27/09/2026: Came on Saturday, September 26th in the evening around 9pm, for a takeaway meal for two. I decided to pay in cash. The order total was €45.75. I gave the person at the counter (a fairly tall man) five €10 bills to settle the amount, and he asked for the remaining €5.75. Since I was with someone, I didn't pay attention and gave him the extra amount because I figured a counting error could happen (mistakes do happen). My companion didn't ask for the receipt, but as I stepped away from the counter, I counted the number of bills I had left (knowing I had €100 in cash in €10 bills), and I realized there was more than half the amount, so €50. I went back to the counter to ask for my order receipt, and they asked me to wait while they found it, or some other excuse they gave me. Meanwhile, my companion went to the restroom and found it completely filthy... (I'm starting to understand why train stations...) SNCF (the French National Railways) charges for the toilets (at least theirs are always clean...). Having ordered takeout and ice cream for dessert, and not living in the next town over, we decided to go home to eat our meal. We asked to pick up our order, which had been ready for a few minutes, while waiting for the receipt that never came back... When we got home and it was time for dessert, which was separate from the rest of the hot food order (I feel I should point that out), I found a French fry in my dessert... I have absolutely no idea how it got there, considering the French fry and ice cream sections aren't kept in the same place in the kitchen, so... All of this combined is really a lot for a single order: a waiter at the counter pocketing a €10 tip all by himself, taking advantage of people's carelessness, filthy toilets, and finding French fries in ice cream. It's unacceptable!! I'm never going back there, avoid it at all costs!! And a word of advice: if you do go and pay in cash, make sure you remember the exact amount to pay at the machine (take a picture of it because apart from the receipt with your order number, you won't get anything else at the machine) and carefully count the number of bills and the amount you give to the person at the counter, otherwise they'll steal money right under your nose!!

30/08/2026: Roadside restaurant. My wife and I stopped there. It was our first time. The meal was decent.

21/08/2026: Excellent restaurant! We dined at the Auberge de Mulcey and were absolutely delighted. The welcome was warm and friendly from the moment we arrived, the service was attentive, and the setting was very pleasant. The food was truly excellent: well-prepared, flavorful, and high-quality traditional dishes. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the kitchen. A lovely country spot where you feel right at home. We highly recommend it and will gladly return!

06/09/2026: We came on a Saturday night at 10 pm for an Irish coffee, and the waiter refused to serve us, saying the coffee machine had already been cleaned, even though they close at 2 am 😡 We went back on Sunday afternoon. The weather was nice, and we wanted to sit outside and add another table since there were several of us, but the waiter still refused. Even if we moved a table, we would have put it back when we left. The waiter is really unfriendly and even arrogant. No wonder there are fewer customers 😡 We've been here before, and the other waiter was much nicer, and even the bartender was. Oh well, they lost some customers, and we went somewhere else where it was nicer 😊

14/08/2026: We ordered a half-pint of sparkling wine to start while we waited for our cocktails. The waiter, turning his back and walking away, replied, "We don't have any!" I wonder where the friendly atmosphere is! We left...

13/10/2026: The current price surge doesn't justify everything, and certainly not treating customers like cash cows. At first glance, the menu is quite enticing, and the dishes look tempting. Unfortunately, once the plate is in front of you, the disappointment is palpable. The prices are simply excessive considering the quality of the food served. This is all the more regrettable given the pleasant setting, friendly atmosphere, and welcoming service. In short: a pleasant place, but frankly disappointing value for money. At these prices, one has the right to expect much higher quality on the plate.

13/09/2026: We went to eat with my 8-year-old son. I asked for a children's menu (not listed on the menu). The menu was €12 plus a burger (???) for €1.50, and of course, without the €4 drink. The total came to €17.50 for the children's menu. I now understand why it's not on your menu. We won't be back, which is a shame because the service and food are excellent. A ripped-off customer...

09/10/2026: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ A disastrous experience! Over 20 minutes of waiting for an order, even though everyone else had already been served, despite this person having ordered first. A truly incomprehensible lack of organization and professionalism. It's unacceptable to have to wait so long when others have already been served. A very disappointing experience; I absolutely do not recommend it. Avoid at all costs!

05/10/2026: I pick up an order, and the short girl with glasses and curly hair, who's at the gate with the headset taking Uber and drive-thru orders, doesn't say hello, goodbye, or thank you… She's completely lacking in basic manners. Appalling. Teach her some manners, or put her on the chip shop if she can't handle customer service. She has no business being at the counter.

10/09/2026: Unacceptable! We made a reservation in June for September 9th (wedding anniversary) and received a confirmation request on September 8th. We found the door locked! We didn't call anyone! We checked their website (temporarily closed). Please inform your customers! 😡Sylvie

20/09/2026: Absolutely delicious!!!!! I ordered yesterday and it's the best kebab I've had in the area lately. The fries were crispy and the meat was excellent (not dry at all). The proportions of everything were perfect! The service, as usual, was very professional and fast.
