04/02/2026: Of course, I can't comment on the food served at this bouchon or the atmosphere, as I wasn't given the opportunity. However, I feel fully entitled to express my disapproval of the service. On February 5, 2026, before noon, I stopped by Les Culottes Longues to book a table for four for the evening. The woman behind the bar glanced at her phone and announced that all the seats were already taken. I persisted and asked if it would be possible to book a table for three for the following evening. This time, the woman simply glanced at the phone in front of her and replied in a sarcastic tone that everything was already booked. Of course, she couldn't verify anything in such a short time. The terse conversation was conducted in English, so she knew perfectly well that I was a foreigner. I'm naturally inquisitive, and the visit immediately struck me as suspicious. After leaving the bouchon, I asked a friend who spoke French fluently to try to make a reservation by phone. She made it without the slightest difficulty within the next minute. It's not up to me to investigate why I was treated so rudely. I'd like to believe the waitress was simply having a bad day and was a bit picky. However, I'll be giving the address a wide berth. By the way, I don't have the luxury of knowing how to serve the bouchon without the ambiance of a good experience. In revanche, I feel completely at ease with the expense of service. En effet, avant midi, le 5/02/2026, je suis entrée chez Les Culottes Longues pour demander une réservation pour 4 personnes le soir même. La femme derrière le bar a jeté un coup d'œil à son téléphone et a déclaré que tout était déjà complet. Je ne me suis pas avouée vaincue et j'ai demandé s'il serait possible de réserver une table pour le lendemain soir pour trois personnes. Cette fois, elle s'est littéralement contentée de regarder le téléphone posé devant elle et m'a répondu d'un ton désagréable que tout était déjà complet. Évidemment, en si peu de temps, elle n'a rien pu vérifier. La conversation laconique s'est déroulée en anglais ; elle savait donc parfaitement que j’étais étrangère. Étant de nature curieuse, le déroulement de la visite m'a tout de suite paru suspect. En sortant du bouchon, j'ai donc demandé à une amie parlant couramment français d'essayer de réserver par téléphone. Sans la moindre difficulté, elle l'a fait dans la minute suivante. Je préfère ne pas m'interroger sur la raison pour laquelle on m'a traitée de façon si peu aimable. J'aimerais croire que la serveuse avait simplement une mauvaise journée et des mouches dans le nez. Quoi qu'il en soit, j'éviterai soigneusement cette adresse à l'avenir. I can't say anything about the food or the atmosphere, as I didn't get the chance to experience them, but unfortunately my experience with the service was disappointing. Before noon on February 5, 2026, I stopped by to ask for a table for four for the same evening and was told the restaurant was fully booked. I then asked about a table for three for the following evening and received the same answer, after only a quick glance at a phone and in a rather unfriendly tone. Out of curiosity, I later asked a friend who speaks French fluently to call. She managed to make a reservation within a minute. I’d like to believe it was just a bad day, but the whole situation left a bad impression, and I’ll probably choose another place next time.

24/01/2026: Original and constantly evolving cuisine, competitively priced for weekday lunches but a bit pricey the rest of the time; however, this is the price to pay for fresh, high-quality dishes that are constantly being created. Update January 2026: Following a period of decline a few years ago, we returned today. What a delight! Judging an establishment by the quality of its spotless restrooms would be rather reductive in this case. The gourmet menu is of exceptional quality, the service impeccable and very warm. Wines are served with the courses. A very pleasant atmosphere. The icing on the cake: they accept paper holiday vouchers—well done, as we end up spending more! Congratulations on the overall experience.

01/01/2026: New Year's Day meal with a group of 5 friends. It was okay, but the plates were cold, which was unpleasant—a shame for a group of 5. A bit pricey; we've had better.

14/02/2026: Dinner with friends on a weeknight. The service was excellent, as was the food. I personally ordered the 300g rare steak, and it was delicious—very tender meat cooked exactly as I requested. I highly recommend it.

14/02/2026: Great for four of us. The fifth person didn't like their revisited tarte tatin. They preferred a baked apple… a shame. Very pleasant service.

05/02/2026: I spent all my loyalty points to get free mochi ice cream, but when I got to the store, the cashier refused to include them in my order even though they were clearly listed on the receipt. As a result, I spent all my loyalty points and didn't even get to use the offer. In short, a huge disappointment.

12/12/2025: I wanted to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of this lovely brasserie, and I was treated to a calf's liver cooked to a perfect pink, a rare treat worth mentioning. The lemon tart was also only slightly sweet; again, it's rare to find this type of cake prepared with such precision. The service was pleasant, with a smile that was neither too quick nor too slow. A wonderful evening, exceeding my expectations. I'll definitely be back.
