03/09/2024: We came as a couple for one night and were well received. Several small drawbacks however.
I requested in the optional romantic pack to add a soft drink as my partner was pregnant. Instead it was the bottle of Vouvray which was replaced by fruit juice which we found a bit of a shame
Secondly, a large group booked the hotel at the same time as us, so no more places in the restaurant and more parking spaces. We would have appreciated being warned in advance
These are small downsides and we would however like to thank all the people with whom we interacted for their helpfulness and welcome.
01/09/2024: Pleasant setting and beautiful building in the middle of a beautiful garden, however I found the rooms, certainly with sufficient equipment and clean, but which could do with a good bit of refreshing. For breakfast nothing to say, as for the staff, all professionals.
The downside remains the relaxation area, not easy to access and above all shared with a senior residence.

10/09/2024: Nous sommes venus pour un dîner en famille. Le cadre de cette brasserie est très chaleureux avec un beau décor. La carte est très fournie et les plats, bien que simples, sont très bons. Le service est généralement assez rapide. D'habitude, les serveurs sont très aimables, mais, ce soir-là, la serveuse n'était pas des plus professionnelles. Je retournerai dans cette brasserie avec plaisir !

25/07/2024: Small restaurant in an alley, a little out of the way. But it fills up very quickly. Excellent food and the owners are very attentive. Family atmosphere.
22/07/2024: Home cooking, really better than in all-you-can-eat buffets or bought in supermarkets. Beautiful decoration although it is simple. Welcomed and served with a smile. Small downside is the Sopalin as a towel.

The pasta that we were served on piping hot plates was succulent.
Bolognese tagliatelle and prawn pasta accompanied by a very nice red Chinon, followed by a small dessert.
We will keep the address on hand.
And the cherry on the cake, the welcome is very friendly.
Very beautiful and good address at very low prices.

10/09/2024: Casual spot right outside Amboise Castle. Attentive service, and all of our food was outstanding. Our party of six did not have a reservation but we were seated at 7 and experienced no difficulties. Mixed drinks were good, wine and beer selection were decent and the food was really well done. Standouts were the chimmichurri burger, mallard (duck) French fries were light in color but incredibly crispy. If you are seeking a salad the Caesar with chicken was chock full of wonderful chicken.

09/09/2024: Discovered on the recommendation of a kind resident of Richelieu, 25 km from Chinon, we were not disappointed. Great pizzas, great welcome, delicious Italian wine! What more could you ask for!
02/09/2024: Very good pizza, too bad there was no chocolate ice cream, there was only dark chocolate, the dessert menu is a little light in my opinion and the tiramisu was sugar-free for my taste, too bad because it was very good provides pleasant and fast service to the customer.

We had a classic room with a garden view,…well, on the roof you had to lean out to see the garden.
From the bedroom you go down a step to access the bathroom then you go up 2 steps to go to the toilet,…
Everything has to be redone
Industrial bread for breakfast, unacceptable for a 3-star establishment

Trop d'attente. Presque 2 heures pour 2 plats.
Restaurant à éviter.
18/09/2024: La carte est pauvre, la cuisine est tiède enfin pour moi pas assez chaude. J'ai pris une beuchel (24 €) , les rognons ne sont totalement débarrassés des parties croccantes, servi avec un gratin dauphinois, le tout trop tiède à mon goût. En dessert peu de choix or la tarte tatin que j'ai pris mais peu chaude, il propose un pain brulé . On s'attend à mieux dans un restaurant que du pain brulé.
