03/08/2024: Ali est très sympathique, le décors nous fait voyager, les repas sont très bons, fait maison, pleins de saveur et repas à emporter, la salle n'est pas souvent plaine, donc peu de bruit. Souvent de la place sur les parkings devant le restaurant.

Amazing experience.
We have been regulars at the Oriental for 2.3 times when we passed through the pretty town of Ornans. The restaurant only serves take-away , call, and take your container or Dalila will lend you one, to serve you the Couscous Royal!

The owner is so kind person
Very far from being the best couscous in the region, a rare gem!
If you're looking for authentic cuisine in the area, go to L'oriental!
We will come back as long as we can!
27/03/2024: Tastiest couscous with vegetables I've ever tasted. Perfect, especially as a vegan. Large portion and freshly prepared. Very sweet operator!
March 2024 - Pick-up only, not in the restaurant. I had to bring two containers (one for couscous, one for the vegetables) :)

16/09/2024: We love this wee bar. Tiny and the toilet is rather precarious. But it serves one of the best pints in town. Service is always quick and friendly. But please buy some more pint glasses. Last count they had 3 left. But we love it, quirky but great beer and location.
18/08/2024: Excellent little neighborhood bar. Mixed clientele of regulars between clean retirees and alcohol already well started in the middle of the day... Bar in its own right. Sit there with a Ricard or a half and observe real life... Excellent!

28/05/2024: accueil chaleureux et très sympathique… une belle terrasse agréable devant cette magnifique demeure historique qui appartenait une fois au Cardinal Savelli… nous avons très bien mangé… les beignets sont délicieux… l’effiloché de veau comme le cabri d’agneau était top… nous avons fini le repas avec un clafoutis au cerises… tout est fait maison avec des bons produits… un restaurant à recommander sans hésitation…

Everything is terribly good, from savory to sweet, it's really delicious!
The couscous semolina is fine and subtle and it is the same for all savory dishes.
And damn, the cakes, my god, they are so good and very visually beautiful.
Honestly, I'm impressed!
Lynda and her husband are super friendly and welcoming.
As soon as I have a party somewhere, I go for cakes and I become the attraction of the evening because people can't believe the quality on offer!
Long live Gazelle Horn!

12/11/2024: My girlfriend and I wanted to try a Lebanese on a public holiday, we rushed to this restaurant but that same evening we both had stomach ache with the same symptoms and it was impossible to sleep knowing that we are each very different but that we ate a sandwich meat which says a lot about food preservation!! I hesitate to call the health check... you are lucky not to be in Val d'Oise the prefect is cleaning up this type of establishment with closure and denunciation of the establishment in the press, a shame! !

12/09/2024: Si la décoration intérieure ne paie pas de mine, on y mange très bien et l'accueil est extrêmement chaleureux ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas aux alentours.... La vue depuis la terrasse est merveilleuse. On y a mangé 2 fois en 4 jours pour retrouver cette convivialité et cette bonne humeur qui a ensoleillé notre séjour. Merci !!
Les beignets de courgette au fromage corse étaient divins. Félicitations au chef !
