15/10/2024: My partner took this hotel with breakfast for a short romantic weekend with a visit to some of the magnificent castles of the Loire. We arrived on Friday evening, nothing to complain about the very cheerful and helpful welcome. The boss or one of the employees tells my partner that we have a free aperitif at the bar a little further away (I find that really nice), in short in the meantime we go to our room, very small unlike the photos, tiny bathroom, single glazing, a convector (toaster for purists) as heating and a hand basin as a sink. Anyway, we decide to take a shower to freshen up after the long drive. For the water to be hot it was necessary to run it for no less than 5 minutes, during this time we noticed that the water was flowing poorly so I removed the drain cover and removed the filter red so that the latter flows better, but when removing it we found lots of hair clinging to it from the former residents or even from those still before and maybe even further than that. Anyway, we finish our shower and when we get out we realize that the shower doors are not waterproof, the bathroom was flooded... After so much disappointment, we went to have our free and well-deserved aperitif, the bar owner was not aware, we still had our drink but the bad experience continued. The next morning we go downstairs, all excited at the idea of ​​breaking our bellies with the famous hotel breakfasts... We arrive in the room and there is nothing, no one, literally nothing and no one, so just two poor people pots with cereals there for a long time to have tasted one... After a few minutes of staying in the hotel lobby we came across a poster saying that breakfast is taken at the bar opposite, our face lights up again and we cross the street, enter and introduce ourselves, obviously the lady not aware of our coming and therefore annoyed but always smiling and very friendly, we still had lunch but far from breaking, and obviously the same thing is repeated on Sunday morning for breakfast, the lady was not aware of our coming. That's what concerns our short stay in this hotel, we didn't feel cold it's true, but simple glazing and convectors in a hotel in 2024 I didn't think that was possible, the water must flow for a long time for heating, multiplied by the number of rooms the energy footprint is heavy...

15/08/2024: Very surprised to see opening until 1 p.m. on August 15 on Google and you travel 15 km to arrive in front of a closed door at 11 a.m. It really lacks seriousness

12/08/2024: We have been eating our bread at Marie Blachère for a few years now, it is very good. Overall it's good, BUT the kebab 😱 only has the name, lots of sauce, very little meat, we wondered if it was a vegetarian kebab! And ratatouille??? Too expensive and not great. The recipe is worth revisiting. Great team, smiling and available.

27/09/2024: A gem in Tours, small neighborhood pub with a lot of atmosphere. Great food and friendly staff.

07/09/2024: Discovery of Coin Gourmand this evening. The cuisine is homemade, which explains a limited menu with 3/4 dishes on the menu, the price of which (between €21 and €25 - starter/main - main/dessert or starter/main/dessert - is also very very reasonable for on a Saturday evening! /). Same for the usual supplements (wine, coffee, etc.). And what's more, it's family-friendly, friendly and quite plentiful! They also do “takeaway” ;)!

12/09/2024: From start to finish this meal was fantastic. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, wonderful presentation. We loved the quaint atmosphere of the bistro and the service was very good and patient with out lack of the French language. If you visit Tours, Les Negociants is a must do.

01/08/2024: We ate here having read reviews by others and the fact that it promised Lebanese food. The burgers were very average, the chips were cold, the salade was doused in a sea of dressing and the kebab was served in a sort of soft baguette similar to a hot dog bun. Avoid if possible.

20/04/2024: On est venus un peu par défaut sans trop savoir où on allait, et quelle bonne surprise ! On parle bien sûr de tacos et de burgers, mais c'était très bon, très propre, le personnel amical, on est ressortis de là rassasiés et ravis :)

27/07/2024: Classic French cafe. Slightly bolshy and slow but friendly service, decent food in a nice location. Enjoy it for what it is, a place to wind away some time, have a beer, a glass of wine or a coffee while watching the world go by.

23/03/2024: Great discovery, restaurant which offers little choice, a guarantee of quality, everything is made in house. What is not homemade is notifiable. We had the green pepper terrine as a starter. The quantity did not disappoint us! The beef was tender, the home fries cooked in duck fat were very good. Well done to the cooks. We enjoyed our evening in this establishment.
