16/07/2026: A fantastic brasserie I stumbled upon. Pleasant atmosphere, really nice decor (even in the restrooms). They only offer daily specials on a chalkboard menu, using fresh ingredients. Everything is homemade. A real treat! 😋

17/09/2026: It's actually a lovely spot. However, it's rather disappointing that tourists are shamelessly ripped off. My wife ordered a rosé wine. Without any further question, the most expensive one was served. They can do that, but it's damaging to business in the long run. Not recommended!!

16/08/2026: Beyond the lack of warmth, smiles, and friendliness, the pastries are absolutely dreadful. My sweetheart bought me a mille-feuille, thinking he was treating me. The result: a sort of mountain of lumpy, overly sweet cream, and a pastry that was anything but flaky. At €5 a pastry, it's blatant robbery. This is the second time we've come (just to give them a chance, after all), and it's always the same nightmare. So, honestly, don't judge this bakery by its facade because inside, the waitresses are absolutely appalling, and I would use the same adjective for the pastries. They're making a killing off customers who will end up disappointed! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

22/04/2026: First and last time here. Little explanation of how it works, unfriendly saleswoman, and in the end, expensive for just a wrap.

03/04/2026: I really like this place in the evening, and now they also serve hot dishes in addition to their legendary build-your-own salads! I chose a large porcini and boletus mushroom soup and Bombay chicken as my main course, and it was fantastic!

12/09/2026: Extremely disappointed by the current quality of the brioche. I was looking forward to returning to this historic shop at Tours train station, but the disappointment is complete. It's a far cry from the delicious taste of my childhood. The recipe has clearly changed: the brioche is sorely lacking in butter, it's dry and tasteless. Maintaining the period setting is pointless if the quality of the products has plummeted to this extent.

26/08/2026: We'd heard great things about this "institution." Passing through Tours, we decided to try it. Frankly, it's a joke: little flavor, far too salty, and above all, too dry. It's high time they revised the recipe.

06/09/2026: We went there today, didn't have time to eat or drink, and after 20 minutes no one came to see us. We went to the bar, but the woman ignored us. We noticed that three tables were being served, but they seemed overwhelmed, not with enthusiasm for serving or welcoming customers. They were even forgetting the orders of tables that had already been served! We left! Don't waste your time or money, just let them close down for good!

28/05/2026: The room was a bit dated on my first stay, but fantastic on my second. In any case, congratulations to the hotel for the quality of the welcome, the service, and the restaurant. I highly recommend it.

21/05/2026: On our way back from Gironde to Yvelines along the main road, we stopped at this restaurant by chance, one of the very few open on a Monday along that route. We had a very good lunch there, with a starter, a main course, and a coffee for under €20 per person. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The welcome and service, provided by the same person, were very professional and friendly, and the portions were quite generous. Frankly, a great stop, especially on a Monday when many restaurants are closed, not to mention that there are very few along this main road.

24/09/2026: The lady inside is terribile! Not a very nice person who doesnt know how te serve. Within 15 minutes of our stay she hangs a handwritten paper on the door 'we are closed' and please leave. Snobistic and particilarly not fond of tourists. A pitty because the coffee and the bonbon were very nice. Ambiance minus 4 and the coffee and bonbons plus 5 makes 1 star

03/07/2026: Dishes prepared with love and passion, a very varied wine selection – you're sure to find something to suit you. The owners are attentive, very pleasant, and always smiling. I highly recommend this place if you're passing through or if you live in or around Tours.

06/05/2026: Dare to step inside this restaurant. Don't be put off by the sometimes less-than-warm welcome. Remember to book ahead, as there are only a few tables. You truly won't be disappointed by the quality of the food! I highly recommend it, having eaten there many times.

25/08/2026: I bought some "traditional" baguettes this morning. The bread was tasteless, soggy, just crumb... In short, avoid this place.
