02/04/2026: I was very surprised by the glowing reviews of the food. Our €30 set menu included a hard-boiled egg with mayonnaise and undercooked leeks, a tasteless vol-au-vent, and a floating island dessert. I seriously doubt it was "homemade." Luckily, the service was quick and the staff very pleasant; otherwise, this establishment wouldn't even have deserved one star!

30/04/2026: The €36 set menu is generous, with plenty of choice between starters, main courses, and desserts. However, two children's menus without drinks at €18 each seem far too expensive. Adding two soft drinks brings the total to €21.50, or €43 for two children, which I find unacceptable. I wanted to come back before the bill arrived, but the price of these menus is simply not right.

17/03/2026: We had lunch there. It was far too noisy; even the waitress couldn't understand us. The staff wasn't very friendly. The food was very average. We won't be going back.

31/03/2026: Very centrally located, room and bathroom small, beds excellent, especially the pillows – I've rarely slept so well. Breakfast buffet adequate, something for everyone. Stairs to the underground parking garage are a bit steep, but the parking space itself is very good. The staff: very, very friendly, courteous, and helpful! Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good. I was there with my granddaughter, and we would gladly return! A small tip: please inform guests who have booked parking spaces in the underground garage that the entry/exit code changes every Sunday ;-)

02/03/2026: A HUGE thank you to Julie! Her warm welcome, responsiveness, and unwavering kindness made my two-day stay, so essential to me, possible. Without her and her professionalism, I simply wouldn't have been able to enjoy my trip. The hotel's location is perfect, and the room and bedding were very comfortable and spotless! Thank you again!

14/05/2026: Delicious fries, overcooked! Eaten here, this shouldn't happen. The kebab meat was undercooked, a real shame, we won't be back.

10/04/2026: I had a wonderful lunch today. I don't go to this well-known kebab shop in Stiring-Wendel often enough, simply because I forget. There's a really wide selection of hot dishes to try, to eat in or take away. I took a picture of my plate and scanned the menus and prices for you. This is the latest printed leaflet available on the counter. The TV wasn't working, maybe it wasn't turned on. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The whole team is very attentive. A waiter or waitress comes to your table to take your order and then brings your freshly prepared hot dish right to your table. You can eat inside or outside (weather permitting, of course). But in the summer, it's just fantastic.

18/01/2026: A sublime birthday evening. The dinner was delicious, the service impeccable! Everything was cooked to perfection, well done Sacha, it was a real treat! A special mention for the baba bouchon! Absolutely divine. Thank you for the lovely table, slightly secluded. The space and tranquility are truly delightful.

26/04/2026: RATS RATS RATS AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I went through the drive-thru an hour ago and there's a colony of rats roaming everywhere and even getting into the back of the restaurant under the stairs! It's appalling! I filmed everything! I tried calling them, but the line's been busy for an hour, so I'm posting this here!

02/05/2026: Unlike some people whose comments are mean and unjustified, we love it! Yes, the place is a bit dated, like something from the 70s... So what?! The most important thing is what's on your plate, and we've never been disappointed. The prices are more than reasonable, and the ingredients are high quality. This restaurant is run by an elderly couple who deserve a lot of credit and have our utmost admiration. It's open 7 days a week, lunch and dinner, except Monday evenings—it's simply amazing! So, all you naysayers, just keep walking... We'll be back again and again as long as it's open...

26/04/2026: Finally, a restaurant that stands out from the crowd. Excellent dishes, with special mention for the beef udon, chicken karaage, crunchy salmon, and shrimp tempura. The mochi for dessert are truly delicious (matcha, black sesame, and yuzu). The dishes are full of flavor and have wonderful taste. I highly recommend all the dishes and sushi, which are incredible, and the attentive staff ensures you have a great time.

04/05/2026: Breaded Arctic char served without vegetables or salad, with a thin slice of sausage per person as an appetizer. I was dissatisfied; in fact, I couldn't finish my meal and I felt ill because it was all very greasy.

03/05/2026: Two hours to be served at lunchtime… you really must have time to waste. Reservation at 12:30 pm, food arrived at 2 pm. And the worst part was the reaction when we dared to mention it: “You’re not the only ones, we have two other rooms and a terrace.” A frankly inappropriate, almost guilt-tripping response, as if waiting that long was normal. As for the service, a nearly full glass of sparkling wine was spilled when clearing the table. It can happen, of course, but it perfectly illustrates the overall lack of attention. Thankfully, it was replaced, but still… And the food? Decent portions, but completely bland. The lamb shank, in particular, was tasteless, characterless, as if it had been forgotten in the kitchen when it came time to season it. In short: a long wait, little consideration, and food that doesn’t make up for it. Definitely not a place that makes you want to come back.
