03/08/2026: We came for a drink and to share a cheese board and some sausage. Before ordering, I asked the waiter which cheeses were on the board. He replied: Camembert, Saint-Nectaire, and Cantal. I wasn't asking out of curiosity: not everyone likes every cheese, and some people may even have allergies. When the plates arrived, the first surprise: our portion of sausage was noticeably smaller than the one at the next table, even though we had ordered exactly the same thing. Then the cheese board arrived, and I noticed that the Saint-Nectaire had been replaced with Gruyère, without anyone informing us. I pointed this out to the waiter. His response: "Oh, I didn't even notice, they must have run out." No apologies, no explanation, no offer of a replacement or any kind of compensation. He simply left, leaving us with a different board than the one we had been promised. The most disappointing aspect was the waiter's attitude: after this remark, which was made very politely, we felt completely ignored for the rest of the evening. Out-of-stock situations can happen, that's not the issue. However, informing the customer before serving a different product, apologizing, and offering a solution seems to me to be the foundation of good service. I hope this feedback will be taken constructively, because with more attentive service, the experience would have been much better.

08/07/2026: One of the best sushi restaurants in the area, the ingredients are carefully selected, the recipes are varied, and the flavors are spot on. They regularly offer special deals that are definitely worth checking out, and I highly recommend their coconut Nutella dessert—it's to die for! And how can I not mention the service? The lovely hostesses are kind, attentive, and always smiling, and according to my daughter, "the lady at the register is so nice!" An excellent restaurant that I highly recommend.

05/08/2026: What a disappointment… During our stroll along the port of Saint-Raphaël with our children on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, we simply wanted to stop for a drink. It was 11:20 a.m., and the restaurant was empty. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a distinctly negative expression, followed by the response: “I only serve lunch!” without any further suggestions or explanations. We found this reception particularly unpleasant, even discriminatory, as the way we were received made it seem as though our presence was unwelcome. A minimum of courtesy and customer service would have made all the difference. Fortunately, the neighboring restaurant, Le Drakkar, welcomed us with a smile, immediately served us drinks, and we ultimately decided to have lunch there. The welcome was warm, the service excellent, and the meal very enjoyable. Thank you to Le Drakkar for demonstrating true hospitality.

26/07/2026: Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. Everything was a bit bland, as if all it took was throwing a little turmeric around to create flavorful dishes. Everything tasted the same (again, not bad either). The waiter and waitress were grumpy and made the bare minimum of effort. We were thoroughly bored.

31/07/2026: Yesterday, to end our stay in Rayol-Candel-sur-Mer, we came here to pick up our meal. A rather eclectic mix: cheeseburger, steak tartare, and linguine alle vongole. 26/07/2026: A truly great place to remember for delicious fish and seafood. The entire restaurant team is fantastic, with a warm and friendly welcome. We had a wonderful family lunch and enjoyed tasty and delicious dishes. The seafood platter was excellent, and the prawns marinière were a real treat. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the ingredients and the food. Thank you 🙏🏼

07/08/2026: Go for it! The best aioli in Provence is absolutely delicious and honestly reasonably priced compared to other places on the coast. As if that weren't enough... the owner, Cecil, is a sweetheart, a lovely, helpful, and approachable woman. It's a must-try in Le Lavandou. 10/10
