08/08/2024: Very nice staff and good but not very good food. I ordered the "Gourmand" for breakfast: baguette with jam, a hot drink and fresh orange juice. Everything was perfect, but a bit expensive for €8. I also ordered extra pancakes, you get four small pancakes, which unfortunately really didn't taste good. Almost tasteless and above all an intense baking powder taste. Therefore only 4 stars for the food. However, the location is beautiful right in the city center and the staff is very friendly, so definitely not worse than 4 stars overall.

08/09/2024: A wonderful time at the Auberge de Vezon! Here, everything is homemade with passion, and it shows in every dish. The cuisine is authentic and full of flavors. We shared two starters: frog legs and foie gras. For main course, we chose a homemade burger as well as a pork belly confit with green asparagus cooked in its own juice, accompanied by roasted potatoes, a real treat! The welcome is exceptional: warm, family-friendly and attentive. Every little detail is taken care of, which makes the atmosphere even more friendly. You immediately feel good there. We will come back with pleasure!

16/01/2026: The bakery is clean, the products are high quality, and the manager is kind, respectful, and welcoming. However, I would like to report the behavior of some of the saleswomen. At the end of 2024, more precisely on December 12th around 8:40 a.m., before going to work, I stopped by the La Tarte au Sucre bakery to buy a marble cake and some doughnuts. There were two saleswomen in the shop, deep in conversation. I said hello twice, without a response. The third time, I said, "Is anyone there?" One of them then turned around and looked at me strangely. When I asked for doughnuts, she replied in a very firm tone, "I don't have any doughnuts, period." At the time, I didn't pay any attention to it, but in retrospect, this situation made me feel uncomfortable. I find it regrettable that a lack of courtesy on the part of some saleswomen can tarnish the image of an otherwise high-quality establishment. I hope that this type of behavior can be corrected in the future.

11/10/2024: An atypical place, like a feeling of being in Berlin. A building that has become a place dedicated to culture. UMJ allows jazz groups to rehearse in very good studio conditions with quality equipment.

25/07/2024: Great restaurant. We had a starter, main course and dessert. The homemade foie gras is excellent. The atmosphere is as I experienced it a few years ago, warm. The dishes are generous and well presented. A restaurant that I highly recommend.

19/09/2024: Great restaurant with a very warm welcome. Accepts dogs which is becoming rare these days thanks to them. For the food excellent and very plentiful. If we go through there again we will come back. Recommended to everyone

27/09/2024: To flee, Order delivery with UberEat, Really poor quality meat, with a stale taste. So-called “Moroccan” salad, made up of an onion, half a tomato, and 3 pieces of cucumber for €7… even in a kebab the salad is more copious. So bad and too expensive for such poor quality.

20/04/2024: J'ai pris mon petit déjeuner ici et j'ai été déçu par le manque de choix du buffet. Pas de confiture ou miel, ni de pains variés. Pas de laitages... Ni fruits de saison. Peut-être car c'était un dimanche ? J'aurai apprécié au moins des yaourts et un bon pain . Le café au lait a été servi froid... La personne n'avait pas de solution pour réchauffer le lait et j'ai du choisir une autre boisson... Le peu que j'ai mangé était bon mais sans plus. Il y avait un cake fait maison apparemment mais il était sec. Pas de choix de céréales non plus...je suis tombé sur un mauvais jour? La dame était cependant agréable et disponible.

05/09/2024: c est correct sans plus. entree avocat/saumon, bon mais presentation a l arrache (saumon etale sur l avocat) et plat de poissons trop sale et le poisson trop cuit. la tarte tatin etait bonne (bon c est pas du fait maison) voila pour un dejeuner rapide entre potes ou pause pour le boulot ca le fait. les serveuses insistent un peu trop a vous pousser a boire, elles nous ont demande 5 fois si on voulait boire autre chose alors que nos verres etaient encore remplis a moitie.

29/08/2024: Das gern besuchte Bistro hat sich, an dem Besuchstag, sehr negativ gezeigt. Ambiente wie immer authentisches Bistro. Service überfordert. Froschschenkel sehr gut. Aber dann. Kalbsnieren in Senfsauce,Mehlpampe. Entrecôte kalt serviert, zäh. Entenbrust, die Fettschicht verbrannt. Trocken. Fischfang unspektakulär. Pommes nur nach 2x reklamiert. Für 4 Besucher ein enttäuschenden Abend. Nächster Besuch gestrichen.

16/07/2024: Sur le chemin du retou de vacances, j'ai cherché un endroit sympa pour manger avec ma famille. J'ai eu la belle surprise de tomber sur l'Auberge du Gros. Tout était parfait. L'accueil, la carte, le conseil, l'assiette. A (re-)découvrir.

04/06/2024: I went to Maison Caffet twice, each time I was extremely well received by the salespeople, I hadn't been since Fresson so I didn't know their products or their brand. The saleswoman explained everything to me well and also made me taste their specialty. A pure delight! I chose several individual pastries and my god they were good! We recognize an excellent pastry chef by his way of making pastries with great taste and little sugar, which makes this culinary experience exceptional. You can really feel the taste of the products and not just the sugar like with standard pastries. I find the price of the individual pastries reasonable given their quality. I could tell you other exceptional pastries in Metz with much higher prices for lower quality. Their chocolate is excellent, not too sweet and not greasy, a little marvel! I will come back for sure
