15/03/2026: A rather old hotel. It lacks many features to be even remotely good, especially the accessible room. The sink is in poor condition and too high for a wheelchair user, and the mirror is fixed to the wall when an adjustable-angle mirror would suffice. The tile grout is dirty. There's no grab bar for the toilet, and what's there is poorly placed. The shower drains slowly. The bedding is poor quality and far too soft for transferring from a wheelchair. The coat hook grab bar is broken and therefore useless. And the lamps have no bulbs? On the plus side, the staff are friendly. I wouldn't recommend it, except as a last resort or if you have no other options.

01/02/2026: This hotel, part of the LOUVRE HOTELS GROUP, needs a supervisor's visit because this establishment is tarnishing their image. My 85-year-old father, who lives in Nancy, needed a decent hotel on his way back from a holiday in Brittany. I booked directly, and the price was much higher than on Booking.com, which already takes a 10% commission from businesses. Despite several requests, I couldn't get a booking confirmation: this was a necessary precaution to ensure my father wouldn't be left without a room upon arrival. The room was freezing cold. The toilet seat wasn't even fixed. The curtains were old and neglected. There were no restaurants nearby, which was inconvenient. €132 is expensive for a one-night stay with breakfast. Only the breakfast was good and plentiful. The tourist tax wasn't displayed: over €5 for a single person is more than strange, as this isn't a luxury hotel. This review, unfortunately, echoes many others found on Google. Avoid this hotel. P.S.: Don't send me your standard apology; it's pointless.

23/03/2026: A simple restaurant with a €16.50 set menu (main course and starter) and Portuguese specialties. The drinks are overpriced. So we just had a kir for €4, which was served in small flutes. The starters were decent. The main course was shepherd's pie. The mashed potatoes were good, topped with large mushrooms in an unfamiliar meat sauce. A bit disappointed, as this restaurant was very good a few years ago.

04/03/2026: Very disappointed. It really wasn't great! The rice wasn't Portuguese at all... The restaurant's name is completely misleading! I won't be going back and I absolutely do not recommend it!

07/12/2025: We pointed out a hair on a sandwich in the display case to the waitress. We wanted to buy the last two. She asked us if we still wanted them?! So we only took one. Five minutes later, she said to her colleague, laughing, "Some customers saw a hair on their sandwich. What do we do? Put it back?" Well, of course, we're not going to throw it away! 🤣 The hygiene is appalling. I can only imagine what happens if things fall on the floor in the kitchen! We're not going to throw it away!

14/01/2026: What a rip-off! I came for some sushi to go, and the presentation is a complete joke. 16 euros!!! I might as well go to a Greek place; I'd eat better there.

20/12/2025: The receptionist yells at customers when she makes a mistake with orders. My little sister was yelled at with absolutely no respect. High prices for food that seems mass-produced. This place is absolutely to be avoided. ⚠️⚠️⚠️

11/03/2026: Having been a regular customer, we recently noticed that the sales assistants don't say hello or goodbye. You're in a business, so the least you can do is respect your customers. So we decided to stop coming. And we found a better place.

14/02/2026: After a 25-minute wait, we left. The staff were in a panic, especially at the crepe station! There was only one waitress who seemed concerned, but she was too isolated. Avoid this place! 😬😬

07/03/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! For TooGoodToGo baskets I arrived 13 minutes before closing time to pick up a TooGoodToGo basket. The shopkeepers told me I couldn't collect my basket because I was late, even though they clearly had the option of giving it to me. I made it very clear that I had come from far away. Of course, they'll just keep the five euros.

31/03/2026: Unpleasant staff. They respond curtly, and judging by other reviews, I'm not the only one who's noticed this. They're very rushed; if you hesitate for more than 5 seconds over a dish, she literally stormed off, practically walking out. They managed to make the beef on the skewers disgusting, sorry for the language, and I'm not usually picky. And as for the cooking, make an effort to respect the order. If you ask for rare, it's not to have burnt and tough patches on the meat...

17/02/2026: Very disappointed with our visit on 14/02/26. We arrived as a group of four with a reservation for 8:30 pm. No problem there, we were seated immediately. We waited about 15 minutes to order (acceptable on Valentine's Day). The waitress, although very pleasant, made the mistake of taking our order for drinks, starters, and main courses without writing them down (only one set menu was offered). This might not have been a problem if our order had been given to the kitchen... because we did receive our drinks and starters (the starter consisted of industrial charcuterie, except perhaps for the fish rillettes which were good; the cocktail was mainly composed of a very sweet soda, frozen fruit, and, for some unknown reason, raw sugar at the bottom which didn't even melt). After an hour's wait (9:45 pm), another very pleasant waitress came to see us and asked if we had received our main courses. I told her no, but that we had already ordered an hour ago and hadn't received anything since. So she took our order again, and after another 30-minute wait (10:15 PM), we finally got our food! Great!… Three out of the four dishes (two plates of suckling pig and one cod) were completely cold, not lukewarm, really cold. We pointed this out to the waitress, who took the dishes back and sent them to the kitchen. I'm sure they were reheated in the microwave because everything came back hot but dried out… quite a disappointment. My piece of beef, which arrived hot, was, in my opinion, not very good quality because it was full of gristle; half of it went back to the kitchen… We then waited for dessert because it was included in the price of the set menu… another 40-minute wait for someone to take our dessert order. And the surprise: it was all frozen… Another huge disappointment, because Portugal has so much more to offer in terms of pastries than a ridiculous 4cm diameter defrosted cheesecake with two tiny grapes on the plate… At €69 per person, eating vacuum-packed deli meats, frozen fries, cold or dry fish/meat, and a frozen dessert is painful. When it came time to pay, the woman asked us if everything was alright. Honestly, I told her it was a long wait, and she said, "That's just how it is, we can't do anything about it." I was expecting at least a "Yes, please excuse us." We certainly won't be back, and we won't be giving the place any good reviews.

23/11/2025: Very disappointed. The restaurant was cold. The cod fillet was more like a loin, as I got the tail, and it was very dry, even grilled. The portion of rice was small. The chocolate mousse was just cream. I really expected better.

08/02/2026: This isn't the first time we've eaten there; the food is excellent. Despite this, we've always had the same problem with the bill. Even though the bill is rather high, we're always charged for items we didn't eat or order. For example, they add three coffees when there are two of us at the table and only one was ordered, or they add side dishes. Furthermore, when we point this out to the waiter, he changed the bill to reflect an order that wasn't even ours! We had to ask a third time to get a bill that reflected what we had actually consumed.

26/01/2026: The service is always very fast, pleasant, and high-quality. All the dishes are consistently excellent. I never tire of eating here 😊 I highly recommend it!
