07/08/2026: There are restaurants where you eat very well. Michelin-starred restaurants where the technique is impeccable and the ingredients exceptional. But here, we're in another league. I've been fortunate enough to travel extensively and discover restaurants all over the world. Gastronomy is a true passion of mine. And precisely because of this, with time, it becomes increasingly difficult to be truly surprised. I discovered this restaurant about ten years ago, and since then, I've returned regularly. Each visit brings the same conclusion: the chef leaves absolutely nothing to chance. Each dish tells a story. The flavors are conceived with incredible precision, the textures complement each other perfectly, the presentation is elegant without ever being excessive, and above all, there's always that "wow" factor. Not the kind that relies on artifice, but the kind that stems from genuine creativity and a constant pursuit of excellence. You can tell that here, it's not simply about cooking. It's about creating, constantly questioning oneself, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Behind every dish, you can feel the passion, the hard work, and the constant desire to surprise. After ten years, while so many restaurants eventually become predictable, this one continues to amaze me. And that's probably the greatest compliment you can pay a chef. For me, it's not just one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of discovering. It's an experience I look forward to with the same anticipation every time I visit.

On nous accueille dans un cadre sympathique, le personnel est aux petites soins, la cuisine est précise, raffinée, voir gastronomique, le service est fluide dans une ambiance très agréable... 04/08/2026: After ten years of trying to get a table at Toya during my visits to my parents' house, I finally had the chance to dine there on July 23rd. The wait was more than worth it! From the moment I arrived, everything was in place for a truly wonderful experience. The welcome was warm, the service highly professional, yet friendly, attentive, and discreet. The tableware, glassware, and overall presentation were exquisite and contributed significantly to the enjoyment of the meal. The cuisine was remarkable, with elegant presentation, perfectly balanced flavors, and a genuine sensory experience. In my opinion, this restaurant richly deserves its Michelin star. My only comment was that the dining room was very noisy. The restaurant was full despite having very few tables. Better soundproofing would make a real difference. As I left, I thought it was incredible that I had found such a gem just five kilometers from my parents' house and hadn't managed to go there sooner. Better late than never! A wonderful discovery that I recommend without hesitation.

30/08/2026: The restaurant is only open for lunch, so I highly recommend making a reservation. At 1:30 pm, the time of our appointment, the place was packed. Naturally, it was quite noisy with a huge crowd, but it was a "good kind of noise": the warm, welcoming sound of conviviality and life! It's a truly typical Italian family restaurant. No pizzas here, but a generous selection of homemade dishes. It's hearty, inexpensive, and above all, delicious. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. This isn't just "an" Italian restaurant like any other; it's "THE" Italian restaurant. Absolutely fantastic!

13/09/2026: Unfortunately, this restaurant did not meet my expectations at all. Passing by, I thought it looked very inviting. But when I finally got in, I was very disappointed! The pizzas weren't good. The dough didn't smell like pizza dough. They tasted like supermarket frozen pizzas with a slightly improved look. I'm sorry to say this, but I'm being honest. And the wait was very long… Furthermore, the drinks are cans and plastic bottles and cost the same as the glass ones… and the hot sauce comes in a sachet, like takeaway… So disappointed, disappointed, disappointed. It's a shame, because the setting is charming. I therefore cannot recommend this restaurant, much to my regret.

20/09/2026: Not far from the Meisenthal glassworks center 🥰 This lovely Auberge de la Mésange (Titmouse Inn) truly lives up to its name 🥰🤗 Step inside and you're transported to another era ⌛️ the modern-day 1930s 🤗 Unpretentious cuisine featuring delicious regional products 😋 and reimagined dishes 🥰🤗 A memorable lunch because the two young women are so attentive 🙏🥰 Bravo 🥰🤗 We hadn't booked, we just arrived and took a chance, and we were delighted 🥰🤗🙏 But it's definitely better to book 🙏

17/09/2026: The hotel is a bit dated, but I didn't find that to be a problem. The extremely friendly owner runs a very cozy and welcoming hotel with excellent cuisine. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is very good with a good selection. I stayed overnight with half-board, which I can highly recommend.

18/09/2026: Second time at Casa Verde for lunch and never disappointed! We had the ham and melon salad, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients and a generous portion! In other restaurants, the same salad would have cost almost €10 more! The value for money is excellent. Each time, the welcome and service are perfect, with smiling, friendly staff who always take a little time to chat when you approach them—it's a real pleasure 😊 We'll definitely be back!
