Bibimbap and it was simply excellent, a great culinary discovery.
Only small downside: the ginger herbal tea. It was too expensive for a simple herbal tea in a bag and unfortunately lacked taste, which is a shame.
The menu is varied and makes you want to explore more. We will certainly come back to test the barbecue integrated directly into the table, which looks promising.

12/10/2024: We were only in Tours for one night and luckily got food for the kids at Speed Burger. The fries were great and so were the burgers. Totally recommended. If we spend the night in Tours again, we'll come back. The surprise in the kids box was also just right👌🏻

Vegetarian pasta for me, chicken and curry for my husband.
Cooked al dente, with crisp vegetables, generously served, and very reasonably priced.
We truly recommend this delicious pasta stop!
15/06/2025: Excellent pasta at a very reasonable price. A friendly restaurant owner who even went so far as to find a vase for my bouquet of flowers.
In conclusion, very good food and a warm welcome!

09/07/2025: A wonderful stay at Le Grand Monarque! Everything was perfect, especially the friendly and helpful staff. And, the location is great - restaurants etc in town are easily walkable. I highly recommend this lovely hotel!
07/07/2025: We stayed 1 night in the hotel Le Grand Monarque while traveling. It is located in the middle of the quiet village on the Indre Azay le Rideau, within walking distance of the castle of Azay. The room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. Beautiful bathroom with excellent shower. Slept very well in the excellent bed. Although the hotel is located in the middle of Azay, it was very quiet at night. Well-kept breakfast and friendly, smooth service. Very friendly staff. You can park your car for €7 in a closed, uncovered parking lot. Our congratulations to the management and the team!

20/09/2024: Great place to pick up something quick to eat but still get great food! The quiche is terrific as well as the ham and cheese croissant. They heated both up for us. The apple and raspberry tarts we bought were a perfect small bite treat. Highly recommend!
