31/01/2026: A disaster at McDonald's, where mistakes are their greatest asset, and they tell you on the phone that it's your fault, of course. When you come back several days later to collect what you were owed, which you had already paid for, strangely enough, they have neither your name nor any record of it. You leave with a new order that you have to pay for again, hoping nothing is missing or damaged.

29/04/2026: As I write this message, Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 6:20 PM, the waitress who works on the patio needs to improve her professionalism and customer service. My partner and I were waiting to be seated and greeted her to see if we could have a table on the patio. She gave me a quick, glum greeting and left abruptly, leaving us stranded. I should point out that she wasn't busy. She might need to be reprimanded; it was unwarranted and frankly unpleasant. You've lost two customers.

18/04/2026: Delicious food, charming staff, iconic decor, generous portions... I highly recommend this establishment. Note: Remember to make a reservation, even for takeout orders.

21/03/2026: The Moroccan tagine is €29, with couscous an additional €3 per person. I find this restaurant extremely expensive. For that price, I've eaten at gourmet restaurants with a starter, main course, and dessert. The decor is original, but the service is very average. However, the food tastes good.

24/02/2026: Today I went in to make a purchase. The woman came to open the display case and asked me what I wanted. I took the item, and she snatched it from my hand, saying in a rude and aggressive manner, "It's my job to serve you, madam." The customers behind me had a look that said it all. As a result, I didn't even reply to her goodbye and wish her a nice day. That was my last visit to that store; there are many others that are much nicer and more respectful.

06/04/2026: Brunch too expensive for the quality offered, a shame in such a place… €40 for frankly the quality of a Flunch/Ibis Budget breakfast… the desserts raise the level.

10/11/2025: Very disappointing for a Campanile hotel. I booked a "Next Generation" room with a large double bed, as shown in the photos. Upon arrival, I was given an old, poorly maintained room with stained carpet and two single beds. Nothing like what was advertised, especially for such a high price. The room had no heating, the soundproofing was poor, and it overlooked a rather noisy parking lot. Another very disappointing point: the room wasn't cleaned during my three-night stay. I was told I had to request it at reception, which is unacceptable, especially without any prior notice. The sign supposedly indicating "Do Not Disturb" or "Please Clean the Room" was actually a rental car box, proof that the rooms aren't properly inspected. Finally, there was no tea or coffee, not even instant, and only one cardboard cup for three nights. For a hotel costing over €70 a night, this is clearly insufficient. At that price point, a Formula 1 hotel across the street would probably offer equivalent, or even better, service for half the price.

21/04/2026: I am very unhappy with the attitude of one of your employees. Let me explain: my mother ordered a quiche, then I told her I would have a salad. She replied rather unfriendlyly, "Yes, wait, I'll put it in the oven." When we went to the checkout, there was a gentleman in front of us, and this same employee kept saying, "Hey, there's a gentleman ahead of you," as if we were going to cut in front of him. We clearly saw that he was in front of us and that we weren't going to. I am very disappointed because I really enjoy shopping at your establishment. Have a good day. Sincerely,

23/03/2026: I went to a little rock afternoon, it was great! 👍 It's a nice little venue with some nice lighting and a decent sound system. Thanks to my friends who were there and got me dancing so much...🤩

01/03/2026: We went for a special Valentine's Day evening where the menu was €55 per person, including a starter, main course, and dessert, which ended with a chocolate mousse or a canned fruit salad (a bit pricey, don't you think?). There was no water carafe on the table, and we had to ask for our main courses and the aperitifs included in the menu. The starters were completely tasteless (crumbly chopped shrimp and salmon ceviche with no seasoning), and the main courses were cold (bland and dry risotto). We told the owner about our experience, but she said we seemed to be the only ones complaining. There was no compensation offered, which is unacceptable. We do not recommend this place, at least not for the food; otherwise, the atmosphere was pleasant.

20/04/2026: "Confused" chocolate crepes. The very industrial chocolate is translucent and watery. Luckily, there's very little of it.

20/04/2026: I tasted the small plain brioche. If I had known, I would have taken two. It was good without being too sweet.

12/04/2026: I've always been warmly welcomed, and their brioches are so delicious that whenever I'm in Tours, I make every effort to get some! Despite what some grumblers might say, judging by certain comments! There aren't many high-quality things available these days, so we should take advantage of it!

12/03/2026: A country bar and restaurant just the way we like them. It's clean, the food is good, the prices are reasonable, nothing to complain about.

12/03/2026: It was advertised as closing at 6:30 PM, but when I arrived at 6:10 PM everything was already closed – it's shameful! Perhaps they should consider changing the hours if they have; it would prevent people from making a wasted trip, especially with newborns. I gave one star everywhere out of obligation; otherwise, I wouldn't have given anything.

19/04/2026: Avoid at all costs. The wait is ridiculously long. It's not what it used to be. I'd been going for four years, but since I'm going to a competitor, I'm out! Their arguments are flawed: (negative customer feedback regarding my rat...). Yet there are plenty of photos of tourists and customers who came back to see him... I've often heard strange things from the manager, but this... (like when he talks about customers, servers...). My heart goes out to the servers who work with him. My rat didn't bother anyone; he stays in his place. Of course, a disabled person with a rat brings in less business than a gold card, and as for the establishment's image... let's not even talk about it. What really damages the bar's image is the manager who never smiles and the requirement to buy an alcoholic drink to get a charcuterie board.
