03/09/2024: Great, the terrace is pleasant with the summer heat, the staff is helpful and friendly, as for the food it is simply delicious, a real treat. I highly recommend!
01/09/2024: To be banned, a culinary experience that an hour later I ended up with my head in the toilet. Thank you for the not fresh salmon and the rice which must have been reheated I don't know how many times. And all this having expressed my dissatisfaction we bring you the bill in the sense of an apology or explanation. No, you pay and you move. My worst dining experience.

15/08/2024: Pour cette 2eme fois à Bandol, retour pour un déjeuner à la Caravelle. Le service est cordial et souriant, les mets sont bien préparés et goûteux (testez l'aioli !). Pour un très bon déjeuner, installez vous !
12/08/2024: Un service souriant pour des plats qui pourraient être mieux et surtout avec plus de goût comme pour la daurade de ce soir. Le meli mélo gambas st jacques était mieux!

26/08/2024: Very nice place! To go to the beach on foot, it's a bit far but the swimming pool is very well equipped for adults and children! The activities are varied and those who are interested can take advantage of them. The cuisine is excellent and the choice of dishes is numerous. The teams (young and old) who work on site are very accessible and do their best to meet vacationers' requests!

14/08/2024: When we arrived to the restaurant the kitchen was closed but we were invited to sit at the bar area and we chose the bar menu which was absolutely delicious. We had very gourmand mini burgers, crockets and polenta chips topped with avocado. Children loved the food and the milk shakes! I definitely recommend that place for couples or families. I paid 200 € for a family of 5 (3 glasses of wine and 5 milkshakes included). it was definitely worth the price.

02/09/2024: The only place serving dinner on the Main Street when we wanted to eat. Lovely location for whiling the day away. The lady who seated us was welcoming and helpful.
I ordered the chicken supreme with sauce on the side. The chicken was so dry, it was inedible. My husband had the beef, which he was happy with.
Maybe a bad choice, maybe a bad night. I would have been embarrassed to serve that in my home. As a paying customer, in a restaurant, presumably being cooked for by a trained chef, I expected better.

Excellent ! Menu at €36, excellent value for money. Tasty and simple, fresh and local, quality and mastery of the chef.
Very pleasant service, very nice setting.
Nice wine list, a little expensive that said.
Small downside during our visit...the garnish of a dish was missing but we were not informed of this...replaced by "emergency fries". A little disappointing on this point.
New experience in a few days
SINCE, new owner...it's just a big scam, overpriced...and food as good as your primary school canteen in 1984, without even trying to pretend it's good.
I don't see how he's going to be able to keep the customers 🤷🏻♂️

We've had the pleasure of dining in this place for years... And until now we went there with our eyes closed... But what a surprise this year... It has nothing to do with what we knew until now... 'now. Products certainly not local, supermarket cheese 2 slices for 10 euros.... At the hotel de la tour in Sanary (Michelin guide) 4 cheeses to choose from for 12 euros.... The goat cheeses that were there are far away proposed.
In other words I advise you not to stop there.... It has become a VERY VERY Expensive Brasserie.... In other words a tourist trap

08/09/2024: I went to test after reading the shared reviews. The honest review: the service was very fast. The cheese nan are good and the prices are reasonable. For dishes with sauces such as chicken curry, chicken korma etc. on the other hand, there is a big lack of taste/spiciness. My chicken korma tasted the same as my partner's chicken Tikka masala. Bland meat but not bad.
To conclude, fast service but dishes need to be spiced up as they are in other Indian restaurants.

06/09/2024: Great Indian restaurant! Very satisfied with the quality of service. Wide choice of dishes, with option for vegetarians and very good value for money.

16/08/2024: Very well placed tavern, directly at a ring road exit. The place is very warm with the kindness of the staff and the arrangement of the tables. The menu offers local and well-prepared products (duck, duck breast, even the salads are very good 😍)
In short, go there with your eyes closed if you want to have a good time with friends.

For starters 2 choices except that there is only one starter left...so no choice..... For main courses 2 choices meat or fish
Minimalist portion and mediocre quality meat impossible to cut
And the desserts ordered at the start of the meal and when served.....there are no more......
Extremely long service......a waiter who does what he can but who doesn't make up for the poor management of the kitchen. And we're not talking about the addition errors made by the kitchen... For our part, a room added to the table...
To flee...
