17/02/2026: As a discerning tea enthusiast, I am very disappointed by the Georges Cannon selection in this shop. Although the store is a retailer, it only offers one tea that matches my search criteria from their entire range. The other products available are of no interest to anyone looking for specific teas from this brand. This is all the more regrettable because Georges Cannon headquarters, when contacted directly, systematically refuses to sell samples to allow for pre-purchase testing, and refers us to retailers in Lyon who do not have a diverse inventory. I am leaving this review here, as there is no official Georges Cannon store in Lyon, to raise awareness of this dissatisfaction: between the complete absence of samples (even paid ones) and the lack of relevant teas in the shop, it is impossible to discover this brand. A "specialist" tea company should not be so inaccessible to its customers.

15/02/2026: I bought a Valentine's Day gift set for my girlfriend, and she loved it! I got some great advice when I got home, so I'm definitely not disappointed! I'll be back.

28/03/2026: I ordered a breaded chicken burger and a medium order of fries...€7. I got a burger with an overcooked, flat ground beef patty, stuffed with raw red onions, a slice of cold melted cheese...and 10 fries. Avoid this place. It's disgusting, it's dirty, it's shady.

17/03/2026: We spent one night at the Hôtel L’Ermitage, and frankly, the current 3.9/5 rating on Google doesn't reflect our experience. We had booked the Belvédère room, which offers an absolutely incredible view of the Monts d’Or and Lyon. The setting is calm, peaceful, and truly magnificent—a real haven of tranquility. Upon arrival, we had a drink on the restaurant terrace, bathed in sunshine: a very pleasant way to start our stay. We then had the relaxation area to ourselves, allowing us to truly unwind, exactly what we were looking for. In the evening, we dined at the hotel restaurant: excellent cuisine, discreet and pleasant service. We had a wonderful evening. The next morning, breakfast was a very pleasant surprise: a well-organized buffet with a high-quality savory selection (which is quite rare and worth mentioning), featuring organic and seasonal products. The desserts were also excellent: pastries, delicious bread, praline brioche, organic products, and a superb homemade pear compote. We were able to enjoy the relaxation area one last time before our departure. The early check-out before noon is a real plus, allowing you to fully enjoy the morning. Of course, having a professional eye for the restaurant industry ourselves, we noticed a few imperfections, particularly regarding the cleanliness of the relaxation area (chewing gum and hair were found on the edge of the jacuzzi upon our arrival, and these hadn't been cleaned up by our departure). The facilities also show some signs of age. However, this didn't spoil our stay in any way. The staff was lovely from beginning to end, and the overall experience remains very positive. We loved our stay, so kudos to the team, and we will most likely be back next month.

14/03/2026: Quite disappointed by this otherwise well-known hotel. The reception wasn't very welcoming; the person was on the phone for at least five minutes without telling us they'd be there in a few minutes. The room was nice enough, but the floor wasn't clean, there was only one large towel for two people, and no phone to contact reception. The pool is tiny, with just two sun loungers practically next to each other, water everywhere, and no one to even mop it up. The spa was very nice! Breakfast was very good with a magnificent view, but forget about a friendly welcome and a smile from the staff—they must not be paid for that! Would I recommend it? No! There are so many better options elsewhere for the same price.

(…continuing operations “constitutes a significant threat to consumer health due to the high probability of contamination (microbiological, chemical, physical) and the resulting risk of poisoning.”) I hope you will make way for more professional individuals.

09/04/2026: The owner and waiter were incredibly rude and indifferent; they ignored me for three hours and refused to serve me. I absolutely do not recommend this place, where you definitely don't feel welcome if you don't belong to a certain social class.

08/12/2025: We were looking for somewhere to eat after the show in the Parc de la Tête during the Festival of Lights. We headed towards the Cité Internationale and stumbled upon this little restaurant; the staff were friendly, the food was quick and good.

09/11/2025: I'm delighted, as I rarely find food to my liking. The menu is original, the selection is nice, and the food is good and fresh—neither too sweet nor too rich. The prices are quite reasonable. Highly recommended.

21/03/2026: Toujours de bon produits, le Pain juste parfait, même quand tu le congèle (cause leur offre 3+1 baguette) il est toujours aussi bon une fois décongelé et assez fan de leur offre quasi pour tout les produits en 3+1 a des prix très compétitif !

12/03/2026: I ordered a takeaway meal at the McDonald's on Rue Victor Hugo in the 2nd arrondissement. From Lyon, it's always been fine until tonight when I encountered a young girl who didn't even know how to say good evening. After that... The woman had absolutely no expression and seemed very disgusted to be at her post. She took my order without giving me a receipt with the order number on it. And there's a way to call you by your number. Twice in a row, she was very nice, but without a receipt with the order number, I couldn't know what my order was. You shouldn't be depressed or racist when you work in a place with all kinds of customers. I'm not there to please everyone. I'm there to order, so I pay for a minimum of respect. Then they complain about being insulted or disrespected. What a generation! They haven't had the same upbringing as in the past. We got it!!! I really had to restrain myself from speaking to her the way she deserved!!!!! We need to hire more mature, adult, and respectful people than this kind of girl!!!!

03/04/2025: The burgers are very good, it's original. It's super nice to have a One Piece themed restaurant closer to the station! Just missing perhaps a little music to add to the atmosphere. But otherwise it's really cool, good and the price is very affordable!

16/02/2025: 🏠 Atmosphere: very beautiful decoration in the One Piece theme, it's very original. The server is super friendly and very conversational, very smiling. Small downside for the door which is drafty but I imagine we chose the wrong place. Another downside because we waited over 45 minutes before being served. There were 2 of us and a table of 4 girls who arrived after us was served before us. But we were offered coffee so it was a nice commercial gesture (I think it would have been nice to tell us in advance "sorry for the wait, your burgers will be ready soon" for example, it's always nice :).) 🍔 Food: I salute the originality of the One Piece hat-shaped burger. On the other hand, I suggest a few points for improvement: I find the edges a little dry, they would be better browned & the BBQ burger could be a little less loaded with sauce.

16/02/2026: We went for Valentine's Day and had a very good meal. The set menu was perfect (€29): two choices for the starter, main course, cheese, and dessert. The welcome and service were impeccable.

07/03/2026: On several occasions, the pints served seemed significantly smaller than expected. A pint is normally 50 cl, and it would be appreciated if the proportions were accurate. When you pay for a pint, you simply expect to receive the advertised quantity. Furthermore, the service could be more friendly and attentive to customers. These are essential elements for a truly enjoyable experience. This comment is not meant to be aggressive, but rather clear and constructive, in the hope that these aspects will be improved.

16/02/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this place. Besides having an unpleasant waiter who has absolutely no manners (no hello, no thank you), the café is filthy, there were ants on the tables, the ashtrays were full when we arrived, and the toilets were dirty. When we asked for our table to be cleaned, the waiter didn't even apologize for the state of the table and didn't change the ashtrays. The waiter was also on his phone the entire time, with his hood up and his hair down; I even found a phone in my hot chocolate!
