01/04/2026: The service was horrible, we waited almost 2 hours to get our food, there was a lack of seasoning in the pasta and the shrimp was raw, 7€ for a Coca Cola, the mussels are served with unseasoned McDonald’s fries.

12/04/2026: The floors of the courtyard and the seaside terrace are completely neglected. Under some tables, there are large piles of dead leaves and other debris. A quick sweep wouldn't hurt. Today I was at a table and for 20 minutes, nothing, not a single server. Before leaving to try my luck at L'Oustaou, I took a quick look inside and saw the staff sitting around a table at the back of the café, completely oblivious to the needs of the customers or the arrival of new ones.

17/03/2026: I love this relaxed atmosphere; the women don't take themselves too seriously, which is great. The meals are good and inexpensive, and the view is magnificent.

08/06/2026: Very disappointing. There was an enormous amount of noise throughout the night, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel. A party was being held in the hotel-restaurant, but we were never informed before our arrival. If we had been warned that the music and noise would continue all night, we might have made a different decision. It is unacceptable to pay for a hotel room and not be able to sleep. Under these conditions, the main service expected of a hotel is simply not provided. Our night was completely ruined.

22/09/2025: Idyllic setting, cheerful and punchy waiter. Very good food! And fresh! They certainly don't accept credit cards (as indicated by the waiter and on the menus), but they do accept checks and even the option to pay by bank transfer! In short, a great way to have a good time!

07/09/2025: Absolutely avoid this place!! The staff behave like teenagers, cleaning your table and removing your cup even if you haven't finished your coffee. They're unwelcoming, just like the manager, who's unpleasant and seems to have left his smile in the sand and in his last glass of alcohol, which is probably used regularly as mouthwash by the entire staff. Add to that the pretentious attitude behind the bar, and you have a recipe for disaster for this sad restaurant. I will never set foot in this restaurant again; it ruins this beautiful beach. There's no indication that they don't accept credit cards, which makes you wonder why!!!... My advice: go next door to be treated properly, but definitely don't go there.

08/11/2025: Shameful! I made a reservation for my birthday, it was confirmed, so I arrived on time and on the day I booked, only to find the restaurant closed. There were no signs, no posts on their Instagram mentioning the closure, especially since the reservation had been confirmed by email and text message. Thanks for ruining my birthday!

27/10/2025: I had reserved a table via the website. Reservation confirmed. We showed up on Sunday, October 26th, and what a surprise. It said "closed." I don't know if it's permanently closed. We had to find another solution. And to top it all off, this morning I received a message asking how my meal went. It's better to laugh about it...

19/01/2025: Sunday afternoon, we sit down for a snack. The room is almost empty, a few people outside. The table next to us waited a very long time for a coffee! We wait 15 minutes for our table to finally be cleared. The waitress deigned to give us the cards unfortunately she never came back to take our order!!!! 30 minutes or more to eat nothing We decide to leave.... The waitress looks at us without reaction.

15/01/2025: Welcome to the Auberge du Port, where we reinvent the art of mistreating customers! An unforgettable experience thanks to a room manager as friendly as a 'no parking' sign and as competent as a goldfish at the wheel. Sorry for coming to the Auberge du port as a tourist trap! what audacity on our part! Special mention to the moment when she asked us to leave, something never seen before! (according to her, her tired brigade couldn't manage) I point out that when we sat down we heard "we're coming to take your order"... only 45 minutes later still no one. Honestly, if you're looking for a place to laugh (yellow) or test your patience, this is it. Otherwise, look elsewhere, where the customer is perhaps still somewhat respected. We give 1 star for the cuisine which we were not able to taste but if it is up to the rest we are not wrong.

30/04/2026: The restaurant is filthy; hygiene is clearly not a priority. You arrive and not a single table is clean. Customers have to ask for help cleaning their tables, and there are several people behind the counter, but the manager doesn't send anyone to clean.

30/04/2026: Quick and welcoming, but poor hygiene, the tables are ALL dirty even though the McDonald's is empty, and the toilets are broken.

16/06/2026: Excellent service, the ice cream was amazing. A huge selection, I'll definitely be back.

14/06/2026: First time in my life I've thrown away ice cream. I don't know if they're homemade or just tasteless, or even bad because they were bought cheaply from a wholesaler, but don't waste your money here. In short, very disappointed.

23/04/2026: Honestly, the grilled octopus and cuttlefish were amazing. There were four of us.

17/04/2026: A COMPLETE SHAME - AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT A very disappointing experience. We paid €63 for three aioli dishes (€21 per person), but the plates were mostly composed of vegetables (carrots and green beans), with only two shrimp and a very small piece of fish. The price did not seem to reflect the quality of the food. When we asked for an explanation, the exchange with the staff went very badly. The tone quickly escalated, and we felt uncomfortable and pressured, which is regrettable in this type of situation. We also noted a lack of communication with management, which did nothing to calm the situation. Following this experience, we have taken steps to report the situation to the relevant authorities. We therefore leave with an overall negative impression.

17/05/2026: While passing through Valletta, I stopped to order takeout and was frankly very disappointed. I ordered a meal deal and they didn't include dessert! I also ordered a 280g rösti, but it didn't have the rösti! And the box of 20 nuggets had soggy nuggets that weren't very pleasant! And yet, when I went, there was nobody there, so it can't be blamed on a rush because there wasn't one at all.

22/05/2026: We were welcomed into this restaurant after 9 pm on a Sunday evening during the off-season, without a reservation, unlike the neighboring fish restaurant. The quality of the food was perfect! Very fresh products and generous portions. Furthermore, the service was very quick and pleasant. Well done! We will definitely be back soon.

22/02/2026: A truly appalling experience today. I bought some Middle Eastern pastries and, after noticing an unusual taste, I discovered they were completely moldy inside (greenish-gray mold). This is unacceptable and a health hazard. I took photos and have my card payment receipt. I strongly advise against this establishment until hygiene and storage standards are strictly adhered to. I will be filing a complaint.

18/02/2026: Extremely disappointed. La Goulette restaurant is no longer what it used to be. The food is poorly prepared, tasteless, and a far cry from traditional tagine and couscous recipes. Avoid this place.
