The Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce) was truly excellent (even though it wasn't on the menu). The waitresses were incredibly kind and friendly! We'll be back! 😊

07/10/2026: For a moment when you want to share delicious Italian dishes. Cuisine: Varied dishes, impeccable food hygiene. Service: It's not seamless, and you have to be prepared to wait. Unless you happen to get a very focused and ultra-efficient waitress—special mention to her. Atmosphere: Happy people talk with their hands, but you'll only hear happy customers.

21/10/2026: A wonderful evening for our first time at the restaurant "Au Dragon D'Or". Everything was delicious. The owner clearly enjoys serving you and introducing you to new flavors. We will definitely be back.

22/08/2026: They don't need to offer takeaway. My hotel was nearby, and I walked to the restaurant to order. I said I could come back later to pick it up. They said no, the restaurant was already quite full. I hope this restaurant never has to rely on takeaway customers.

31/08/2026: I came for my birthday on a Monday evening with my boyfriend. We were very well received, but the service was lacking! For a table costing €220 for two, I would have liked to enjoy my evening without feeling rushed. Knowing that it wasn't possible to order another drink afterward, even though it was only 10:20 PM and the website stated closing time was 10:30 PM, I was a little disappointed. We won't be back, as we pay to have a good time, not to have it ruined.

16/08/2026: Outstanding. A good traditional French bistro in a grand high ceiling room, located near the station. The 49 euro 3 course prie fixe menu was astonishing value for money with huge choice of starters and mains and 5 desserts. Good portions, beautiful presentation, slick service and everything well cooked. Sensibly priced wine list. Booking recommended as it is unsurprisingly popular, mainly with locals rather than tourists, as it is about a 15 minute walk from the tourist area around the cathedral. Highly recommended.

26/10/2026: Crazy? That's Sparta! No, that's La Folie. I don't usually write reviews for bars where you just drink. But here we'll make an exception. The service (for a regular tourist) was simply amazing. Drinks arrived quickly, and they even extended happy hour a bit. When the bar was packed, they quickly improvised a table. A bell is rung for every tip. The beer tastes really good. And the atmosphere is fantastic. Of course, it's a bit noisy, as is typical in France, but I could go here every day. Thanks, this definitely made my holiday better.

02/08/2026: We spent a weekend at the hotel. The room was clean and quiet. The restaurant was a truly fabulous discovery. The chef prepared a menu worthy of a top restaurant, all for a very reasonable price. Amuse-bouche, starter, fish, meat, pre-dessert, dessert! Everything was excellent. There were seven adults and two children in our party. The children's menus were also very good, featuring fresh and well-prepared ingredients. A truly wonderful find.

16/07/2026: Very, very reserved (for two people). 75 euros for lunch, 2 x 20 euros. The food was good, but the drinks were stratospherically priced. A quarter-liter of rosé was the most expensive in the region, and the measly beers were the same. Two people at lunchtime was close to 80 euros! It's no wonder there were so few customers. A shame, because with more reasonable prices, we would have happily returned several times and regularly. A pity.

31/08/2026: You really have to know nothing about pizza to give this 5 stars. I've never seen anything like it; the dough is like an uncooked sheet of A4 paper, so thin you can't even scrape it. Are you selling pizzas or flammekueche? The ingredients are industrial quality, worse than Lidl's frozen pizzas, and I'm being kind. Absolutely no taste, and I'm far from being picky. I'm the first to praise good quality food, but I'm sorry, this is shameful. When you see the level of quality Italian food you can easily find in Metz, I don't even understand how they can sell stuff like this. For gourmets, definitely steer clear and leave this to those with no palate who don't mind being ripped off by unscrupulous people pretending to be quality pizza makers.

23/08/2026: I've eaten there several times and I've never been disappointed. The pizzas are delicious and the staff are very welcoming, attentive, and friendly. I highly recommend it.
