10/12/2025: I had a pleasant stay. The staff was excellent. The restaurant service was quick and the food was good value for money. As for the room, it was perfectly adequate, just what you'd expect when staying in a hotel. I recommend it for a stopover in the Loire Valley!

19/08/2026: I came for lunch, walked for 40 minutes because Google said the restaurant was open, and arrived to find the doors closed. This isn't a place for people who value their time and are willing to pay for proper service. The restaurant doesn't respect its customers. As a result, I had to take a long-distance train on an empty stomach. I don't recommend it.

04/09/2026: A lovely oriental restaurant located in the countryside. Our couscous was delicious, although a small basket of bread would have been a nice touch. The owner is friendly and attentive, making sure everything is alright. Note that if you want a tagine, you need to order it the day before. A simple, unpretentious atmosphere.

26/07/2026: What a wonderful discovery! There were 12 of us celebrating my older sister's 50th birthday, and the food was excellent, with refined and delicate cuisine! The seafood was delicious and fresh. The ribeye steak was incredibly tender, the duck breast melted in your mouth, and the salmon had a lovely sauce! The vegetables were exquisite: zucchini gratin, new potatoes, and mushrooms. The service was excellent, and the hosts were charming. A great atmosphere—thank you again for your work and for this wonderful time.

28/04/2026: We enjoyed a lovely meal before our family visit to the castle 🏰. The waiter was very pleasant, energetic, and welcoming. Everything was perfect from the appetizer to the dessert. The wines and soft drinks (artisanal and locally made) were excellent. We recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

05/06/2026: I recently dined at Château de Beaulieu, eager to discover the restaurant's atmosphere, its cuisine, and to enjoy the setting, which is indeed very pleasant. The dishes were sophisticated and beautifully presented, with a real focus on flavor combinations. However, I felt the seasoning sometimes lacked character. I would have appreciated slightly bolder, more vibrant flavors to better showcase the dishes. My main regret, however, concerns the ordering experience. Being a foodie and wanting to explore more of the menu, I asked to order two courses, which was refused. This made me uncomfortable and unfortunately impacted the rest of my meal. My intention wasn't to waste food, but simply to fully enjoy the gastronomic experience offered. So, it's an establishment with a beautiful setting and refined cuisine, but this restriction regarding ordering somewhat marred my experience.

06/09/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and sometimes chance works out very well. This restaurant transported us back to our childhood, to a time when we didn't take the highways to go on vacation, when local produce graced every village square we passed through. The owner offers cuisine that's nostalgic in the best sense of the word. Here, herring with potatoes in oil is served with warm potatoes, kidneys are flambéed with cognac, the pork cheek is melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the floating island is perfect, sprinkled with slivered almonds. A real treat, especially with a good glass of Saint Nicolas wine, of course. All this to the sound of an accordion and under the watchful eyes of Lino Ventura and Jean Gabin. Deliciously nostalgic, we tell you!

06/08/2026: The service was impersonal, giving the impression of being a nuisance because we were just passing through. As for the supposedly gourmet cuisine, it was light years away; tasteless, and the portions were ridiculously small. More than disappointed, especially considering the price.

29/09/2025: Typical local establishment. We were lucky they were open on a Monday. Great value lunch and very very tasty. I loved my terrine entree and the fish was insane, perfectly cooked and fresh. It is these little villages.of the beaten track that provide the, sometimes unexpected, little surprises. Merci beaucoup.
