28/03/2026: Refused entry for no valid reason, just based on how we looked. My cousin and I, both Black and well-dressed, were turned away immediately by the security guard. It clearly looks like discrimination. Very bad experience, I do not recommend it.

26/03/2026: The saleswoman was unpleasant and haughty, but you bought something anyway. You tried to chat and be friendly. But a few minutes later (5-10 minutes), you walked past her on the street and overheard her slyly criticizing you to someone during her cigarette break. Tip: Walk a little further and you'll surely find a much warmer and friendlier pastry shop.

25/02/2026: I had booked a month and a half in advance, explaining it was for a marriage proposal. I had requested a secluded spot on the terrace and a bottle of non-alcoholic Champagne so I could toast with my partner, who has suffered three strokes. Upon arrival, there was no record of our reservation. We were simply seated on the terrace. Apparently, the supplier doesn't carry that type of drink, but I suspect it was simply overlooked, just like our reservation. The staff seemed far more preoccupied with chatting and laughing than attending to customers until I voiced my dissatisfaction. The meal ended without dessert, as you can imagine. We had come last year, and everything was perfect. After tonight, we will certainly never return to this restaurant.

10/05/2026: Tried again after 6 months, but what a time! Dry, overcooked sandwiches, lacking flavor, and they can't even respect an order. I ordered a 280g veggie and realized there was a dry one... no one there, but a 25-minute wait for that... getting worse and worse.

02/12/2025: Proud resident of Marpsich since birth. I used to go there with my family, happy as a clam to sit at the Spring Lake… I'm writing this message in the parking lot of that bygone idyll. A buffet worthy of a clumsy teenager reheating a plate of pasta left by his single mother after her midweek outing… Slimy swamps have formed, the sauces so frozen in time. Are they, too, made of marble in the face of the pervasive desolation emanating from this buffet? One thing is certain: the Zahn family won't find the One Piece; the golden age of culinary piracy is over for this family, hardened by life. As for the service, human warmth wouldn't even be detectable by the most advanced thermal imaging on the market. Let's finish with the highlight of the show: desserts! Sweet breadsticks, old coconut balls, and other ice creams dug out from the back of the cupboard, surely dating back to their heyday (I can't imagine any sane person being tempted, even then). Wishing you a pleasant evening in remembrance of our wild dijo. Cheers.

09/05/2026: Having been a customer of Nadia and Noël's for over 20 years, this morning I thought I'd go for a coffee and see what the new owners are like. I arrive and ask the woman with the tattoos if I could have a coffee. She coldly tells me I have to go to the counter inside to order. Okay, I go, but no one's there. I call out, and someone comes over, speaking to me just as coldly as the first person (it must be the owner). I ask for an Americano, and he tells me it'll be €2. I point out I'm on the terrace, and that's when he tells me I have to make it myself. I tell him I have reduced mobility, but whatever, I do it. (The €2 is probably the price with service). I sit down at an outside table. The so-called waitress (the waitress behind the bar is like Mercurochrome to a wooden leg), with her vaporizer, is still standing around doing nothing. A friend and one of his friends sat down at the next table, and that's when the waitress brought them their order. I immediately asked her if she was making fun of me. She told me it was posted, that you have to order and do everything yourself. Personally, I think I was ripped off regarding the price of my coffee, and more importantly, my disability. I absolutely cannot let this go unchallenged. Personally, I think these people have no business being in this kind of establishment. It's not just about hosting parties; you also need to treat daytime customers with dignity, even if you're feeling arrogant from the night before. Otherwise, you should either stop working the night shift or the day shift, or better yet, change careers, because you are in no way professionals.

08/03/2026: Be careful with your bill. On several occasions, I've noticed that the charges were higher than the prices displayed, sometimes by as much as €1 more on certain items. I advise customers to check their bill carefully before paying.

21/09/2025: Calm atmosphere, however the quality is normal or even poor at times. For the price I think it's reasonable anyway. You really can't expect better for this price, but if you're aiming for quality, look elsewhere. On the other hand, the price-quality ratio is good.

13/04/2026: We are regular customers, and for the past three weeks, every time we've been there, there's no Nordic bread; only the traditional baguette. I'm told there's only one baker. Today I went back a second time because this morning I was told there would be some in the afternoon, but no luck! Will you ever start making other types of bread besides the traditional baguette?

02/05/2026: We've been customers of Mama Mia Pizza since the beginning, and our only observation so far is that they're nowhere near as good as they were! They're not likely to see us place an order anymore. When I called Thursday evening: my husband wanted a three-cheese calzone, and they told me they don't make them… my husband has been ordering them for 10 years! 😂😂 Then my daughter wanted a children's pizza with goat cheese and honey, but no! It's a Margherita pizza and nothing else (even though she's always ordered a children's pizza with goat cheese and honey). So I didn't place an order. Their response: "Yes, Neius, you're right, order somewhere else." We ended up at Pomodoro, and the pizzas were much better. I can't give zero stars, sorry.

01/05/2026: The dough was of very average quality. The toppings were equally mediocre. Second review: I went back, and it's even worse than before. We picked it up this time, and the atmosphere inside was catastrophic! Seriously, if things aren't going well, you should stop... The pizzas were truly of very poor quality. No effort was made on the dough or the toppings... It's outrageous! This isn't quality pizza. It's edible, of course, and I understand the desire to make money first, but if you want real pizza, you won't find it here.

14/05/2026: McDonald's is appalling. They can't even make a proper, hot sandwich. Orders are ALWAYS incomplete. Now we have to check our orders in front of the servers and even open the sandwiches ourselves... shameful! If you can't do this job properly, you should consider doing something else.

13/05/2026: McDonald's is very dirty. There's a serious lack of hygiene, especially in the kitchen, with trash everywhere on the floor and a very unpleasant manager.

29/04/2026: Shameful. Paying €4.90 for a McFlurry and getting a half-empty ice cream is a rip-off. Even my 6-year-old daughter noticed that half of it was missing… Given the price, it's unacceptable. I won't be back.

22/04/2026: What a welcome! Very friendly, they offered us balloons, candy, and help, all with a smile! The restaurant is clean and well-run.

28/11/2025: As a matter of principle, I don't give a negative review because I ate there for decades. I ordered four servings of sweet and sour sauce; just by looking at the color, you could tell it wasn't the same batch. Some of the sauce had simply fermented... a strong, overpowering taste of alcohol, so that plate went straight in the bin. The rice was rock hard, almost raw... After the sauce, I wondered how old it was... It's crazy to take over such a Thionville institution and ruin it like this. Judging by the other reviews, it's far from an isolated case.
