27/10/2025: A simple, family-run restaurant, just the way we like it! The welcome is warm. The menu is simple. The dishes are generous. Homemade, delicious. Starter/main course/dessert and a drink. A treat for everyone, while staying reasonable. Visited with family: 2 adults and 3 children.

07/10/2025: We are Canadians cycling the Loire for two weeks. This restaurant was a big surprise from most of the places we have eaten at for lunch. There is a chef putting the menu together. It was creative and delicious. The owner spoke good English and had a good sense of home. Thank you.

25/11/2025: An exceptional restaurant concept in a beautiful setting, featuring exclusively locally sourced products (vegetables, chickens, wine, etc.). The cuisine is imaginative and refined. Special mention goes to their Bourgueil "L'Enclos des Poules" (the owner will explain it to you). A truly gourmet experience. So much so that we returned a few days later. The welcome was absolutely fantastic (even though we arrived around 2 pm both times). It was also great to be able to buy their products (and others of similar quality) there.

09/03/2026: A nice little weekend getaway for two, the hotel itself was 5 stars, but the relaxation area (spa, pool, sauna, hammam) was better... 3 stars.

07/03/2026: Very enjoyable and relaxing stay, only negative was the gym wasn't up to standards, literally just a running machine, no weights or weight machines, which for me was misleading, food was absolutely delicious, fully recommend eating here, everything and service was superb.

24/02/2026: We had a lovely romantic evening. We had a wonderful dinner in a unique setting: a cave dwelling where the meats are grilled in front of you in a large fireplace. We loved it; the meal was delicious, and the service was impeccable.

04/01/2026: We spent New Year's Eve here. A warm welcome, attentive and smiling waitresses, interesting dishes, and very high-quality ingredients. A truly excellent experience; we will definitely return when we are in the area again.

25/01/2026: I went there last night with friends for the sauerkraut dinner... a friendly welcome and the place was packed... the sauerkraut was very good, generously portioned, and quite filling... a small plate of cheese and salad followed by a tarte tatin with a scoop of vanilla ice cream... I wasn't disappointed with this first visit to this restaurant... I definitely plan to go back to enjoy more delicious dishes prepared by the chef... I highly recommend it... you have to try it... that's what I like about it...

27/01/2026: Honestly, this is just an average crêperie. The filled crêpe is good, but the rest leaves much to be desired. The decor is neglected, even dirty, the furniture is completely worn out, it's incredibly cramped, and you can smell the cooking fumes. So, really, it's just okay, with many things they need to improve to better serve customers.

22/02/2026: A wonderful stay shared with my mother. The team is fantastic, incredibly kind and attentive. The grounds are splendid, and the rooms and common areas are equally beautiful. The breakfast is delicious. We highly recommend Domaine de la Tortinière!

16/01/2026: We came on a Friday evening for a pre-dinner drink and were warmly welcomed by the staff. The service was very pleasant, and the cocktails and appetizer platter were excellent. The decor was unique and very cozy, especially with the fireplace. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

26/09/2025: We are delighted to have this little bar/tobacco shop/restaurant, parcel shop, and post office in our village. The owner is very welcoming, we eat very well there, and there are several small concerts throughout the year. It brings life to this beautiful town. Nothing to complain about!

29/09/2025: Typical local establishment. We were lucky they were open on a Monday. Great value lunch and very very tasty. I loved my terrine entree and the fish was insane, perfectly cooked and fresh. It is these little villages.of the beaten track that provide the, sometimes unexpected, little surprises. 08/03/2026: Good value for money. Only one downside: the person who took our payment (the one who cooks? In any case, not the one who served us) wasn't very friendly. Of course, I told her we were giving up on coffee, that we'd waited 20 minutes without it arriving, even though the restaurant was far from crowded. There was only one person in the dining room, and one in the kitchen/dining area, apparently, but I imagine that's enough for about fifteen customers. Sorry we didn't wait any longer, but we have better things to do than wait for coffee, and no "excuse us" either from this person who, to top it off, frowned because my card didn't work the first time (I took it out too soon, it's my fault, but not a big deal). I'm therefore a bit disappointed by this attitude; it doesn't make me want to return to this restaurant, even though the galettes are quite good. The service was slow, but the waitress was practically alone for about fifteen diners.
