06/04/2026: Wow… what to say about this place, if even I had words to describe it. Well, the one I know best is probably: Terrible! Horrendous! Not only mcdonald’s in general is a lot more expensive in france it’s also where the worst ones are apparently. Waiting 15min for a Large Big Tasty Meal and when I got it it was cold, tasteless (ironic ain’t it, they should change the name to Not Tasty or something lol). Absolutely awful. I forgive my local UK mcdonald’s from now on as this was the lowest service you can ever get.

06/04/2026: We ordered the wrong dish. We ordered an Extreme Double Steak Hache and the Best of Steak, but it was served to someone else. Next time, we'll remember to print out the order receipt.

09/03/2026: A traditional Asian caterer, I tried several dishes like beef with onions, chicken with mushrooms, and fried rice, etc., and they were good. With only 3 tables for dining in, it's better for takeout.

07/03/2026: We had been satisfied with this restaurant for several years. But the quality has dropped considerably in recent months, and tonight, March 7th, 2026, the food was frankly awful. The beef had a disgusting taste, the noodles were completely bland, and thankfully no one finished their meal, because two of the three of us were sick three hours after eating.

The welcome was top-notch, the service impeccable, the cleanliness spotless, and, most importantly: the food… incredible. A huge thank you to Jarod, who took care of us. I would recommend this waiter a hundred times over, and that's being generous: smiling, polite, efficient… Unfortunately, my voice failing me prevented me from thanking him properly at the time.

17/01/2026: The hotel has deteriorated drastically. We stayed at this hotel a few years ago, which is why we quickly decided to book the Dreamcastle again. But it's no longer recommendable. The reception staff are great, super friendly and helpful, but that's about it. At breakfast, everyone seemed disorganized and glum – no wonder, given the swarm of unruly children (and one adult). The room itself was okay. The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator smelled strange, and there were no slippers or bathrobes in the room – a real shame (especially with the carpet in the room 🤢). The bathroom had definitely seen better days; there were stains in the toilet. The bathtub was tiny for showering. They used paper cups (!) as toothbrush holders. There were paper cups (!) for the kettle. Tea and coffee weren't even refilled. Furthermore, the hotel is very noisy. Teenagers were quite loud in the hallways and rooms until midnight, and around 6 a.m., we were woken up by toddlers. The bathroom had definitely seen better days; there were stains in the toilet. The bathtub was small for showering. They used paper cups (!) for toothbrushes. Paper cups (!) for the kettle. The tea and coffee weren't even refilled. Furthermore, the hotel is very noisy. Teenagers were quite loud in the hallways and rooms until midnight, and then we were woken up by toddlers around 6 a.m. ... And the breakfast buffet was a total disappointment – ​​not worthy of a 4-star hotel. Plastic plates, plastic cups, and strange cutlery. Imagine being an adult in a 4-star hotel and being served plastic dishes! (The only exceptions were the coffee cup and cereal bowl.) The selection was also unsatisfactory – you get better in most B&Bs without stars. The scrambled eggs from a packet were very lumpy. There was only one type of sliced ​​cheese or Brie. The only positive things to mention were the croissants and the baguette. On top of that, there were almost €20 per day for parking, as well as an additional tourist tax per person per night. Everything was very geared towards a "children's hotel," almost like a youth hostel, but it's labeled as a 4-star hotel. Conclusion: We definitely won't be coming back. And I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

25/03/2026: Not disappointed at all! I went there recently with a friend for the first time (I like to ignore hearsay and trust my own judgment) and I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. I ordered a vegetarian couscous and it was absolutely delicious. I even had too much! 😅 The manager is lovely and very kind. I would definitely go back.

03/03/2026: Ten people at lunchtime and an inordinate amount of time to get our food. I can't even imagine what it's like when the restaurant is full. Plus, a sick waiter who coughed on every dish. Visited January 2026, nothing has changed.

28/03/2026: Extremely expensive and frequented by unsavory characters. Drunk regulars shouting in the middle of the afternoon. Not exactly glamorous for a date. They even charge 50 cents for a lemon slice—I've never seen anything like it! You obviously have to pay before you order anything. Unfriendly service. Not to mention the smell of cigarette smoke inside. I do not recommend it.

30/03/2026: My wife and I went to this place two mornings in a row for breakfast. We received a warm welcome. The €6 breakfast deal was really excellent. The two waitresses who worked there both days were in very good spirits. In short, it was perfect, and if I have the chance to return to Fontainebleau, I will certainly go back. Thank you!
