31/07/2025: When we went for dinner, I didn't understand why the restaurant was empty because my wife and I had a very good meal. I would go back. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable.

26/02/2026: It's not like me to pay, but €14 for a basic Caesar salad to go, which you can find for €7.50 in a bakery meal deal with a piece of bread and cutlery, but here there's nothing at all for €14, you have to eat with your fingers 😡

14/02/2026: It was just okay. They took a long time to serve us, the wait was long, and they didn't even know what a Dame Blanche was, which is unacceptable. The pizzas were also poorly topped. I don't recommend this restaurant; it's unreliable and unprofessional.

23/02/2026: As a customer since it opened, I've noticed a significant decline in quality. The dishes offered are generally less refined than before. The ingredients seem less fresh, and the overall quality lacks consistency. The sushi, in particular, is no longer up to standard; there's a clear lack of freshness. A special mention goes to the desserts: Neapolitan pastries cut in half and left out in the open air, giving them ample time to dry out... For a buffet at this price, this is particularly problematic. The state of the restrooms is also worrying. The toilets, once clean and well-maintained, are now dirty and dilapidated. This gives an impression of general neglect. At €26.99 per person (on weekends), the value for money is no longer justified. At this price point, a traditional restaurant offers better quality and a more polished experience. The conclusion is simple: the price goes up, but the quality goes down. It's regrettable for an establishment that started out so promisingly.

22/02/2026: I found chicken floating in the toilet after I flushed. Is this a joke??? I found a hair in my food, and I don't think it was a leg hair 😉. The waiter pushed me against my table when I asked for a Pepsi instead of a Coke (the man said he'd had a long day and didn't feel like serving me). The man's name is Kim; he was with a woman named Hanifa. My rare steamed dumplings were pan-fried. The woman then called me obese because I weigh several tons. Then another waiter stole from my wallet because I didn't want to tip him.

23/10/2025: I have been using this method for years, first in the 04 and now in Draguignan. Very practical and good quality whether cooked or to be cooked.

16/03/2026: This brasserie is a place to avoid at all costs! The chef, Adeline, shows a complete lack of respect. She's arrogant, rude, and has absolutely no manners. Run away immediately! So much the better, good manners aren't your strong suit. I should have come and spoken to you face to face about this disrespect, but I have better things to do than waste time with a chef, lol. Come down a peg or two. The gods are only at Mount Olympic, not in Valletta. She thinks she's a Michelin-starred chef. You only work in a brasserie...

30/01/2026: Quick service, satisfactory quality. Brasserie atmosphere, so it gets very crowded.

17/03/2026: Not a good experience at all; the bread was mostly white, not at all crusty like good bread should be, and the cakes were very, very mediocre.

01/03/2026: The Tarte Tropezienne was really bad, probably a leftover from the day before. For €22, you'd expect better. Another experience with panbreads that were sparsely filled and tasteless.

24/02/2026: Very disappointed by the food, the hamburgers were too dirty and served cold. A shame because the service was excellent and very attentive.

24/02/2026: A very disappointing experience... What can I say??? The service was actually quite pleasant, the waiters were smiling and professional, BUT the food was a disaster! We waited 45 minutes for a plate of salmon tartare, oysters, and cold fries!!!! Thankfully...they offered a discount on the bill... In short, avoid this place! To add to my review: a promising start with an excellent homemade tapenade, but the lukewarm foie gras was inedible due to the visible veins. Waiting 45 minutes for salmon tartare is incomprehensible despite the quality of the product. The oysters were dry (perhaps opened too early?)…and therefore not to my husband's liking, as he's a big oyster fan. They did offer a discount…thankfully! In short…for our first restaurant visit to the area, it was a disappointment. Once again, a big thank you to the waiters who shone with their kindness and smiles.

22/01/2026: Good evening, the waitresses on Wednesday night were very unfriendly, not a smile and not even a "Good evening." I ordered three chocolate éclairs, they weren't good, and on top of that, she wrapped them in paper. I had to tell her to put the éclairs in a box.

18/03/2026: It's truly like being at a friend's house! A warm welcome, delicious, simple, home-style cooking. A great atmosphere: you won't be disappointed and you'll want to come back. Attentive and discreet service at reasonable prices. It's great to have you in the neighborhood!

15/03/2026: Mixed feelings A warm welcome with a smile, a perfect location, and a beautiful setting. (Great branding!) A rather simple and quite small room. Two other points: • The restaurant • Breakfast Breakfast was expensive, with limited choices and no local products; in my opinion, it needs a complete overhaul. But the real drawback lies in the poor quality of the Riva restaurant, especially considering the price of the set menu (€72). The service was mixed, with inexperienced and slow staff, resulting in a very long wait. As for the food, I believe there is a lack of skill and technique. The seared shrimp were far too salty. The foie gras ravioli was well-prepared, but the ginger-infused meat jus, due to a disastrous amount of ginger, became a dish that numbed the palate. The main course was fine, nothing exceptional but decent (be sure to sharpen your knives well as the blades are no longer cutting). The dessert was very good, fresh and pleasant, a lovely ending. Regarding the wine list, it's a shame there are so few regional wines, especially in the selection of wines by the glass. Nevertheless, I thank the staff at Maison Berard for their superb welcome.

18/02/2026: I only used the spa; I had a gift voucher for about 2 hours of relaxation: bubble bath, themed shower, hammam (too hot), sauna + cold bath, and upstairs free herbal tea room, however, the herbal tea was cold!

18/02/2026: Avoid at all costs! The mussels and fries curry selection was a mixed bag. Half the mussels were empty, 1.4 were dried out, and the remaining 1.4 were mediocre. The sign advertises mussels and fries as a specialty. The waitress and waiter were friendly, and the terrace was clean.
