03/09/2024: !!!Avoid!!!Really very disappointed with this dilapidated hotel the air conditioning does not work properly, the old bathroom the television which stands on a hold and the worst of all that we take 2 draft Heineken 25cl 9€90 from the real thieves I never come back again.

22/08/2024: Stay at the start of the week in this campanile. We were very disappointed. The cleanliness really left something to be desired. Lots of dog hairs littered the floor. The corners of the floor and ceiling were full of webs and small spiders. One bed was poorly made and there was a hollow in the mattress. Only one towel was available in the bathroom even though there were two of us. I wouldn't call this hotel a restaurant given what they offer for dinner, which is not much choice in dishes.

21/09/2024: Update after 5 years: I am lowering my rating to 4 stars. Prices have increased, accompanied by a reduction in portions in pastries.
Otherwise: Excellent pastry from Metz, an institution. Lots of people in store each time but the products remain excellent and true to their reputation.
19/09/2024: We turn a blind eye to certain salons in Metz but we forget that for quality service this is where it happens. And it's always delicious.

17/09/2024: We’ve tried this restaurant in Lille and finally made it to the Metz location. Let me tell you… the beer is amazing and the food is spectacular! I really love the menu options and you get a large amount of food. If you’re in the area and looking for some beer and delicious food, this is the place to go. The staff are so friendly (and most speak perfect English) and they have English menu as well!
Definitely going back on our next visit to Metz

29/08/2024: Bad experience in this restaurant for lunch. Cold waitress. No more daily specials at 12:30 p.m. No draft beer! Serving wine while we are still at the aperitif without asking our opinion!...Escalope with cream as a main course, it is simply grilled in a pan then put on the sauce which is on the plate, so dry!! Bouche à la reine, also garnished with ham, a first in a restaurant! When leaving the restaurant, the waitress was not surprised by my dissatisfaction with our meals!... Not recommended!!

26/08/2024: The reservation by telephone was already not very promising, the gentleman was not very friendly.
The welcome by this same person was not warmer. Fortunately for us, we were served by a charming young lady who took very good care of us, a very friendly waitress, and concerned throughout the meal if everything went well.
So, this is how you can have a bad opinion of an establishment, just because of one element.
Long wait, but the meal was good.
