I come regularly and am amazed by the consistency of the cuisine despite the necessary changes and adaptations required by the exclusive use of seasonal products. It's flawless! I'm finally taking the time to do so, as it seemed simply impossible not to acknowledge the team's excellent work. At Toya, everything is just right. Absolutely everything. From the moment you arrive, you understand that the experience goes far beyond what's on your plate. The welcome, the thoughtful touches, the pace of the meal, the attentive service, the explanations, the recommendations… Everything is meticulously planned with remarkable intelligence and finesse. The staff demonstrates extraordinary attentiveness without ever being overbearing. You very quickly feel at ease, welcomed, and valued. Nothing seems forced, nothing rings false. From arrival to departure, there isn't a single false note. And then, there's the food. What can I say about the quality of the dishes? They are all extraordinary, generous, and perfectly combined. The dishes are meaningful, and the meal unfolds gradually like a true story. It's not simply a succession of (beautiful) courses; you sense an intention, a coherence, a profound sensitivity. There's a real personality in this cuisine, something that goes far beyond mere technical mastery. I chose the €130 "Histoire" menu, which included a starter, a fish course, a meat course, two desserts, and a series of thoughtful touches throughout the meal. The five snacks and two petit fours that accompany the experience are all moments of discovery. Nothing seems superfluous. Each element finds its place within the whole and contributes to giving meaning to this culinary journey. For a Michelin-starred restaurant of this caliber, the value for money is simply remarkable. Considering the work involved, the quality of the ingredients, the generous portions, and the overall experience, you leave with the feeling of having experienced something truly special. A word also about the service, as it truly deserves to be highlighted. The team's recommendations are always relevant, precise, and insightful. The chef himself is very frequently present at the tables: he comes to serve certain dishes, recommend a wine, explain a preparation, or share the intention behind a dish. This presence greatly enhances the experience. It allows you to understand the cuisine, to better interpret it, and ultimately, to appreciate it even more. I was there with my partner, who has certain dietary restrictions. We had mentioned them beforehand, and they were taken into account with remarkable efficiency and precision. The suggested adaptations were perfectly integrated into the experience, without giving the slightest feeling of compromise or diminishing the quality of the dishes. This is a detail that is anything but: it demonstrates genuine attentiveness, great professionalism, and a sincere desire to please each guest. Another particularly commendable point: the attention paid to the ingredients. The local sourcing, the ethical approach, and the evident respect for the ingredients and the environment add even more depth to the experience. You sense a cuisine that doesn't just aim to impress, but is part of a broader, more coherent philosophy. Another small detail: the homemade bread is probably some of the best I've ever tasted. Something you might almost consider secondary, but here it becomes a true memento of the meal. What strikes me most about Toya is the coherence of every aspect of the experience. The cuisine, the service, the ingredients, the welcome, the chef's presence, the attention to the guests: everything is perfectly aligned. You feel a great deal of sensitivity, sincerity, and respect in the work done. A huge congratulations to the chef and his entire team. A restaurant I recommend without hesitation.

20/09/2026: Not far from the Meisenthal glassworks center 🥰 This lovely Auberge de la Mésange (Titmouse Inn) truly lives up to its name 🥰🤗 Step inside and you're transported to another era ⌛️ the modern-day 1930s 🤗 Unpretentious cuisine featuring delicious regional products 😋 and reimagined dishes 🥰🤗 A memorable lunch because the two young women are so attentive 🙏🥰 Bravo 🥰🤗 We hadn't booked, we just arrived and took a chance, and we were delighted 🥰🤗🙏 But it's definitely better to book 🙏

17/09/2026: The hotel is a bit dated, but I didn't find that to be a problem. The extremely friendly owner runs a very cozy and welcoming hotel with excellent cuisine. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is very good with a good selection. I stayed overnight with half-board, which I can highly recommend.

13/09/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true gem in Yutz and an experience that goes far beyond a simple meal! 🇵🇱❤️ We had dinner at POLONIA and, quite frankly, we were won over from beginning to end. We started with the cheese and potato pierogi, as well as the beef and pork pierogi. They were simply perfect: light pastry, impeccable cooking, and incredible flavors. But a special mention goes to the meat pierogi… We had never tasted such a well-executed filling: flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and spiced just right. A real treat. We then had the chance to try the dish of the day, a rather rare dish because it takes a particularly long time to prepare, accompanied by a mushroom sauce. It's hard to find the words without sounding excessive, but honestly: it was magnificent. The kind of generous, carefully prepared, and comforting dish that immediately gives the impression of discovering authentic Polish home cooking made with passion. And the quality doesn't drop at all with dessert: everything was excellent, right down to the last bite. Even the drinks contributed to the experience. My partner loved discovering Polish Muscadet and Polish black tea, while I was absolutely captivated by the Polish raspberry-mint drink. It's all these little details that make it more than just a place to eat: a true discovery of a cuisine and a culture. 🇵🇱 And this immersion extends to the decor. Everything is done with exquisite taste, but above all, with meaning. You quickly understand that the objects and elements that make up the restaurant aren't simply there for decoration: they carry a story, memories, and genuine sentimental value. This gives the place a soul that simply cannot be replicated with impersonal decor. We especially loved the faux windows fitted with screens that give the impression of looking directly towards Poland. And when you learn that the owner took the time to film these landscapes himself in Poland to broadcast them on the restaurant's screens, the detail becomes even more beautiful. It's a brilliant idea: seated at your table, you simply look through these "windows" and, for a few moments, you truly feel like you're in Poland. 🇵🇱 But what makes POLONIA even more special is the people behind the restaurant. It's a human-scale establishment, warm and friendly, where you can enjoy your meal and chat quietly without the constant hubbub found in so many restaurants. You simply feel good there. The best proof? We finished our meal around 10 p.m.... and we didn't actually leave until around 11 p.m.! We stayed to chat with other customers and especially with the owners. Lovely, passionate, genuinely kind people, happy to share their cuisine, culture, and history. The hour spent chatting after the meal perfectly encapsulates the spirit of this place. You come to POLONIA to eat Polish food, but you leave with the feeling of having traveled and been welcomed into someone's home. Generous and expertly prepared cuisine, decor steeped in history, a true immersion in Polish culture, a warm atmosphere, and above all, owners who have poured a part of themselves into their restaurant. A place we wish we could find much more often. Thank you for this wonderful experience.
