31/08/2026: I came for my birthday on a Monday evening with my boyfriend. We were very well received, but the service was lacking! For a table costing €220 for two, I would have liked to enjoy my evening without feeling rushed. Knowing that it wasn't possible to order another drink afterward, even though it was only 10:20 PM and the website stated closing time was 10:30 PM, I was a little disappointed. We won't be back, as we pay to have a good time, not to have it ruined.

16/08/2026: Outstanding. A good traditional French bistro in a grand high ceiling room, located near the station. The 49 euro 3 course prie fixe menu was astonishing value for money with huge choice of starters and mains and 5 desserts. Good portions, beautiful presentation, slick service and everything well cooked. Sensibly priced wine list. Booking recommended as it is unsurprisingly popular, mainly with locals rather than tourists, as it is about a 15 minute walk from the tourist area around the cathedral. Highly recommended.

08/08/2026: We only ever get pizzas from the vending machine! 5 stars because they're excellent, with real pieces of bacon, which is worth mentioning! We'll try the burgers one day!

07/09/2026: Please check that Uber orders are complete; given the price we pay, it will prevent refund requests. The service and quality are much better in Rother; it used to be the opposite. The fries and potatoes are always cold when you eat there.

26/08/2026: I just got McDonald's takeout: vegetarian nuggets from the Best Of meal and a Happy Meal with a cheeseburger. I get home and find chicken nuggets and a cheeseburger. I tried calling them to sort it out, but I couldn't get through, and since I have a young child, I can't go out again. It's understandable that they made a mistake, but being unreachable is unacceptable.

19/08/2026: A fantastic bar with a great atmosphere! The cocktails are works of art, and it's definitely worth a visit – a must-see in Metz!!!

14/09/2026: First experience and excellent! The meal was superb, the service top-notch, and the staff very friendly. Despite a large table of 27 adults and 7 children, we were served quickly and the food was piping hot. I highly recommend it.

08/08/2026: It's good. Fair prices. The air conditioning is a bit cold and the airflow isn't adjustable, according to the staff.

03/08/2026: A nice place to grab a bagel or a small sweet treat. Plenty of seating on the terrace, but the interior is very small and the ordering tables are too close to the door, not practical at all.

05/08/2026: Passing by on the bike path, completely unfamiliar with this restaurant, and finding the setting appealing, my 3-year-old daughter and I decided to stop for a meal. A nice restaurant on the bike path, a pleasant break! Except there were only about three tables occupied, and they asked for one and a half seats to eat, and well, NO! If you don't make a reservation, even though you obviously didn't know about this restaurant, you can leave! Explain to me why you're located on the bike path if you don't reserve at least two tables for passing cyclists? Very disappointed, absolutely no desire to return or even recommend it. It's a real shame, given the inviting setting...

26/07/2026: Very disappointed with our lunch. No mussels, mediocre fish, and an unjustified price. A 50cl carafe of rosé wine for €22.50 was unjustified as the quality was average. What a shame!
