The portions were generous, and I felt we got excellent value for money compared to other restaurants. Many thanks to Daniel, who took such good care of us. I recommend making a reservation if you want a table with the best view.

11/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful discovery at Restaurant des Maures! We had a fantastic time. We started with an Imperial beer with candied chestnuts and a chestnut kir, original and delicious specialties. For the main courses, the wild boar stew with chestnuts was flavorful and perfectly cooked, as were the tender and generous pork ribs. To finish, the gourmet coffee was a real treat. The welcome was warm, the service pleasant, and the atmosphere convivial. The entire team was attentive to our needs. We highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Collobrières.

13/08/2026: The com thit kho was incredibly creamy! 😍 The pho was good too, but it didn't quite blow me away 🫥 In any case, the place is dog-friendly 🐕 (the staff brought my dog ​​a bowl of water as soon as we sat down. Thank you!)

06/08/2026: It's true that the food is excellent, however the service made us doubt on many occasions if we were ever going to eat. We arrived in the middle of the lunch rush for our 1.30pm reservation and were seated at an unset table. We sat there for about 25 minutes waiting for our orders to be taken, meanwhile the 3 servers sprinted around the very busy restaurant. Finally we flagged one of the servers down to take our order. 20 more minutes go by, still nothing. No drinks, no tableware, no napkin, just us sitting there feeling slightly as if we've been exiled. On two occasions other servers came by asking if we'd ordered already, to which we responded yes. Finally, hope. The server brought out the very delicious-looking pork roll appetiser, only to place it on the table next to us, given to a couple who sat down around halfway through our shunning. By this point tables were turning over and we still didn't even have spoons on the table. We flagged down the waiter and asked if everything was okay. She went to the kitchen and came back looking very confused, and then returned to ask us to repeat our order not once, but twice. Finally our appetiser arrived, which was delicious, and then cue another 30 minute wait. The tables beside us have come and gone. We again asked if everything was okay with our order, and the response was yes. We were quite literally gathering up our things to give up when they rushed out our mains. Again, I must stress the actual food was delicious. I just hope that our confused meal was a one-off due to the chaos of an admittedly busy lunch service, as it really detracted from our experience. Nearly 2 hours at a restaurant where the average dining time seemed less than an hour.

10/08/2026: A small, well-located restaurant on Place Massaillou. The indoor dining room is air-conditioned, which was very welcome on this sweltering day. There's also an outdoor terrace. They had fans set up. All the servers were very friendly. The food was very good.

28/07/2026: A lovely place, a lovely waitress, and lovely food. We recommend the pasta with porcini mushrooms and the beef tartare.

13/07/2026: What a pleasant surprise to discover the small, shaded terrace! The welcome and service were professional yet relaxed, just the way we like them. The pizzas are excellent—we love the crust and the toppings are made with quality ingredients! All accompanied by a local rosé, it's simply divine! 🙌 Mussels and paella are available to order, which is good to know! Go without hesitation!

26/06/2026: --- Excellent experience at Le Gran Bleu restaurant! Very kind and welcoming staff, always available. The pizza is truly delicious, and the mussels are superb, fresh, and flavorful. Highly recommended! ⭐

24/07/2026: The tuna tartate was tasteless (the tuna itself was good), the citrus and scallop risotto was bland, the scallops were barely visible, and there were a few pieces of grapefruit thrown onto the risotto. The truffle pasta (no fresh truffle, but truffle from a jar) was poorly presented (my grandmother could have done better in her small kitchen). The staff was unremarkable (far from the warm welcome you find in most Italian restaurants). The pasta was only al dente (which will be difficult for those who don't like it). The bill was very high. In short, a tourist trap and a very expensive one.
