28/06/2026: Disappointed. We went yesterday at 8:15 pm. The young man told us to hurry up and order because he was closing. It was impossible to take our time choosing, and at €8 a glass, we wanted to at least enjoy the experience. So we went somewhere else. Judging by the crowd this Saturday evening, they certainly lost business. A lost customer, what a shame.

11/06/2026: After waiting 15 minutes on the terrace, I asked the waiter if it was "bar service." He told me no, and that someone would come to take our order. After another 5 minutes of waiting, under the watchful eye of the waitress who clearly had a lot to say to a customer, we left. I'm not sure I'll ever go back.

01/07/2026: Excellent fried chicken, fresh out of the fryer. The patio was quite clean, and a KFC employee even helped us with our second tray, bringing it to us on the patio. I'll definitely be back very soon.

16/05/2026: My first experience was a bit disappointing. I ordered a terrine, which was very good, and a beef fillet with morel sauce. They were far too stingy with the sauce and morels, especially considering I paid €35 ​​for the dish. Too expensive for what it was. To make matters worse, they were out of frog legs and capon. For me alone, it came to €80. Too expensive. A restaurant to avoid.

12/05/2026: Everything is perfect! I honestly think this is one of the best restaurants in Metz. The food is exquisite, showcasing the chef's true skill. The service is respectful and worthy of a fine dining establishment. The intimate and pleasant atmosphere is perfect for any occasion. The price is justified; honestly, go for it.

31/05/2026: We ate at Gusti Itaglianni restaurant this Sunday. The location was great, the waitresses and owner were friendly, the dishes were delicious and very well presented. 👍 We'll definitely be back, I highly recommend it! 🤩

14/03/2026: A superb experience! The waiter (perhaps the owner) had a great sense of humor. The food was excellent, and everyone found something they enjoyed. We were there for a birthday celebration, and we were treated to a birthday candle and music 👍 Highly recommended!

10/03/2026: Bad experience at Santa Maria or La Pagaille, we don't know their real name… Very few options for vegetarians to begin with. For starters, they were out of burrata, so we ordered a Caesar salad without bacon (and therefore without mushrooms or other accompaniments). There were no croutons, tomatoes, eggs, or onions in it (even though it was listed on the menu). When we pointed this out (only about the egg), we waited ten minutes for a tiny egg cut in half – if that isn't a rip-off… The salad consisted solely of a huge amount of crème fraîche, a few mushrooms and potatoes, and lettuce, all for €16… The waiter who took our payment didn't even ask if we were satisfied with our meal, so of course we mentioned it, and they gave us the salad for free anyway. How I miss the old Santa Maria, light years away from this restaurant. I won't be back.

30/05/2026: The hotel has its own unique charm, definitely good for a three-star hotel, except for the extremely squeaky room doors. The neighbors always know when you come and go. And it takes an incredibly long time for the hot water to come through, but that's really nitpicking :-) The area is fantastic for hikers and explorers; there's nothing going on for city dwellers. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant; it's difficult to get a table without a reservation, and the chef is simply superb! Breakfast was also available as an extra and very good; nothing was lacking!

05/06/2026: Best kebab in Thionville in my opinion, always well served, generous portions, nothing to complain about. I highly recommend this establishment.

05/06/2026: I've been eating Pizza Magna forever and have never been disappointed. My daughter always asks for hers. A top-notch team and delicious pizzas (the best in the village for me).

24/05/2026: We were running a bit late and the kitchen was closed, which we didn't know, yet the man made every effort to still serve tagliatelle with salmon, which we politely declined when we asked if we could have some fries instead; no problem at all. Thanks for all the effort

09/12/2025: My first visit to this snack bar was great, I really enjoyed it. But I was very disappointed afterward: they messed up my orders several times. Today I tried again, ordering a two-meat taco… I'm still looking for the meat. I asked for raw vegetables, but there weren't any. It mostly felt like I was eating bread soaked in sauce (and I asked for a lot of sauce), not a real taco. It's a shame, the potential is there, but the quality is no longer there. I won't be back, unfortunately.

02/12/2025: This bakery-café is a true community hub. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and always welcoming. There's plenty of space to sit down, relax, or share a pleasant moment with friends or family. The prices are affordable, and the quality is consistently high, whether it's for the pastries, breads, or drinks. It's a place where you feel comfortable and enjoy returning, both for the ambiance and the generous service.

18/05/2026: A dream within a dream. Metz has so many unique attractions to offer, not least this patisserie. The only downside is that dogs aren’t allowed in the café.

17/05/2026: Jokes about French waiters are no joke! The waitress with short black hair and glasses was aggressive and needed to calm down. Yesterday, she yelled at my mother and me and wanted us to leave. The whole restaurant turned to stare at us. It only stopped when my husband arrived with the receipt and confirmed that we had already ordered at the register. The atmosphere was ruined.

05/06/2026: Bad experience! I ordered a Coke without ice, and I got it with ice! They asked me what sauce I wanted (mayo). They didn't have any sauces!! Plus, no napkins… Seriously, guys, don't take advantage, order the whole thing, right?

30/05/2026: Unacceptable! 1 hour for a McDonald's meal, and on top of that, it was served cold and didn't even come with fries and the burger!

02/05/2026: A Michelin-starred restaurant, really? The chef and the front of house clearly have a serious ego and humility problem. To have the right to enjoy your meal, you must either be a regular or of a certain age, according to the chef. (See the misogyny: "You need to calm down" when I ask a question, and the ageism that comes out of nowhere without any comment from us justifying it: "I was in this kitchen before you were even born," as if fine dining is only appreciated after a certain age?) Otherwise, you have to accept the disparaging comments from the front of house (about money, about the staff who work "for us") and be aware of the privilege of being able to dine in this place (one of the most expensive one-star restaurants in the region, despite its rather unremarkable location). This intolerable and disrespectful attitude is unworthy of a fine-dining restaurant, especially one with a Michelin star.
