21/08/2025: Excellent fish stew! Highly recommended restaurant with a choice of 6 main courses, a welcome change from the menus on the street next door with their 50 dishes catering to tourists...

10/02/2026: Many items on the menu were unavailable. We ordered six shrimp as a starter and a John Dory fillet with a very mediocre gratin and a not-so-good coffee, and the bill came to €98 for two… Far too expensive for what we ate!

03/11/2025: Very nice restaurant in town and very well located (near the port and the beach). It was super good. The terrace is super large and very pleasant, everything is wooded, it's sublime. And for me, who is picky about desserts, this is the best chocolate cake I've ever eaten. A great welcome.

18/04/2026: Absolutely avoid this place... We came for just a drink, arrived to a sticky table, The IPAs, which we usually love, were truly awful. At €12 for two beers, steer clear... We didn't even see a price list. Not to mention the waitress's excessively vulgar attire, which seemed to change from mopping the floor to serving drinks... I really wonder, what kind of clientele this bar/restaurant is trying to attract...

28/03/2026: Excellent Asian restaurant with wonderful staff, delicious rolls, oysters, a wide selection of sauces, and food prepared right in front of you. They offer beer, wine, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Reasonable prices for unlimited food. Highly recommended.

02/02/2026: Lunch on February 1st: poorly presented dishes, deplorable service, a completely open terrace in the middle of February, even with the sun shining – not a single sheltered spot! Eating in the cold, in a draft. No staff, just one person taking orders, clearing tables, and serving – all rushed and haphazard… a 1.5-hour wait. It doesn't deserve any stars, really, even though there's potential… disappointing, I won't be going back. What will it be like in peak season? 😳

01/02/2026: We arrived around 3 pm for hot drinks. There were five occupied tables (11 people) and one waitress. She greeted us, claiming she was alone, and assigned us a table even though there were four cups on the one we chose. She was simply unprofessional. She spilled hot water from the teapot all over the table. Not a word of apology. Unfriendly. We had to insist to get the menu. What kind of service is this? We come to have a nice time, we don't say anything, we certainly don't complain, and we leave disappointed. At the register, my friend politely told them she wasn't satisfied with the service, and they told her the waitress was doing her best. So much for customer service!

17/10/2025: Suppose to open early however pizza not ready for 40 minutes even though we were first in 😤 not very tasty either - better to go elsewhere

20/09/2025: Very good pizzeria, the pizzas are large, beautiful, and above all, delicious!!! The prices are very affordable, and the owners are really friendly. I highly recommend Jmarc and Maryline.

17/04/2026: We came in for coffee and a waffle one evening, and were initially told they didn't serve coffee in the evenings, but eventually they agreed to make our drinks. However, my waffle was still frozen inside when I started eating it, so I pointed it out and they put it back in the toaster. They might as well not sell waffles at all! Very disappointed, I don't recommend it.

13/04/2026: Avoid this place at all costs. The man who tried to serve us was incredibly rude, looked unkempt, and had very poor personal hygiene—like he’d just rolled out of bed. He immediately accused us of moving chairs and blocking the walkway, even though it was already like that when we sat down. On top of that, he insisted everyone had to order a drink or he wouldn’t serve us, which felt completely unreasonable—especially when my son didn’t want one. The whole experience was uncomfortable and unwelcoming, so we left straight away.

25/03/2026: I had sauerkraut for lunch today which was tasteless, the cabbage had no flavor, and the charcuterie was also tasteless. I told the waitress who was sorry, we paid and left without dessert or coffee (we had it elsewhere).

16/03/2026: This brasserie is a place to avoid at all costs! The chef, Adeline, shows a complete lack of respect. She's arrogant, rude, and has absolutely no manners. Run away immediately! So much the better, good manners aren't your strong suit. I should have come and spoken to you face to face about this disrespect, but I have better things to do than waste time with a chef, lol. Come down a peg or two. The gods are only at Mount Olympic, not in Valletta. She thinks she's a Michelin-starred chef. You only work in a brasserie...

17/04/2026: Very good pizza, we went to eat it Wednesday evening and everything went very well, the waitress was super friendly and the pizza was generously topped.

16/04/2026: Buy one medium pizza to take away, get one free :) The Savoyarde is excellent :) The pizzas are generous, very well topped, and delicious.

12/04/2026: Delicious, generously filled crêpes and galettes at a very good price. Very friendly owners. A must-visit if you want to eat really good crêpes and galettes!

25/02/2026: The couple were friendly, but the food was nowhere near the quality of Breton galettes and crêpes. (Being Breton, I can say that.) Very disappointed considering the rating.

14/01/2026: Cockroaches in the kitchen, and the owner thinks it's normal: "They come from the cellar"... yet, in the village, not a single other cockroach has been reported! Barbecue sauce comes back from the tables, and the owner transfers it from the ramekins to the storeroom and, presto, it's served again, with all the stench of customers who've dipped their meat, their forks, their fingers, their spittle... The owner even goes so far as to hide the clean dish towels so the cook can't get to them, to avoid using detergent! Completely contrary to basic hygiene rules and the law... He's ripped off everyone who's tried to work for him, and on top of that, he's tried to give them a terrible reputation... what's more, he publicly belittles the poor waiter, who was actually very kind and professional... Avoid at all costs!

19/01/2025: Sunday afternoon, we sit down for a snack. The room is almost empty, a few people outside. The table next to us waited a very long time for a coffee! We wait 15 minutes for our table to finally be cleared. The waitress deigned to give us the cards unfortunately she never came back to take our order!!!! 30 minutes or more to eat nothing We decide to leave.... The waitress looks at us without reaction.

15/01/2025: Welcome to the Auberge du Port, where we reinvent the art of mistreating customers! An unforgettable experience thanks to a room manager as friendly as a 'no parking' sign and as competent as a goldfish at the wheel. Sorry for coming to the Auberge du port as a tourist trap! what audacity on our part! Special mention to the moment when she asked us to leave, something never seen before! (according to her, her tired brigade couldn't manage) I point out that when we sat down we heard "we're coming to take your order"... only 45 minutes later still no one. Honestly, if you're looking for a place to laugh (yellow) or test your patience, this is it. Otherwise, look elsewhere, where the customer is perhaps still somewhat respected. We give 1 star for the cuisine which we were not able to taste but if it is up to the rest we are not wrong.
